The other nine Venom Maws saw the confrontation. They didn't expect one of them to take the lead already. They ignored the Red Mark Warriors bothering them.

They leapt towards the target. Their goal was to eliminate the target first, not to wipe out the other Red Mark Warriors.

One after another, the Venom Maws rose from the ground. They soared over 50 feet into the sky.

Their sudden jump caused a shock force that spread through the surroundings. In the blink of an eye, the Red Mark Warriors were hit by the force.

Their bodies flew backward before crashing to the ground. Everyone was injured. A few of them hit their heads and passed out on the ground.

But those who remained conscious watched the sky. They saw the massive creatures moving in one direction, about to land on the ground.

When they looked ahead, they saw one person standing with dark purple lightning dancing around him.

How could they forget that silhouette? Everyone recognized the person. The person was none other than Zack Lockwood.

Everyone came to the realization that foreign creatures were targeting Zack Lockwood. He had won the battle single-handedly for them.

This was going to be his third battlefield. The foreign creatures must have wanted to eliminate him first.

"Purple Lightning Phantom!"

I used the movement method again to evade the attacks. The other Venom Maws were coming towards me. I moved further backward.

In the blink of an eye, the other nine Venom Maws landed on the ground. Their landing caused massive craters and a powerful shock force.

It spread across the place. Soon, the area was covered in sand and debris.

On the other hand, I braced against the impact while running. The Venom Maws were looking at their target trying to escape them.

They had surrounded Zack Lockwood from all directions.

"Don't try to get away. It's useless. Their attacks will reach you. Try to hurt them with your lightning power. If possible, use the shock force power as well," the ancient spirit's voice echoed.

Hearing that, my eyes flashed with understanding.

I stopped moving. I was in the middle of the battlefield. My perception covered everything. Seeing that the elite creatures had surrounded me, I understood I could not escape the attack.

It was better to confront them. I began to circulate the shock force power along with the dark purple lightning force.

I charged the black sword with two different forces. The purple lightning force and shock force power were fused.

One after another, the black tongues shot toward him.

Jeremy Night spotted the attacks with the help of perception. Before the attacks could touch him, he started swinging the broadsword.

The sword strike came in contact with the first black tongue.

The Venom Maws let out a weird sound. They were hurt by the attack.

Dust and smoke covered the place. In the blink of an eye, I had made contact with all ten tongues shot at me.

When the aftermath settled, I saw the picture clearly again. Charred smoke was rising from the black tongues of the Venom Maws.

The poison glands of their tongues must have been destroyed. I saw that all nine Venom Maws were quite disoriented from the pain, except for one.

The first Venom Maw had largely recovered, because I hadn't used the shock force power against it.

The dark purple lightning arcs were aiding my speed. In a zigzag manner, my body drew closer to the first Venom Maw.

The other creatures were still disoriented. In a flash, I closed in on the creature and entered attack range.

Dark purple lightning and golden-silver shock force mixed together, forming a ball at the tip of my index finger.

When I reached attack range, I fired the shot at the creature.

A powerful beam released from my finger. The power beam shot straight across. In a flash, the beam struck the body of the massive venom creature.

A loud detonation occurred. The shock force and the purple lightning power caused severe damage to its body. The skin and flesh were torn apart.

The two destructive powers penetrated inside its body.

Black blood gushed forth from the wound. It landed on the ground like a torrent of water. The dark blood stained the ground.

The Venom Maw creature let out a piercing shriek. It was severely hurt this time. Blood leaked out nonstop, and the lightning power had damaged its internal organs as well.

"It hurts the creature. You can continue attacking with the finger beam," the ancient spirit's voice said.

Hearing that, I decided to attack continuously.
