Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!

Volume 10. Chapter 183: The Raiding! (Chapter 1084)

Chapter 183: The Raiding!

Pelia: “…”

Clang!

Celia, now ready to rescue me, is currently slashing away at the city’s Divinity barrier. Each strike seemed to shake Heaven itself, those in the city feeling as if we were getting bombed over and over again.

Unlike the barrier that protected Heaven from outside, which my wife easily cut open; this one was far more concentrated and stronger. The slashes left marks upon it, so it wouldn’t be long until she breaks through. Even with Pelia focusing on reinforcing the barrier with her Divinity, buying herself some time.

Pelia: “W-why?” She expressed with grand confusion.

Vulely: “Why what?” I replied with a head tilt.

Pelia: “I’ve seen her Stats… How come Celia isn’t just… breaking through instantly? She has the power to do that.” She asked with a serious tone, focus still mostly on protecting the breaking barrier.

Slash!

Vulely: “That’s…” I was cut off.

Pelia: “I see. So the woman is playing with me, huh?” She incorrectly assumed with a scoff.

Vulely: “Nope, Celia isn’t the type to do that.” I denied with a confident tone.

Pelia: “T-then… why do this so slowly? What would be the point, if not to merely humiliate and torture me before my death?” She asked with a raised eyebrow.

Vulely: “If my wife isn’t careful, she could easily and accidentally kill everyone within the city. Their Souls rendered to nothing, cutting off their existences entirely.” I nonchalantly answered without a hint of a lie within my tone or words.

Celia’s power… could be a curse if she wasn’t so cautious and moral. A lesser Higher Being would… go insane with power, or be too scared to ever be worth a damn. Which is why we were so against Xinolily being power Leveled so much.

Thankfully, Xinolily was already a very ancient being, so it wasn’t a problem. It is, frankly, why none have ever attempted to band together and stop my wife’s ascension. After all, that woman is far more moral than most; as you very well know by now.

Pelia: “Impossible. Those of Heaven are… already dead, in Soul form. I’m an invader, so I can die. Only those that hold some control over the afterlife… can harm the Souls here.” She expressed with a disbelieving tone, doing a thinking pose.

Vulely: “Celia is married to a Death Goddess. She even has the dagger with her at all times.” I informed with a giggle.

Pelia: “…”

With her ties to Nia, my wife can kill those of Heaven. As such, Pelia could only close her eyes; feeling immense regret over going against Celia like this. Even when her wife is taken, Celia stayed calm, not endangering others to save said wife.

Pelia knew that, if she were in Celia’s shoes at this moment; she’d go on a rampage, killing anyone that got in the way, all to save one of her wives. That is just how Higher Beings think.

Pelia: “Vulely, I… Fuck!” She exclaimed in deep, deep frustration, looking down at me; as… I (my physical body) was no longer present, her captive.
