Chapter 3937: Extra Hands

Rean and Roan dodged the ribbons, approaching the Golden Sphere from both sides. As they did that, their Light and Dark Elements accumulated, getting ready to use their strongest attack.

’Kawa Blade Domain!’

Kentucky knew that he had to support them, so he followed right behind, using the feathers created by his domain to intercept as many of those ribbons as possible.

Meanwhile, Celis could be seen slightly further back. His objective was the most crucial but also the simplest. He had to focus entirely on his Energy Draining Domain and be ready to use his Divine Energy Draining Prison if a good opportunity appeared.

*Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom...*

Amidst the explosions, Rean and Roan appeared, their Sword and Scythe brimming with Dark Red and Light Red Lighting Elements.

’Red Death and Life, Seventh Form, Crimson Sun and Moon Obliteration!

The twins attacked from two different locations, and the two waves of cleaving and slashing energies met at the Golden Sphere, destroying even the Golden Ribbons on their path!

*BOOMMM!!!*

The Golden Sphere’s outer shell of energy was blasted apart once again, and the energy quickly reached the core. This time, however, the Sphere was already using the Celestial Laws to shield the core, and the explosion effect was greatly diminished.

The core shone again, the Golden Energy rebuilt the Golden Sphere, and the ribbons filled the skies before raining down on the twins.

Both Rean and Roan were ready and retreated immediately. It was just like the last time when Roan used his Death Scythe Skill. Because of the powerful attack they used, the core reacted, releasing much more energy than usual in a single moment!

*Zush, zush, zush, zushg...*

Rean and Roan seemed to dance as they avoided the ribbons and the eyes on them. Roan was right again, though. The power of the Golden Sphere was still shared between the four members of the twins’ group. It’s just that with the extra release of energy, the ribbons got even more dangerous for a short moment.

*Vup, vup, vup!*

Rean, Roan, and Kentucky came out of the death zone, looking at the Golden Sphere. It was still coming after them, but the Golden Sphere’s size had gotten smaller than before the Sun and Moon Obliteration.

Rean breathed heavily, now fleeing from the Golden Sphere while taking some time to recover. "Holy shit... I was almost hit by those ribbons at least ten times!"

Roan didn’t care. "Shut up and focus on recovering. In ten seconds, we are going back in!"

[Hey, should I call Tanxan, Zangeshu, and Foliana? They can get here in an instant with their Spatial Gates.]

"No!" Rean was the one to answer. "They are also in the Space-Time Realm, but this thing is beyond their league. Maybe Foliana might be able to stay alive for a while with her Red Lightning Hawk bloodline, but she lacks the experience to deal with all of this for too long."

Roan agreed with him. "Indeed. They will only be a burden at the moment."

"No, wait!" Kentucky suddenly remembered something. "This thing seems to be targeting us, right? What if it ignores those three? We don’t have much time, so we could have at least Foliana testing the waters."

Rean and Roan looked at him, thinking about the idea. "Might be worth a try. Alright, Sister Orb, tell them to come, but only Foliana is to enter the Golden Light area to test it. Zangeshu and Tanxan are to stay outside until ordered to come in."

Zangeshu, Tanxan, and Foliana obviously already knew what was happening, but they hadn’t moved until Sister Orb told them so through the Werdlem Network. All three of them found some excuses to disappear for a moment, found a safe place to open a Spatial Gate, and came to the Vous Continent. It was just a single continent of distance, so a Spatial Gate obviously could cross it in an instant.

It all only took a few seconds, and those three were there already.

"Alright, I’m going in," said Foliana, looking at the Golden Area moving in their direction. They obviously had to open a Spatial Gate outside of it since the Spatial and Time Powers were sealed inside.

Zangeshu and Tanxan also had their plans. As Foliana rushed inside, thousands of runes began to come out of Zangeshu and Tanxan’s Pocket Dimensional Realms. They might not be that good at combat, but they can definitely make up for it with their Formations.

The twins and Kentucky didn’t stop, though. As Foliana made her way here, they once again gathered their strength and approached the Golden Sphere.

*Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom...*

However, this time...

*Kaboom!*

*Arrghhh!*

Kentucky was suddenly hit by one of the ribbons! His Feather Blades on his back were destroyed, his scales under them cracked and broke apart, and he ended up being sent flying like a comet in the opposite direction.

*Crash!*

His body hit the ground, creating a crater.

The Celestial Laws inside that Golden Energy then invaded his body, making it difficult to circulate his Sky Energy and activate Rean’s Instant Recovery Skill.

Did the Golden Sphere stop because of that? Of course not! The moment Kentucky hit the ground, the ribbons of energy rained down on him from all sides like they had been all the time. It’s just that Kentucky wasn’t moving now.

Rean and Roan appeared in the next instant, several Intent Weapons taking form before they attacked th ribbons.

Celis, too, didn’t stay put.

’Full Energy Repel!’

The ribbons Rean and Roan missed were intercepted by him. The Full Energy Repel was able to force any kind of energy backwards, creating a zone of nothing.

The few ribbons of energy that got past the twins entered Celis’s range. They lost speed and found it hard to keep their forms as the energy they were made of kept being pushed back.

*Ugh...*

Too bad that the level of those ribbons was truly high, and Celis immediately felt the impact on his Demon Core for trying to force them away. In the end, he wasn’t able to stop them all, and a few reached Kentucky, who was still trying to get up.

’Crimson Thunder Rend!’

Foliana arrived just in time!

Both her dual blades crackled with red lightning as she swung them outward in a crossing arc. The air split with a booming shockwave, sending a jagged X of crimson energy that detonated on impact with the ribbons.

*Kabrum!*

Kentucky sighed in relief, opening his wings while driving his Dark Element to get rid of the Celestial Laws invading his body.

*Flap!*

Finally, Kentucky took flight, albeit with great difficulty.

’Foliana,’ Roan quickly ordered. ’Grab Kentucky and help him fly to safety!’

’Alright!’ Foliana didn’t hesitate; she arrived by Kentucky’s side and used her Divine Energy to pull him with her.

’Lightning Flash!’

She then used her own movement technique, flashing away in a streak of red lightning.

Roan paid attention to the Golden Sphere and was quite satisfied. ’Kentucky was right. The Golden Sphere isn’t paying attention to Foliana. It still has its attention divided among the four of us. It’s as if it didn’t even notice Folian’s intervention at all.’

’Good!’ Rean was obviously happy to hear that. ’We can use that in our favor.’
