Shi Lang and Amelia made trips to many empires who wished to be allied to the Federation and they observed these parties. Although everyone wanted to take advantage of the other person, but they could not stand the long game that Shi Lang and Amelia were ready to play.

They dissolved seventy percent of alliances and a lot of them took some forceful confrontation. One of them was not willing to give up at any cost, and the King even threatened saying that he would bring his people together and capture Beacon X and then torture the Shi Family.

Well, Shi Lang cast a shura illusion on the King, and his people, and when the King woke up he dared Shi Lang to do the same as it was all an illusion. Well, the shura flayed the entire royal family and loyalist lobby alive in front of the entire capital. The scene made the civilians defecate in their spots.

Then Shi Lang issued an ultimatum to the Galactic Council. Yes, the body that governed everything, he gave a notice to the big players to mind their own business or he would take out all their forces within a week. The people thought that he was talking big.

But then a couple of moons were slashed into two. The people who ruled the big powers were shocked and they didn’t expect something like this to happen. What shocked them even more was that the slash didn’t kill anyone. It was as if it avoided the lives of the people who were stationed their with precision control.

Shi Lang replied, “This was a threat, next time, I will act and your world will vanish. Your military prowess means nothing to me. So mind your business and don’t linger in the Federal business.”

That was it, the galactic council calmed down and things settled. Amelia had given orders to the government and the special divisions. After the purge the people feared Shi Lang would come and kill them all if they were not doing their jobs honestly. However, that was only the initial situation.

Shi Lang had left behind Dao Swords and they all had a strand of his spiritual consciousness, and Raksha’s spirit attached to them. The young man took a deep breath as he sat under the pavilion watching the beautiful sun setting on the horizon. Amelia was sitting next to him with a smile on her face as she said, “Things are working fine now. We should leave, the deadline is coming near.”

Shi Lang nodded and replied, “I agree, but we need to leave counter measures or the human race would not survive the coming time before the ranking tournament even begins. I cannot leave things like they were.”

Amelia nodded and said, “Don’t worry, I had Xiao Yu and Xiao Mei handle these counter measures. They have manufactured weapons, pills and Xiao Meng have gotten good with logistics.”

Shi Lang nodded and said, “I didn’t expect that they would get so good so quickly and also, they are teaching the generation. It would help them in the long run.”

Amelia nodded and kissed his cheek as he spoke. The two of them bathed in the golden sunset and spent their time in silence. The next few days, they placed the counter measure it total, but the Terrans had been working on the right track. The military was being rectified and things were picking up the pace.

The capital they gathered, all of it was reinvested in the government projects to create jobs and livelihood for the people. Shi Lang spent the last week of his vacation, with the Shi Family, and guiding Shi Ting. His sister was a better talent than him. She had a heaven blessed physique, after some thoughts, he deduced that it was because of the gene engineering technology that allowed his parents to have children after he left that caused this.

If he were to check the Shi Family for potential, he could place them in the cream of the Asura Hall, however, they have been away from the front, and they were too used to peace.

He sighed when he looked at them and Shi Ting standing next to him said, “Bro, you are pitying them too much.”

Shi Lang sighed and placed his hand over her shoulder and said, “Tingting, you look at big brother, and then at those videos I showed you all. Do you think these kids would be able to stand at the apex in the condition they are?”

Shi Ting smiled and said, “Don’t worry, I have an idea to give them a boost.”

Shi Lang looked at her with a narrowed gaze and they both smiled at the same time. Yu Xeidi was sitting next to them and said, “I feel bad for them all.”

Shi Ting looked at her and said, “Xiao Yu, my lovely darling, come, we will spar.”

Yu Xeidi stood up and then she dashed away while crying, “No, you and Baba both bully me so much. I will tell Ma.”

Shi Lang chuckled and said, “Don’t spar with her all the time. She doesn’t want others to know her moves.”

Shi Ting smiled and replied, “She is a good child. Very strong. She has beaten up Xiao Kai so many times that all the others run away at her sight. However, Xiao Kai has gotten very strong, and also I have gained a lot as well.”

Shi Lang nodded and said, “Ting, I will be leaving within a week, so let me teach you all that I can, try to ascend as soon as possible. Also, don’t worry about the family anymore. We have done our bit and now it is time for Yen and Kai to stand up.”

Shi Ting sighed and nodded before she said, “Sometimes, I miss Mom and Dad.”

Shi Lang patted her head gently and replied with silence. After a few minutes, Hao Mei came over and said, “Baba, the General Council has sent an urgent transmission. One of the big fives, Harpel Species is attacking the northern fleet. There are five hundred thousand people trapped in the ambush. They won’t last for more then twenty four hours.”

Shi Lang sighed and said, “Mei, go gear up, and bring your sisters, we are going out on a trip.”

Hao Mei smiled beautifully and left the place. She didn’t like to fight, but she was ruthless if she was to pick up a blade, and Shi Lang wanted to deter the entire galaxy for at least a thousand years to come, so he needed them to walk alongside him and make the people understand that he was not the only one here who could destroy them.
