Chapter 1759: Tantai Lan's Secret

"Mother's secret?" Li Luo and Jiang Qing'e couldn't hide their surprise. Their eyes glittered with intense curiosity as their mother had always had an air of mystery around her.

When Li Taixuan was growing up, the geniuses of the Heavenly Emperor powers in the Heavenly Origin Divine Continent had all been suppressed by a girl of unknown descent. All of them were captivated by her prowess, including Li Taixuan, who was an astonishing and peerless prodigy in his own right.

However, the young lady didn't seem to have any sort of backing and was like a lone rogue cultivator, which was completely outrageous. Even the likes of Li Luo, who stood at the front of the pack in the Heavenly Origin Divine Continent's younger generation, had the Bloodline of Heavenly Emperor Li behind him. The top-notch cultivation resources he had access to had allowed him to grow greatly, which were things that common rogue cultivators could never even dream of.

That said, he would occasionally lament that his background would make it so that he would never experience the hardships and subsequent tempering a rogue cultivator would have. Only by overcoming difficulty could he prove how outstanding he was. Alas, one couldn't experience hardship without suffering, which was indeed a pity.

Li Taixuan had just revealed that Tantai Lan possessed a secret that was related to something in the depths of the Spiritual Resonance Cave. He looked at his children with amused eyes and grinned as he said, "Let's go. If the rest of you are interested, you can come along as well."

Qi Huang sighed deeply and nodded. "We'll accompany you, then. The situation isn't clear, and if anything happens, we can help you deal with it."

More importantly, they also wished to unveil the secrets shrouding the Spiritual Resonance Cave. When Heavenly Emperor Jiang and the rest returned, it would also be beneficial for them to know.

The Golden Winged Peng Elder politely asked, "Your Excellency Taixuan, may I join you as well? That Golden Winged Peng feather seems to belong to my ancestor. I wish to know just what sort of connection the Golden Winged Peng Tribe has with this."

Li Taixuan naturally nodded. After a brief exchange, the group shot across the sky above the Heavenly Star Plains, leaving behind trails of light before everyone's eyes.

Now that the withering glory resonance had been taken away, the area around the cave no longer possessed the withering and glory energies, causing the worldly natural energy to turn back to normal. As a result, the area returned to normal.

A line of people made their way into the depths of the Spiritual Resonance Cave. The suppression that prevented people above a certain cultivation level from entering was long gone.

A feeling of nostalgia swept over Li Luo, causing him to space out momentarily. This was, after all, a place where he had once tempered himself. He could still remember the medical hut within the depths of the Spiritual Resonance Cave and the White Ape. Thinking back, what he had explored was merely a small corner of the cave. At that point in time, he had no idea that a supreme object like the withering glory resonance was hidden inside.

As these memories came to the fore, the feather in Li Taixuan's hand suddenly exploded with dazzling golden light, which then transformed into a golden pathway before them. The pathway pierced through the void, breaking through an invisible barrier that led to the depths of the Spiritual Resonance Cave. At the other end of the pathway was a place filled with clouds and fog, shrouding a majestic mountain. It gave off an ancient aura and was flickering in and out of existence.

All of a sudden, a powerful voice resounded in everyone's ears. "My friends from far away, please enter."

The voice caught everyone by surprise. Did someone truly live in the deepest parts of the Spiritual Resonance Cave? Everyone looked around, and they could see confusion and surprise in each other's eyes.

Li Taixuan, on the other hand, didn't hesitate to take the lead and made his way down the golden pathway. He trusted Tantai Lan, and since she had led him here, he knew it wouldn't be dangerous. Li Luo, Jiang Qing'e, Qi Huang, and the Golden Winged Peng Elder hurriedly followed.

The group passed through the golden road and eventually reached its end, entering the mysterious space where the majestic mountain stood amidst a sea of clouds. They then followed the path, moving towards the peak.

As they approached, they noticed an antique courtyard nestled in the forest atop the mountain. Two figures stood there, watching the newcomers. It was a man and a woman. The man was middle-aged, dressed in golden robes, and his body was like a pine tree, tall and upright. His expression was cold and stern, his eyes filled with the vicissitudes of time. The woman was beautiful, dressed in red palatial robes. Her figure was graceful and she exuded a unique charm.

The group could sense terrifying undulations coming from the duo, powerful enough to make them quiver. These were Heavenly Emperors! More importantly, they were Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperors comparable to Heavenly Emperor Jiang.

Qi Huang's heart instantly became turbulent. He knew the immense power that Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperors possessed. If the ten divine continents had two more peak combatants, their odds of defeating the Shadow World would greatly rise.

The beautiful lady in red looked at the group as if she was looking for someone, then she asked, "Where is Little Lan? Didn't she come along as well?"

Little Lan? Was she referring to Tantai Lan?

The group turned towards Li Taixuan, who hurriedly rushed forward, clasped his fist, and respectfully said, "Elders, my name is Li Taixuan, and I'm Ah Lan's husband. This is my son, Li Luo, and my daughter-in-law, Jiang Qing'e. Unfortunately, Ah Lan is stuck on the Nobles' Battlefield and is unable to leave."

The lady in palatial robes was a little taken aback by the sudden introduction, then she lightly laughed. "I never thought that Little Lan would get married and give birth to a son. However, judging by how long it has been, it should be about time as well."

She then sized up Li Taixuan and nodded. "I suppose you are a good fit for our child."

The beautiful lady then turned towards the curious crowd and chuckled. A sly smirk hung on her face, a little inconsistent with her status as a senior. "I can see that you have many questions. My name is Su Ying, and this is my husband, Yan Changsheng. You can probably guess who we are."

Li Luo was the first to throw out a guess. "Seniors... are you part of the Sacred Void Resonance Sect's Six Sons?"

"As expected of Little Lan's child, you really are smart," said Su Ying, giggling.

The group was taken aback by the confirmation. The words "Void Resonance's Six Sons" rumbled like thunder in their ears. They had met Wang Taixi and the Pill Saint, both extraordinary individuals. What was most surprising was the fact that this couple had preserved both their forms and auras particularly well. Just what sort of heaven-defying measures had they taken? Even though they were Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperors, no one could possibly withstand the erosion of time.

At this moment, the Golden Winged Peng Elder kneeled, his wizened face filled with emotion. He faced the golden-robed man and cried out, "I pay my respects to you, Ancestor!"

When Yan Changsheng was introduced, the old man was reminded of some of the tribe's ancient records. During the Sacred Void Resonance Sect's most glorious era, the Golden Winged Peng Tribe had produced an ancestor who had served as the right hand man of the Sacred Void Resonance Sect's Legendary Sect Master. He had followed her in her conquests and established a formidable reputation for himself.

The golden-robed man's icy expression softened as he asked, "Is there still a Divine Fruit Heavenly Emperor within the tribe?"

The elder hurriedly replied, "There are two Heavenly Emperors, but neither have been able to reach the same realm as you, Ancestor."

It was then that everyone realized that the man known as Yan Changsheng was actually a Golden Winged Peng, and the feather originated from him.

A question arose in Li Luo's heart, and he couldn't help but ask, "What sort of relationship do you seniors have with my mother?"
