Chapter 1075 1075: Cheerful Return.
Shi Lang finished dealing with the Harpel race and then he came back home with a calm expression on his face. He found that Shi Ting and Amelia had bonded over with each other. He smiled looking at them before he went to sit on the couch and began to watch the cartoons again.
The general council replied very quickly and thanked him for his help. They had rewarded a few quotas to the people of the Shi Family and a first class merit. Shi Lang was now the Federal Marshal, even if he retired he would stay in command.
However, Shi Lang didn’t care, all he wanted was a steady development, and get as many cultivators to the immortal realm as possible. Of course, it would not be an easy thing to do, but this was the only plan they had.
The young man took a deep breath as he said, “Amy, we will be leaving in a few days.”
The lady looked at him and said, “Shall we go back to the Metro city and buy out all the snacks that you want?”
Shi Lang smiled widely and shook his head as he replied, “No, this time, we would like to buy machines and recipes. They can exchange for cultivation merit points that would allow them to learn new cultivation techniques, or they can ask for guidance in different departments, I will send my daughters.”
Amelia sighed and said, “Petty.”
She then stood up and left the place to arrange for all these things. Shi Ting looked at Shi Lang and said, “I really had no idea that you could be so lazy.”
The man narrowed his eyes and said, “Nagger.”
Shi Ting narrowed her gaze and then began a war of teasing began.
…
One week passed very quickly, Shi Lang stood before the graves of his family members with his sister and wife. His three adopted daughters have just finished offering incense and asking for blessings. The young man said, “Ting, I will wait for you to come there.”
Shi Ting nodded and replied, “I will try my best, and in the meantime I will monitor the progress of the situation in the federation as well. If needed, I will invoke your clones or the spiritual imprints.”
Shi Lang nodded, and said, “Don’t bring out me from the get go. All the people who came here have left behind their imprints in secret locations and only the Shi Family has the power to override their behaviors. I hope you don’t need it.”
Shi Ting smiled and replied, “I hope for the same as well.”
The siblings hugged, and Shi Lang really didn’t wish to let go of his little sister but he knew that time wouldn’t stop for him, the one who had mastered the Dao of Time.
Shi Lang sighed and said, “See you soon.”
Then he pecked her forehead gently and turned around to leave and say goodbye to the youngsters. Amelia smiled at this and hugged Shi Ting, who was also trying to hold back her tears, and said, “Don’t worry, all of the Shi Family is same. Either you won’t show grief, or if you do, it would be so loud that it would cause the heavens to tear.”
Shi Ting couldn’t help but chuckle at this and said, “Yes, yes, I am sure that is the truth, now go, everyone can see me.”
Amelia chuckled and pecked the cheek of her sister-in-law, who returned the gesture and the young ladies came over to bow to her, to which Shi Ting hugged them all one time and then said, “Look after him well, stay strong.”
The girls nodded and then Shi Lang opened the space tunnel and they left. He did this to make sure that their departure does not gain unnecessary attention from the unwanted elements. They travelled through the void and moved at a high speed.
However, when they reached the spot where the gateway lied, Shi Lang found the Ace Division surrounding the region. He sighed and used his communicator to deliver a message, “Pull back by hundred spatial units or you might get dragged in the spatial draft and reduce to dust. Duffers.”
The people moved their ships back as they were commanded. Then Shi Lang and the rest made a seal with their hands. The immortal realm gateway reacted to the seal and then a wormhole appeared and sucked the people inside, and just like that, Shi Lang and the rest had gone back to the Immortal Realm.
Shi Ting received a message from the Ace Division. Shi Lang had informed them to report to her, not because she was family but because she was a high ranking officer in the federal military and was totally capable of carrying on to the legacy of the Shi Family.
…
Shi Lang and the rest appeared at the gateway of the immortal realm. They moved forward and greeted the gatekeeper who said, “You have used one and only opportunity to descend and learn, I hope you don’t come near the gateway or I would have to slay you.”
Shi Lang was overcome with a sense of dread for a moment, but then he nodded and clasped his fist towards the old man and said, “Understood, Senior.”
That said, he led the people outside the ascension hall, and they flew towards the Asura Hall territory. Yu Xeidi frowned and asked, “Why are you silent, Baba?”
Shi Lang smiled and replied, “I am just thinking about the apex of cultivation.”
The people trained their ears to hear what he had to say, and Shi Lang answered the expectant listeners, “That old senior, he was able to suppress me with just a glance. I am a Dao Emperor, yet he could handle me akin to handling a child. Imagine how strong he must be?”
His words caused the rest of the people to be shocked, they didn’t expect that Shi Lang would say something like this. However, if what he said was true, then it was possible that the limit of the cultivation realms lay way ahead of the Dao Emperor or Sage realm.
They all gulped and Hao Mei asked, “Baba, I learned that all the ten thousand immortal races in the Immortal Plain live in different plains. Doesn’t that mean, they all have a senior from their race, looking after the ascension hall? Those elders might be as strong as the elder here, right?”
Shi Lang replied, “Yes, it is possible that the elders in those plains as this strong. Hmm, seems like, we have found a great point. In the future, if we are every needed to move through the plains of different races, make sure that the ascension hall is not targeted even remotely.”
Yu Xeidi nodded and said, “Eldest Sister should be informed about this and also the news from Beacon X.”
Shi Lang nodded and said, “Don’t worry, I will tell her as soon as we get home.”
They continued flying through the void and after a couple of hours the reached the destination. However they were facing a completely different landscape. Shi Lang was surprised, he scanned the place and found that this was still the Asura hall, but the surroundings had changed from desolate barren land to green and lush prairies.
Shi Lang exchanged glances with Amelia and they carefully approached the building in the center. The guards saw them and greeted Shi Lang and Amelia on their knees. Shi Lang nodded and moved in to see Shi Tao standing in the square as she asked, “I swear I will not punish anyone just confess, who did this?”
There were ten young men and women standing before her. They were all looking down at the ground. Hao Mei and the rest of the disciples saw this scene and they wondered what was going on. Amelia stepped forward and said, “Can you tell me what is going on here? Given the time flow, we must have been gone for no more than an hour. What is going on outside the hall?”
Shi Tao and the rest looked her as they froze. Shi Lang only looked at the ten disciples with a smile and asked, “Come on, be honest, I will not punish anybody who did this. On the contrary, I would be rewarding you guys. As I really like the change.”
A couple of children looked at each other and then one of them said, “Hall master, I was practicing a skill and it went out of limit. This is what happened.”
Shi Lang pretended to scratch his non existent beard and replied, “Good, keep on practicing the skill. You will go far in the future.*
The disciple bowed to Shi Lang and the terran said, “Who discovered this move?”
One of the disciples replied, “It is me, Xu Jun, Hall master.”
Shi Lang beckoned the boy over, and said to Shi Tao, send the rest for advanced training in the Tartarus.”
The disciples dreaded, while the elders chuckled. Shi Lang looked at them and said, “Don’t worry, Xiao Jun will join you all shortly.”
Xu Jun’s face turned pale and then his shoulders dropped.
