A Person with Morals gets Transported to Another World [LitRPG] [Satire]

Chapter 82 – Mean what you say, and they’ll say what you mean.

Hyde lifted me like a princess. With how easily she picked me up, it was almost as if I weighed nothing at all to her. The way her strong arms held me had a comforting effect. I felt as though I was protected from all the ills of this world. I knew the journey home would be soothing. I would have to battle hard to stay awake, since her arms were more cosy than my own bed.

“Ready?” Hyde asked.

“Mhmm,” I said as affirmation. My head snuggled against her.

She began her run back to the city and all that comfort immediately disappeared. The intense acceleration hit me like a lorry t-boning a motorcycle. Hyde reached a high-speed so quickly that it felt like my bones were getting crushed against her body. My ribcage was crying for mercy.

“Aaaah! Slow down!” I screamed. However, neither I nor Hyde could hear my voice. My ears were buffeted by the strong winds that Hyde’s great speed was causing. It was no different than driving 100mph on the motorway with the windows down. My ear canals were assaulted by air.

Then our velocity shifted to a different direction. Since the forest was filled with trees, there was no direct path to the city. Hyde had to zigzag between trees and the inertia was killing me.

“Stop! STOP!” My cheeks flapped in the wind and my voice was inaudible. I couldn’t even be sure I was speaking. It was hard to breathe. I tried to lift my arm to tap Hyde and get her attention, however even lifting my arm proved to be difficult. Fighting against the force of movement that Hyde created was impossible.

In a way, I was right that I might fall asleep in Hyde’s arms. Not because the journey was relaxing, but because the g-force was pulling me into unconsciousness.

With how my bones bent and ached, I wondered if I was going to need the services of the chiropractor after this.

What surprised me though, was that the pain from the journey wasn’t significantly affecting my capacity to function. My whole body hurt a lot, yes, but I was able to put the feeling aside to think about how to escape this nightmarish rollercoaster. I had my Iron Will to thank for that.

“We’re here,” Hyde said as she abruptly stopped.

The sudden deceleration to a stop was the last blow to my body. “Ow,” I whimpered.

With a beaming smile Hyde said, “I’m so much faster. I hadn’t realised how much the pain was inhibiting my ability to move.”

Rubbing my sore body I replied, “I’m happy for you.” I couldn’t tell if my voice was quiet, or if my ears couldn’t hear properly anymore. I wanted to ask the woman to let me down, but I was sure I could no longer walk.

Hyde looked down at me sympathetically. “What’s wrong? Are you sleepy?” She seemed confused by my sudden tiredness.

I gave her a thumbs up and said, “I’m fine. Could you take me inside please?”

She obliged and took me into the building. I saw that the nightly meeting was still ongoing. Hyde had traversed such a long distance in a very short amount of time. It was impressive. Her Body level must have been extremely high, perhaps in the hundreds.

Upon entering, my fellow Earthlings rushed over to me. “Yarm! Are you alright?” Loftus asked. “You look like you’ve just been skydiving with your hair like that.”

Someone else said, “Are you hurt? You don’t seem to have any wounds.”

“If someone attacked you, tell us who and we’ll get revenge for you.”

I dismissively waved the concerns of my peers away. “Don’t worry. I’m not hurt. Hyde did this to me. The way she used her body was just too intense.”

The surrounding Earthlings went silent. They looked at me, then at Hyde, and then back to me. “Oooh.” Sounds of surprise came from several of them. A girl hid her face behind her hands and peeked through her fingers. Some covered their mouths and whispered to each other.

“Ah, so that’s why you’re so exhausted,” said Hyde. “Your body is feebler than I imagined. I didn’t expect you to end up like this so fast, considering we arrived after only a few minutes.” Her expression was more serious in front of all the others. She no longer had that girlish whimsy from testing out her newly painless body.

More scandalous whispers came from the Earthlings. “I can’t believe they’re talking about this so openly.”

Two boys made an obscene motion with their hands and said, “So, he’s a quickshot.”

“Looks like the knight wasn’t satisfied with his performance.” The speaker giggled.

Hyde placed me onto one of the many chairs in the main hall and then bade me farewell. When Hyde left and the door shut behind her, I was swarmed by everyone in the hall. It seemed that they had been nervous to act normally in front of the Royal Knight.

Loftus was the closest to me and the first to say, “Yarm! You didn’t tell me you were so close to that woman.”

I didn’t tell Loftus a lot of things, mainly because I hated him. “We weren’t really on good terms until recently. To be fair, we’re still not much more than strangers,” I said.

A girl made a squealing noise. “They’re strangers to each other and they already did it?”

A mischievous boy snapped his fingers. “Damnit. I didn’t realise that she was so easy. I should’ve shot my shot.”

I was bombarded by a cacophony of questions that all seemed to overlap. Loftus’ horrid voice was the only one I could make out. He asked, “What happened? Why are you closer now?”

By just how much pressure was on me, I felt obligated to answer. I made a pinching motion with my right hand and pretended to pierce my left hand with an invisible needle. I wanted to keep some patient confidentiality, so I intentionally kept my explanation vague. “She came to me because a certain part of her body needed attention, so I penetrated her body in several locations.” It wouldn’t be nice to go around sharing that Hyde had back pain.

My words seemed to set the room ablaze. Everyone started chattering excitedly. “No way!” a boy shouted.

“Several locations?” a girl muttered while holding her burning cheeks. “Even that forbidden location?”

A slender boy fell to his knees and asked the ceiling, “She came to him? Why am I never so lucky?”

Two people argued. One said, “He had to have cast a charm spell or something.”

The other said, “She’s a Royal Knight, idiot. There’s no way someone who’s level 20 is casting any spell that can affect her. It was just his natural rizz.”

“That Royal Knight’s old as hell, though. I wouldn’t be caught dead with a hag like that.”

“Ah, I see he’s a man of culture. A milf-hunter, just like me.”

Someone grabbed my shoulder and said, “You gotta teach me some pickup lines man. I’m out here dying of thirst.”

I tilted my head and wondered if I should offer him a glass of water. “Uhm, everyone. I think you’re under some sort of misunderstanding,” I said. It was clear that I wasn’t on the same page as any of these people.

Loftus asked, “So what happened after that?”

Wanting to wrap up the story quickly, I said, “I returned her panties to her, she got mad at me, and then she carried me here.”

Someone stroked their chin like a wise sage and said, “She was mad that you couldn’t go on for longer. You have much to learn.”

The dialogue was becoming too much for me to bear, so I asked Loftus, “Can you carry me to my bed? I’m too weak to make it there myself.” I was shy in my admission.

“Sheesh,” someone yelled. “She must have drained gallons from you if you can’t move.”

These people were giving me a headache. They were so rowdy over something they were too quick to assume. I didn’t have the energy to clarify, and I was sure that any explanation would fall on deaf ears. As the unruly gossip went on, Loftus carried me to my room. He even brought me a glass of water and placed it atop my bedside drawer.

“Rest well, Yarm,” he said as he left the room.

I could still hear the members of the nightly meeting talking, but I was too tired to care.

Now that I was finally alone, my very first action was to pull out the blue flag that I had received. I was going to make a Fast Travel location at my room so I would never have to experience such a brutal journey ever again. I raised the flag in the air to create a Fast Travel location in my bedroom. From now on, no matter how exhausted I was, my bed was only a menu button press away.

[Fast Travel location created at Home Base.]

I smiled upon seeing the message, but then, the flag started to crumble within my hand. The wood splintered away and the cloth of the flag slowly thinned into nothingness. “No, no, no!” I pleaded. “Don’t leave me.” My most precious item dissipated before my very eyes.
