Volume 10. Chapter 158: Oddly Fishy Reunion… (Chapter 1059)
Chapter 158: Oddly Fishy Reunion...
Ah, I see, I see… For a Mortal, seeing something like a normal shark, or even a rare Great White appearing near the beach is… of course, shocking, and something to yelp about. Shelba is a Higher Being now, though.
For comparison: Shelba, or any of us, shouldn’t really be afraid of a common, large spider; only getting spooked by highrise sized spiders. And considering the size of this shark, rivaling a Megalodon, if not bigger, does make sense for Shelba to scream a bit over seeing it.
Xinobouk: “Haha, finally! I’ve reached the peak, no one else of my kind has ever made it to Home! They just needed to be a large water source here first… Now I can relax and… Wait…” He happily expressed, voice only heard by the shark itself.
Everyone: “…”
Xinobouk: “…” “No wai! Is that Celia?! And… let alone making it to Home before me, how is she so much more powerful than the last time I saw her?… I’m so fucked!!!” He screamed in his mind, thoughts racing, fear of death filling Xinobouk’s entire being.
Celia, of course, quickly figured out who this overly large fish was, and had no intentions of killing it. Though, whatever great sin that it’d be if Celia did slay Xinobouk, there is literally no one in existence that could actually punish her for it.
Fortunately for the sharky-boy, my wife wasn’t very keen on killing people that she’s familiar with, and this extends to Xinobouk. Maybe this, his arrival, is why there wasn’t large bodies of water in Home until Celia made one? Regardless, the others weren’t so… merciful.
Slash!
Guanyu: “Dear, why have you blocked my strike? I used a lot of strength… Are you hurt, Celia?” She asked with a deeply regretful and concerned tone.
Celia: “I’m fine, my sword took most of your power. Do you want to see my Status for proof, Guanyu?” She replied with a coaxing tone, tossing her (now completely broken) sword away like it was trash, it quickly sinking deep into the ocean.
Guanyu: “…”
Xinobouk: “…” “This woman is terrifying, and somehow… stronger than Celia!? Rather than me just dying, that slash of energy, whatever it was… would have erased my very Soul as well…” He exclaimed with an already defeated tone, now super regretting ever bothering to reach Home in the first place.
This place, the estate, all of Home, Guanyu considered to be her domain, hers. As such, that attack was truly meant to destroy Xinobouk in many more ways than merely ending his life.
Celia: “Everyone, this is… well, not a friend; but I do know him. Xinobouk, why have you come here to Home? Actually… how did you even get access to Home?” She asked with a curious tone, now standing on the water, talking to the large shark casually.
Xinobouk: “I…” He needed more time to come up with a reply that’ll prevent his death, a single word being the only thing he could get out right now.
The daughters went back to playing, confident that their mother will handle this situation with ease. Guanyu, the first attacker, was still upset with herself for almost hurting her wife again. The other wives, me included… were currently enjoying the view of Celia’s body, no longer obscured by the water.
