I Really Am A Villain

Ch. 1303 - Destruction of the Celestial Luan God Realm

“It’s been a long time, everyone,” said the figure walking out from the dust of the great mountain with a faint smile.

His voice was clean and magnetic, pleasant to the ear.

The sound of a sword being sheathed and light footsteps echoed. As the dust gradually dispersed, everyone finally saw Qi Haoran’s figure.

He wore his signature white robes, spotless, even after all these years.

His robe was as white as snow, and behind him hung a massive sword, three feet wide and three feet long, from which came the faint sound of a dragon’s cry.

The silver-white blade emitted a dim, fragile glow.

On his feet were black divine dragon boots; his long black hair was tied atop his head with a black silk cord, and in his eyes flickered the faint intent of a sword.

He cultivated the Sword Dao, but for him, the sword was only a vessel for power.

“Realm Lord Qi, you’re finally out,” Elder Bi let out a long sigh of relief.

What he feared most was that Qi Haoran might still be deep in enlightenment and unable to appear in time.

If that angered Xu Zimo, Vast Heaven God Realm might face annihilation.

“Elder Bi, what exactly has happened?” Qi Haoran’s gaze swept across his surroundings.

In an instant, his deep eyes seemed to penetrate millions of miles around Vast Heaven God Realm.

There was no sign of battle or destruction, clearly, the crushed life crystal hadn’t been due to an attack.

“You’d best ask this Young Master Xu yourself,” Elder Bi replied, before leading everyone else away.

This was a conversation they shouldn’t overhear.

“You are?” Qi Haoran glanced at Xu Zimo, and suddenly his eyes widened slightly, as if sensing something. “You’ve cultivated the Heaven-Shattering God-Scripture!”

As a fellow practitioner of the same divine art, he could sense even the faintest resonance, or perhaps Xu Zimo had deliberately released that aura.

“You are Qi Haoran?” Xu Zimo asked.

Qi Haoran nodded. “Are you from one of the Ten God-Clans?”

It was a reasonable assumption, after all, the Heaven-Shattering God-Scripture originated from the Absolute God Heaven, the land of those clans.

Xu Zimo said nothing. Instead, he took out a token, the inheritance token given by the Lord of Heaven himself, and tossed it toward Qi Haoran.

“This is Yuran’s token,” Qi Haoran exclaimed in surprise, catching it.

“Yes, it’s his,” Xu Zimo said.

“He asked me to bring it back. Now, I’ve fulfilled that promise.”

“How is he now?” Qi Haoran asked softly, his expression heavy.

“He’s dead,” Xu Zimo said bluntly.

“Dead…?” Qi Haoran was momentarily stunned.

“He was imprisoned and tortured by the Myriad Flowers Fairy. His God-Soul was already dissipating,” Xu Zimo said. “I happened to meet him on the final stretch of his life.”

“If we had been stronger back then, things wouldn’t have ended this way,” Qi Haoran murmured, his figure trembling slightly.

“He died still thinking about Vast Heaven God Realm.”

“What grudge did you have with the Myriad Flowers Fairy?” Xu Zimo asked.

He had met the fairy once before, though that was only a projection of her true self, when she controlled Xie Changliu’s wife’s mind.

“The grudge stems from the Heaven-Shattering God-Scripture,” Qi Haoran replied. “Each of the Ten Primordial God-Scriptures has a clan that guards it. In the northwest city, the Wan God-Clan guards the Heaven-Shattering God-Scripture. The Myriad Flowers Fairy, they say, serves as their Dao Guardian.”

“Their Dao Guardian?” Xu Zimo repeated.

“Yes,” Qi Haoran said. “The truth is, Lord of Heaven and I are twin brothers.”

“You don’t look alike,” Xu Zimo remarked.

“Who said twins have to look the same?” Qi Haoran said with a faint smile. “Our mother was a servant girl in the Wan God-Clan. By chance, she became pregnant with their overlord’s child. But because of her lowly status, we could not bear the Wan surname, only our mother’s, Qi.” He smiled bitterly and went on, “When we grew up, we stole a cultivation token for the Heaven-Shattering God-Scripture from the Wan God-Clan and fled into the Godfiend Abyss Heaven Demons. We wanted to found our own sect and rival the Ten God-Clans.”

“The Myriad Flowers Fairy was sent by the Wan God-Clan to kill you?” Xu Zimo asked.

“That must be it. We had no other conflict with her,” Qi Haoran said. “She’s unimaginably strong. Even when my brother and I had built a great reputation here, the two of us together were still no match for her. Lord of Heaven was captured, and I was forced into secluded cultivation, hoping one day to avenge him. Lord of Heaven was righteous, he sacrificed himself for Vast Heaven God Realm and for me,” Qi Haoran said, trembling.

“As for the Myriad Flowers Fairy,” Xu Zimo warned, “you’d better not get involved. She’s no mere cultivator, she’s an ancient being from ages long past. The fact that she helps the Wan God-Clan must mean she has her own plans.”

“Regardless, Vast Heaven God Realm owes you a debt,” Qi Haoran said solemnly. “If you ever need anything, come to us.”

“That’s convenient, I do have something in mind,” Xu Zimo said with a smile.

“What is it?” Qi Haoran asked.

“Help me destroy the Celestial Luan God Realm.”

“The Celestial Luan God Realm?” Qi Haoran frowned. “That’s not a small matter. I’ll need to consult the sect first, but I promise you’ll have a satisfying answer.”

“I’ll wait,” Xu Zimo said, nodding before walking toward the courtyard.

Qi Haoran watched him leave, understanding that the destruction of the Celestial Luan God Realm would not be simple.

After all, it was one of the top powers in the world.

Besides, he had just emerged from seclusion and couldn’t act alone without consulting others.

Inside the Vast Heaven God Realm’s grand hall, the elders gathered.

After hearing Qi Haoran’s words, the Second Elder was the first to complain. “He’s got so many Saint Sovereigns with him. If he wants to destroy the Celestial Luan God Realm, couldn’t he do it in minutes? Why does he need our help?”

“Young Master Xu surely has his own reasons,” Elder Bi replied.

“Elder Bi, you’re a sect elder. You should prioritize the interests of the sect,” the Second Elder shot back. “Do you know how many lives a war like this will cost?”

The hall erupted into arguments, some in favor of supporting Xu Zimo, others against.

“Huijun, what do you think?” Qi Haoran asked, turning to Qiao Huijun.

“I follow whatever the Realm Lord decides,” Qiao Huijun said with a smile.

He had stopped voicing opinions since Qi Haoran’s return. Whether they agreed or disagreed, neither stance offered much benefit, so he wisely left the decision to Qi Haoran.

“Anyone who disagrees, step forward,” Qi Haoran said coldly, sweeping his gaze across the room.

No one moved.
