This was an enormous domain.

Among the myriad domains of the Great Stellar Chiliocosm, it was one of the largest domains.

But more important was its location.

Its location in the Great Stellar Chiliocosm was so special that when Tang Jie first got his hands on the star compass and looked up its location, he was given a scare.

It was located in the very center of the universe!

Yes, it was located in the center of the Great Stellar Chiliocosm.

Tang Jie had always believed that the Vast Wilderness Continent was at the center of the chiliocosm, but when Tang Jie got his hands on the star compass, he realized that he was wrong. The Vast Wilderness Continent was actually some distance from the center. If one compared the chiliocosm to a go or chess board, then the Gigantes Domain was at the very center while the Vast Wilderness Continent was just one piece away.

They were neighbors!

Thus, it wasn’t entirely incorrect to say that the Vast Wilderness Continent was at the center of the universe—it was only off by a little.

After flying for another eighty days, the Rosecloud Domain finally neared the Gigantes Domain.

From close up, it appeared as a giant orb filling the heavens.

Gray storms dense with corrosive energy swept over the orb, obscuring the surface.

Starsnatch Pagoda had already sent a message asking if they needed to get any closer.

After some thought, Tang Jie said, “Halt the advance. Let’s first investigate what’s going on in the Gigantes Domain.”

With Tang Jie’s order, a shuttle squadron took off. Not long afterward, only a single shuttle flew back, the panicked voice of a cultivator coming from it: “Demons! It’s demons! They’re attacking the Gigantes Domain!”

Tang Jie raised an eyebrow. “What’s the situation?”

The cultivator stammered out his report.

Their luck had been poor, as right after getting through the Astral Wind region, they had appeared over demon territory. They had come under attack by demons the moment they appeared and had to hastily retreat. They knew nothing about the actual situation within the domain.

Tang Jie didn’t punish him for this. After some thought, he said, “If that’s the case, I must request several Elders to go.”

Four Immortals were dispatched to investigate the enemy, though they entered from a different location than the shuttle squadron.

They were gone for three days.

After three days, only three returned, one of them having lost their life.

The Hall of Divine Conference.

Tang Jie sat on his sky throne.

“In other words, the Gigantes Domain has been completely occupied?” Tang Jie calmly asked.

“Domain Lord, the demon faction attacking the Gigantes Domain is particularly strong. In lower-level demons alone, there were nearly one billion. When we four ventured in, we found that the demons controlled everything, and despite many tough battles, we could not find any territory controlled by humans. Later on, we saved someone from the demons and learned that the Gigantes had been utterly routed, and the remaining Gigantes had gathered at the Cavespace Mountains, using the natural terrain there to hold on. But not long after, the demons attacked again, and we were unable to save him,” an elder said. This person was Reverend Floating Cloud, a native Immortal of the Rosecloud Domain. He was not from the seven major sects, but was the sect master of the Flowing Cloud Sect.

Tang Jie asked, “What sort of natural terrain do the Cavespace Mountains have?”

Another elder said, “The Cavespace Mountains are located in the capital of the Gigantes Domain. According to the Gigantes we saved, it is the most dangerous place in the entire domain, covered in countless spatial fissures, which cause all sorts of bizarre phenomena. No matter how powerful you are, once you enter the Cavespace Mountains, you will have to deal with the danger of being ground to death by spatial storms. The Gigantes ancestor established their capital there precisely because of these natural barriers. Considering that there is also a formation backing it, even a Boundless Gold Immortal could be obliterated within it.”

“Spatial storms…” Tang Jie muttered.

He raised his head. “Do you know where the Cavespace Mountains are?”

Reverend Floating Cloud shook his head in embarrassment. “Your incompetent subordinate was not able to find this out.”

“It’s fine. In that situation, it would have been difficult for you to do much better. This time, I’ll be going personally,” Tang Jie said, standing up.

Everyone was aghast. “Domain Lord, you mustn’t! You are far too important to risk yourself. Down below is the world of the demons. If you go in, you must…”

Tang Jie cut them off with a raise of his hand. “There’s no point in trying to stop me. You have your battles, and I have mine. I need to go somewhere the rest of you can’t, so I have to go alone.”

Tang Jie stepped out of the Hall of Divine Conference.

He went to Starsnatch Pagoda, explained things to Xu Miaoran and Yun Tianlan, and then headed straight to the Gigantes Domain.

He elegantly strode through the void as if it was his own backyard. Each of his steps greatly diminished the distance between him and the Gigantes Domain, and he soon arrived. Without stopping, he strode into its corrosive winds, which dissipated before they could even get close to his body. Just like that, he passed through the Astral Winds and arrived in the skies of the Gigantes Domain.

He could sense the thick demonic energy down below.

The entire Gigantes Domain was engulfed in demonic energy.

This stench of decay made Tang Jie frown. “Such concentrated energy.”

He had never seen such intense demonic energy before, far exceeding Libido’s.

This was an Archdemon Lord many times stronger than Libido!

Tang Jie didn’t know who it was, but he wasn’t scared of them.

In the distance, a squad of demons flew over, seemingly having discovered Tang Jie’s “intrusion”. Brazenly screeching, they attacked.

Tang Jie grimaced upon seeing these demons, and he began to exude his aura.

If these were denizens of the positive plane, Tang Jie’s aura alone would have been enough to crush them. However, demons were innately immune to aura attacks, so his aura had no effect on their souls. But a moment later, his aura took on physical form, surging out like a river. A moment later, the demons were all swept away, wiped from existence, leaving only a single demon standing. That river of energy that had surged past had left him completely unarmed. But when the demon saw his companions killed so thoroughly that they hadn’t even left behind corpses, he went limp from fear.

This demon naturally wasn’t strong enough to survive. Tang Jie had simply left a survivor.

With a thought, Tang Jie pulled the demon to his side.

Tang Jie asked, “Where are the Cavespace Mountains?”

The demon tried to resist, but Tang Jie instantly focused his eyes, injecting countless nightmares into the demon’s mind. While demons were brave and didn’t fear death, this wasn’t the same as the immunity they had against aura. In certain circumstances, they would still feel fear and even want to escape. This was why Libido’s army had collapsed. And in the present, how could this mere demon resist the pressure of Tang Jie’s Divine Soul? He immediately shouted, “I’ll tell you! I’ll tell you! It’s in that direction, the only place we haven’t conquered yet!”

“Who’s your Archdemon Lord?”

“Archdemon Lord Nine Disasters!”

“It’s him?” Tang Jie was taken aback.

Back in the Nine Palace Illusion Formation, Tang Jie had witnessed Nine Disasters attacking the Gigantes Domain. He hadn’t expected that this devil would once again attack the Gigantes Domain.

“That old baldy still has his heart set on the Gigantes Domain? Does the Gigantes Domain really hold some kind of secret? And what is its connection to the Martial Lord?” Tang Jie muttered. He threw aside the demon, who exploded with a bang.

Tang Jie flew off in the direction the demon had indicated.

Of course, other demons tried to capture Tang Jie along the way, and Tang Jie simply killed them all. Although the demons also dispatched devil chiefs, these were just as easily taken down. By the end, the demons had dispatched several Demon Lords and devil chiefs, together with a whole army of demons, and only then did Tang Jie hastily take his leave. It wasn’t because he was afraid, but because he was still a newcomer and had yet to develop a connection with the Gigantes Domain’s core, so he couldn’t exhibit the full power of a Boundless Gold Immortal.

As for the Nine Disaster Fiend Monk, he estimated on the strength of his faction that this was also a Boundless-level Archdemon Lord. This Demon Lord had arrived before him, so if they ran into each other, the outcome would be hard to predict, and that wasn’t even considering all his subordinates.

His first priority was to get to the Cavespace Mountains.

The Gigantes Domain was so vast that it was actually a little larger than the current Rosecloud Domain, and Tang Jie ended up flying for nearly a month. In these twenty-some days, Tang Jie saw nothing but demons. This was now a world of demons, and all that remained of the Gigantes was their corpses.

The Gigantes had tall and muscular bodies, all of them being extremely powerful body cultivators. But in the face of these savage demons, they had all ultimately died on the battlefield. Each Gigantes corpse was surrounded by demon corpses, ranging from a few to hundreds, but this could not change the fact that the Gigantes had slowly been forced to give ground. Tang Jie even saw the corpses of demonized Gigantes—the corrupting powers of the Primordial Fog Domain were always the greatest fear of the positive plane.

When Tang Jie arrived at a valley, he saw a most horrifying sight.

The valley was almost entirely full of corpses.

All of them were Gigantes.

Their eyes were open and their arms raised as if they were protesting to the heavens, Why do demons have to exist?

Tang Jie remained here for a long time before finally taking his leave.

Not long after he left, a lotus platform silently appeared above the valley.

Nine petals bloomed from the lotus. The Nine Disaster Fiend Monk was seated upon it, a demonic halo spinning behind his head, his face solemn and austere.

As he looked around, he suddenly laughed, “He was here, and he was very angry.”
