Chapter 2586 – Three Developments Shock the World

A branch of the Qilin Trading Company in the Spirit Firmament Divine Continent.

“Your Excellency Su, this jade slip records major recent developments in the God Domain. Please have a look.” An old man proffered a jade slip with both hands, then stepped to the side, head lowered. His bearing was meek and servile, as if he’d do anything Su Yi told him to do.

“No need to be polite. You should sit down too.” Su Yi gestured to a nearby chair.

The old man froze, hesitated, then took a seat. However, only half his butt was on the chair, and he still seemed reserved.

Su Yi said no more on the matter. He just casually started reading the slip’s contents.

During his days wandering the God Domain, he visited nearby branches of the Qilin Trading Company whenever he had the spare time. There, he’d use their information network to keep tabs on developments in the God Domain.

That’s exactly what he was doing now.

When he finished reading, Su Yi couldn’t help but exclaim, “So much happened recently?”

Three developments in particular had drawn Su Yi’s attention.

First, two weeks ago, Di E re-entered the world in the Ancient Nirvana Divine Continent’s Western Paradise Spirit Mountains. There, he invited the leaders of the God Domain’s top factions to a meeting, the Assembly of Seekers of the Dao.

There, Di E publicly announced his plans to join forces with several top factions to establish a powerful entity known as the New World Alliance.

Rumor had it that many long-secluded old-timers of the God Domain, as well as factions of unknown territories, had immediately decided to join up.

This development caused an enormous wave of uproar. The entire God Domain practically boiled over.

The New World Alliance!

The name alone made it obvious that their goal was to change this dark, turbulent world!

Factions both big and small had heeded their call, supporting the New World Alliance in their attempts to restore order to the world and end these dark, turbulent times as soon as possible.

But there were also those who predicted that the establishment of the New World Alliance likely implied that the chaos and bloodshed afflicting the world would soon reach its peak.

A ruin remained of each of the Ages of the Five Supremes, and each ruin was home to terrifying experts, like Celestial Venerate Zhou Ye of the Ruins of Supreme Emergence, or Sovereign Venerate Ling Ran of the Ruins of Supreme Simplicity.

The Ruins of Supreme Metamorphosis and Supreme Obscurity had similar experts.

It was just that Su Yi had never even considered the possibility that the ancient experts and orthodoxies of the ruins would choose to participate in the Jiuhua Dharma Assembly.

This was because Su Yi vividly recalled that Dao Venerate Lu Shi had connections in all five ruins. Thus, Su Yi had assumed that if they joined an alliance, it would be Di E’s New World Alliance.

Before this, the Central Divine Continent was a forbidden zone to all life, a place all people feared. There, even Master Gods faced certain death.

But now that there was hope of survival, everything had changed!

But Su Yi wasn’t the least bit interested in this. On the contrary, he sighed to himself.

“Not exactly well, but we’re not doing too badly,” the old man said with a bitter laugh. “According to the Qilin Race’s instructions, if anything happens to the trading company, we’re to go into hiding immediately. Otherwise, our enemies will destroy our branches, one by one.”

The Qilin Trading Company had bases all over the God Domain. That meant that if their enemies wanted to defeat them, they could rip their bases up by the roots, one by one.

That was why the Qilin Trading Company’s strategy was to call back their forces in advance and gather their strength in one place.

“If you need my help with anything, go ahead and contact me,” said Su Yi.
