Volume 10. Chapter 172: Her Status, And Other Things. (Chapter 1073)
Chapter 172: Her Status, And Other Things.
Looking at Xinolily’s Status is… quite a bit interesting. Despite clearly being a mage build, Lily’s Stats are still stupidly high. Only her Hunger is the same as Celia’s, though.
Guanyu’s power isn’t really quantifiable, but Xinolily is definitely not stronger than her. Of course, we don’t know if Guanyu and Celia are equal in power, and never will. Neither of them truly care about showing off their strength in the first place, you see.
Xinolily: “Mom, this is so heartbreaking…” She said with a sad tone.
Celia: “What is? Lily, now that you’ve completed all your Evolutions; you don’t have to care about Levels, or the System really at all.” She replied with a confused expression.
Xinolily: “I spent hundreds of millions of years, if not billions upon billions of years… solely gaining power. Meanwhile, you gave me far more strength… all within far less than a single year.” She explained with a deadpan tone.
Celia: “…”
The rest of our group were deeply content with merely gaining Levels every few hundred years, so I do get why Xinolily is so broken over this. Normally, no Higher Being would ever give such power and cheats away so easily; especially not for completely free, as Celia has done.
Without any effort on her own, our daughter has absolutely become the third-strongest being in existence. Luckily, Xinolily, regardless of what her Status states, is very old and wise; so the girl should be able to handle the responsibility of said power.
Vulely: “Enough moping around, Lily. Tell me, why is Celia the only one with a Blood Bond with you? Is my… the blood of your other mothers, and our love… not enough?” I asked with a serious tone, my arms crossed.
Xinolily: “E-eh? How should I know?… I didn’t mark her on purpose.” She replied with a pout.
Celia: “Really? I assumed that you did control that unique feature, and that you just hadn’t warmed up to my wives yet.” She added with a confused thinking pose.
Xinolily: “Nope~! I have no say in whom I make a Blood Bond Wi…” She was cut off.
Runeth: “She does, Xinolily just isn’t aware that she can do so. Lily simply, on accident, created a Blood Bond with Celia; not realizing that it was something that she directly did. My sister is such a silly girl~!” She exclaimed with pure cheekiness, then vanishing just as quickly as she appeared.
Xinolily, Celia, and Vulely: “(- _ -)”
A Month Later!
Fortunately, Runeth was correct in what she said back then. Once Lily figured this out, she was able to make Blood Bonds with all of her mothers. With Celia’s sizable harem, this did take a while. Wait, what exactly does a Blood Bond even do for… anyone involved? I asked this question to my dear, System loving daughter.
Runeth: “Hm? Oh, nothing at the moment. It’s a visual thing, with no effects on Xinolily nor those she has Blood Bonds with. I don’t think that I’ll ever bother to add anything to it, either.” She nonchalantly answered with a yawn, tired from Shelba’s endless, “We must defy our biology!” energy.
Vulely: “…”
