Celia: After Dying in the Apocalypse, I Live Once Again!

Volume 10. Chapter 155: Nonchalantly, She Exposed Her Greatest Secret! (Chapter 1056)

Chapter 155: Nonchalantly, She Exposed Her Greatest Secret!

Vulely: “Celia, you aren’t the type to… think that you’re above others. Why are you so certain that no one else could cook at your level?” I asked with a deeply curious tone.

Celia: “Hm? I don’t.” She denied with an innocent head tilt.

Vulely: “…”

Guanyu: “You mean to say that… only us wives aren’t capable? How so, Celia?” She added with a thinking pose.

Truthfully, we were all shocked by what our wife said. Celia hasn’t ever, not once, claimed that others couldn’t do as she does, with enough work on their part. This is another reason why she is such an effective, perfect mother; a parent whose daughters look up to immensely.

Even going far, faaaar back in time; I can count on one hand how many times Celia’s boasted about her power. Anyone else, even her wives, would be constantly asking for, and demanding, praise if they had Celia’s Status. Hell, most of those times were from the beginning, Celia’s second youth.

Celia: “To not answer a question with another question; after we settled down in Home, my food got better, right?” She asked in reply with a knowing tone.

Xinyi: “I wouldn’t know, unfortunately.” She said with a shrug, wanting to feel included in the conversation.

Tia: “Yes, it definitely did; somehow even more irresistible tasting and filling than before. I had assumed that it was… merely because we shifted to a relaxed existence; allowing you to improve, Celia.” She was the one to answer, now confused.

At her answer, we were all shocked even more, realizing that Tia was absolutely right. None of us questioned why Celia’s cooking, seemingly, by Magic, improved to a whole new level after just a year of living in Home.

Could it be the environment, something from here that Celia adds to the food? No, that can’t be it. If it was, then anyone could do that; cook meals like her. It isn’t Soul Crystals either, as we would have noticed getting Levels from each meal… Surely, the truth of the matter… is simple, and not insane, like things revolving around Celia typically end up being… right?…

Guanyu: “Celia, please answer my question now. I am more than curious of what you’ve been secretly doing behind my back. And, who else can do this special method?” She expressed with a serious tone and expression; but, as an experienced woman, I could tell that the Cultivator wasn’t upset, and this is just her “I’m going to do nice things to you in bed later.” look and voice.

Celia: “Nemu, Zelia, and Eternanel can, eventually, reach my level of cooking. Though, Zelia said that she had forgotten all her cooking knowledge the last time I asked her about it… many years ago.” She quickly answered, red creeping up on her face, clearly noticing her wife’s intentions for later.

Everyone besides the Cultivator: “…”

Guanyu: “…Pure Mana, is it?” She assumed with a sigh, rubbing her head a bit.

Celia: “Yep! I’ve been apparently, by accident, putting Pure Mana into the meals I make. Which is why, even at the start, including when I was in that apocalypse, my food was so good. Since I figured that out, I’ve been able to put the correct amounts of Pure Mana into dishes. It works very similar to seasoning, you see!” She explained with a bright smile and happy tone; like she wasn’t admitting that she, in a way, has been feeding us… herself for… years now.

Does this make us all cannibals? Even the daughters and friends, literally everyone that Celia has given food to?… Ah, my head…
