Volume 10. Chapter 190: She Was Serious! (Chapter 1091)
Chapter 190: She Was Serious!
I was still in shock, so those two are merely alone right now. My wife… didn’t seem to be interested in Pelia until now, which is why I was certain that… she’d reject her offer. Of course, Celia wouldn’t kill Pelia; rather, my dearest would do something else, likely going with a non-violent conclusion to this little arc.
Instead, Celia accepted the woman’s surrender offer, despite how bad she reacted to Pelia’s pleading from earlier. Don’t tell me that my wife is wifing Pelia… simply because there is a ‘lia’ in her name. She… isn’t that cheeky, right?…
Pelia: “Celia, do you mean that… I am to be your slave wife?” She asked with an unsure tone, a worried expression on her face.
Celia: “Slave? Oh, sorry; I forgot about that part of your offer. It seems that my brain has already blocked out those bad memories…” She answered with an awkward giggle.
Pelia: “Wait… then, you’re just going to let me go, without any punishment or consequences at all? That isn’t fair, and is an insult to both of us, Celia.” She replied with a stern tone, like she wasn’t the one who lost this battle.
Celia: “Hm? Do you find it insulting… that I’ve offered you my hand in marriage, Pelia? Of course, I won’t force you to do that, nor are there any punishments for you. Those in my group, let alone people in my direct family, are always treated well, and forgiven.” She asked in reply with a hurt tone and expression.
Pelia: “( ? _ ? )”
S-shit! Even though she isn’t a destined lover… Celia is still willing to let Pelia into her harem. Damn, damn them; the Devil and God! Those two (or, at the very least, the Devil did), they guessed that Pelia would end up as one of Celia’s wives.
With ease, she saw something that I didn’t see or think would happen… how frustrating!!! Maybe I should just cut this section out from my narration, to save face? No, that’d just end up as a pitfall for someone to get me with in the future.
Pelia: “Can I ask… why you’re okay with me not getting punished, and even becoming your spouse? It makes no sense, and Higher Beings are absurdly illogical by default; I now find you to be a… bit crazy.” She expressed with a deep, deep confusion, doing a thinking pose.
Celia: “God and the Devil don’t care about what you did, as I power Leveled those two up, gave them a stockpile of Soul Crystals, and reverted every negative thing that happened. Vulely wasn’t injured, I’ve seen no reports of the counterfeits killing people; and you gave up without a fight.” She explained, looking at Pelia like she was the crazy one, not Celia.
Pelia: “…So, we’re wives now?” She replied with a head tilt, after five minutes of silence.
Celia: “If that is what you want, yes. Our estate has more than enough room for you, and your wives, Pelia.” She answered with a simple nod.
Pelia: “( ’-’ ~)”
