When she first obtained the Diamond Sutra Body Technique, Chu Liangyu had scoffed at its Buddhist Sect-sounding name, but she had to admit its contents were extremely useful.

Chu Liangyu had modified it based on the original, but for the most part, she had kept its core structure.

It had nine Chapters in total. Among them, the application of the fist technique, the Taiyin Fist, had three stages, each taking up its own Chapter.

Then there was the mental method, which also had three stages, each occupying a Chapter.

Finally, there were the Step Technique and movement technique, which, like the others, were divided into three stages, each with its own Chapter.

And for each of these, whenever a section was completed, they had to use the herbal formula from the Body Technique to undergo Body Refining in a medicinal bath.

When Chu Liangyu modified it, she added some of her own insights and also communicated with the Heavenly Dao to remove some of the restrictions.

If either of those two things hadn’t been done, Beastification would have remained a pipe dream for the females.

Although it was troublesome, the benefits it brought were obvious.

Lost in her memories of past deeds, Chu Liangyu unknowingly spent a long time soaking in the tub.

Her thoughts didn’t return until the water had grown completely cold.

After a quick wipe-down, Chu Liangyu got dressed. She didn’t hurry back to bed but instead went to the kitchen, intending to fill her rumbling stomach.

Just as she was enjoying her meal, the somewhat familiar cry of a crane reached Chu Liangyu’s ears.

The sound was coming from the direction of the training grounds.

Without a second thought, Chu Liangyu shifted her focus to her clone over there.

"Female Master, I’m back!"

He Yushu was beaming. He hadn’t even caught his breath from his hasty travel before he continued, "Our squad brought back all 24 people we were looking for. They’re right behind us and will be at the tribe in a moment."

"Good. Your efficiency is high."

A proud look appeared on He Yushu’s face. He suddenly leaned closer to Chu Liangyu and said, "I put in a ton of effort this time, Female Master... Can I be rewarded by getting to live in your courtyard now?"

"My request is very simple. Won’t you consider it, Female Master?"

Chu Liangyu raised a hand and pushed the handsome, magnified face away from her before saying calmly, "Their bloodlines have all reverted to their ancestral state, but yours hasn’t yet. I can help you with that. So, how about you change your desired reward to this?"

He Yushu was stunned for a moment. He had no idea such a thing was even possible.

But he was only surprised; he felt nothing else. He wasn’t particularly interested in his bloodline reverting. Instead, his mind was still set on living in the same courtyard as Chu Liangyu.

"But I’d still rather stay with you, Female Master. I don’t want any bloodline reversion."

The temptation of bloodline reversion was immense for any Beastman, but watching He Yushu’s reaction, it seemed he truly didn’t care about it.

Chu Liangyu couldn’t help but give him a longer look, but she didn’t soften her stance. "Bloodline reversion is the only reward you can choose. Don’t even think about anything else."

He Yushu’s lively expression instantly changed, making him look like a wilted sunflower.

"Fine, then. But the residence Xiang Qiancheng arranged for me is too far from yours. I want to move to one that’s closer. That should be okay, right?"

"You are my Beast Husband. You have that much right, at least." Chu Liangyu reached out and patted his chest, her smiling tone carrying a hint of playful dominance.

It gave off a strong "as long as I’m here, I’ve got you covered" vibe.

He Yushu glanced at her hand resting on his chest. The corners of his mouth curved up unconsciously, and his mood brightened.
