I Really Am A Villain

Ch. 1272 - All Things Perish, Godfiend Abyss Heaven

The “three flowers” gathered at the peak referred to the three aspects of essence, energy, and soul. The Golden Blossom symbolized energy.

As the golden flower bloomed, the Primordial Blade of Seven Tribulations rotated continuously above it. From the sky, clear divine light descended, pouring into the golden flower beneath the blade.

“Primal God, you have crossed the line,” said End of Calamities, his voice growing heavy and displeased.

To invoke the three flowers in battle was no small matter. It meant the combatant was fighting in earnest, with power so great that even Saint Sovereigns would tremble.

The entire void was filled with thunder and lightning, shaking violently.

The golden flower fully opened. Seven bolts of heavenly lightning descended from the sky, striking the Primordial Blade of Seven Tribulations.

The blade exuded fierce and boundless killing intent, reaching upward to slay gods, and downward to sever the netherworld.

“Slay the Celestial Hound, break the heavenly fate!” the voice from within the carriage commanded.

The Primordial Blade of Seven Tribulations soared into the heavens.

This act completely enraged End of Calamities. His thunderous voice rolled across the world.

“If your true body were here, we could have a fair fight. But for a mere avatar, how dare you be so arrogant?!”

As his words fell, the sky roared. Thick clouds churned, rippling with boundless waves of power, as if the end of days had come to erase all living things beneath the heavens.

When the Primordial Blade of Seven Tribulations broke through the clouds, a violent crackling echoed.

Countless bolts of thunder poured down from the void.

This lightning was not formed from Primal Daos or Nomological Truths, it was the Primordial Edict itself: the Primordial Edict of Thunder.

Heaven and earth stood upon Primordial Edicts; where Primordial Edicts existed, there was creation.

This was the origin of all thunder, from it, all lightning in later ages had been born. Now, as the Primordial Edict of Thunder descended, the Primordial Blade of Seven Tribulations was tossed like a rootless weed, shattered again and again.

After only a few strikes, cracks spread across the blade’s surface.

The one in the carriage was both shocked and furious. “End of Calamities! You defy the Heavenly Dao itself, you will pay the price. I will not waste time with you any longer!”

The dragon-tiger beasts, previously pinned to the ground, suddenly rose. With a thunderous roar, they pulled the golden carriage upward, trying to flee.

“Since you’ve come, you won’t leave so easily,” End of Calamities said coldly. “This avatar of yours, I’ll be taking it.”

At his words, the heavenly thunder raged even fiercer.

The Primordial Blade of Seven Tribulations shattered completely, and the bolts of thunder fell upon the golden carriage.

“End of Calamities, you dare?!” the voice from within bellowed furiously.

“You think this is still the Ancient Era? The Middle Antiquity ended millions of years ago. How dare your Primal God Race come here and act so wantonly!” End of Calamities replied, unmoved.

Thunder destroyed everything. The power of rules crushed all other rules.

The dragon-tiger beasts roared, but were instantly engulfed by lightning.

Moments later, the golden carriage itself was consumed within the storm.

Nearby, the Abyssal Tyrant and Xu Zimo were still locked in combat.

Both were drenched in blood and gravely wounded.

But because of the Blood-Demon God-King Physique, the Abyssal Tyrant cared nothing for injury. His body, like the blood demons of legend, grew stronger the more blood it spilled, his vitality increasing rather than fading.

Xu Zimo looked up and saw the heavens collapsing in thunder.

“If we’re going to die, then let’s die together!” he growled.

He seized the Abyssal Tyrant by the body, power swirling violently within him, and hurled both of them toward the storm.

“Are you insane?!” the Abyssal Tyrant shouted, struggling desperately.

He often acted as though he feared nothing, but that was only because his Blood-Demon God-King Physique made him hard to kill. He had never truly faced death.

But the Primordial Edict of Thunder was a force far beyond even the most powerful Saint Sovereigns.

If struck, they would be obliterated instantly.

Even a Saint Sovereign’s Life-Death Soul could not withstand it.

Against the edicts themselves, there was no escape, the edicts could erase even the soul.

“LET GO OF ME!” the Abyssal Tyrant roared.

He had only sought to kill Xu Zimo for freedom’s sake, not to die alongside him.

The Primal Dao of Blood boiled on the surface of his body.

But Xu Zimo’s own Primal Dao of Blood rose as well, the same Primal Dao, clashing and intertwining.

Still gripping him tightly, Xu Zimo dragged him straight into the lightning.

Before either could even scream, everything turned to ash.

The golden carriage, the divine avatars, and both Xu Zimo and the Abyssal Tyrant vanished within the thunder of rules, reduced to nothingness.

That was the terror of the Primordial Edicts. Absolute annihilation.

“Open the Severed Head Path,” said End of Calamities calmly, as though ignoring the chaos below.

The Nine Ghost Gods were momentarily stunned, they did not understand.

“Just open it,” he said again. “Ask no more.”

The Severed Head Path was the only way out of this world for beings of the Ghost-God Heaven.

To walk it and live was to be reborn; to walk it and die was true death.

The Nine Ghosts exchanged glances, then each formed a hand seal.

Nine seals converged, forming a pattern like a massive guillotine.

At the center point, the seal flared, tearing open a curtain of sky.

From the heavens descended a colossal dragon-headed guillotine, hovering in the void.

End of Calamities flicked his finger.

The dragon-headed blade opened, and the raging thunder of the void poured into the space beyond it.

“This is all I can do,” he murmured. “The Ghost-God Heaven is not a place for you… Infernal Lord.”

He flicked his finger once more, the guillotine closed, and the Severed Head Path vanished.

“What about the remaining gods and ghosts?” asked one of the Nine, Ghost God Undying Marshal.

Though many had died, there were still survivors among the two clans.

“Kill part of the Spectral Ghost Race and warn the rest,” said End of Calamities. “As for the Primal God Race, from this day forth, they are erased from the Ghost-God Heaven.”

His words were calm, but the killing intent within them was unmistakable.

The extermination of the Primal God Race was already decided.

“As you command,” the Nine Ghosts answered in unison.

Beside them, Corpse Hook hesitated.

The others did not understand, but he knew more than they did, about Xu Zimo’s identity.

He finally stepped forward. “My lord, that man… is he truly dead?”

“He won’t die,” End of Calamities said softly.

“But under your rule, who could live?” Corpse Hook asked.

“Under normal circumstances, he wouldn’t. But his very existence is an anomaly,” said End of Calamities.

“Today’s matter ends here. The Ghost-God Heaven remains as before. Seal the Forbidden Lands.”

When the edicts descended, everything was erased.

At the far edge of the Ghost-God Heaven, the place of exile, lay the passage connected to the Godfiend Abyss Heaven.

The two heavens were linked, sharing their borders in the Infinite Void.

And there, drifting within that emptiness, a single leaf floated in silence.
