Women-Conquering System: All Beautiful Women Are Mine!

Chapter 56: Crystal of Hope

Chapter 56: Crystal of Hope

"By the way, Raven, something terrible happened to me the first time I was teleported to this ancient site," Claire said with a frown.

"Something terrible?" Raven asked in surprise. "What happened?"

Claire lowered her head sadly.

"I was trapped in a vast, endless meadow. And I..."

She told him everything that had happened.

Raven’s eyes widened as he listened.

"Then how did you get out?"

Claire reached into her pocket and pulled out a palm-sized, rhombus-shaped green crystal.

"I picked up this crystal, and the next thing I knew, I was out of that place."

"Can I take a look at it?"

"Sure."

Claire handed the crystal to him.

Raven took it and examined it from every angle. Reyna, who was walking beside him, was curious as well.

"Description."

[STATUS]

Item Name: ???

Description: A mysterious crystal of unknown origin.

"Huh? How is that possible? This crystal doesn’t have a description at all," Reyna said in surprise.

Raven tried opening the item panel, and the result was exactly as Reyna had said.

But he didn’t give up. Instead, he called out to the system.

"System, give me information on this crystal."

[Item Name]: Crystal of Hope (1/3)

[Description]: One of the three Crystals of Hope. It has no significant use unless all three are collected and combined. Once they are combined, you’ll have the chance to make a wish to the gods. Of course, there are limitations, and wishes that violate the rules will not be granted.

Thump!

Raven’s heart began pounding.

"C-Crystal of Hope!? Damn..."

He swallowed hard in shock. The ability to grant a wish could practically be considered cheating.

Take, for example, if he wished for a powerful S-rank skill. Such a request wouldn’t violate the rules, meaning the gods would have no choice but to grant it.

The thought of possessing a skill that could put him far above the other players sent shivers down his spine.

"Just as expected of the Chosen One—amazing!" he praised silently.

He was now convinced that Claire was his lucky charm.

After calming himself down, Raven patted Claire on the head and said, "Claire, I still don’t know what this crystal is for. Can I have it?"

Claire nodded casually.

"Of course. Just take it, Raven. I don’t need it."

The corner of Raven’s mouth twitched slightly. Her complete lack of hesitation made him feel a little guilty.

If Claire knew what the crystal was actually capable of, he doubted she would say the same thing.

Then, he snapped back to reality when he noticed the 99-point Love Tank above Claire’s head.

Even if she knew, Raven was one hundred percent certain she would still give it to him.

"Thank you."

"You’re welcome!" Claire smiled sweetly. "As long as you like it, that’s enough."

Raven clutched his chest, feeling as though he’d been struck by an arrow of love.

"Damn... I feel even more guilty!"

How could there be such a kind-hearted creature?

This was the first time Raven had ever met someone like her.

Watching their intimate interaction, Reyna puffed out her cheeks.

"I want to give Raven something, too," she muttered irritably.

But she didn’t have anything of value to give him, which frustrated her a little.

The three of them eventually arrived at a large hall supported by four pillars.

[Hall Name]: Hall of Spirits

[Description]: A mysterious hall inhabited by powerful Level 14 spirits. They are immune to both magic and physical attacks, but vulnerable to mental attacks.

"Spirit monsters?"

Raven, Reyna, and Claire were all taken aback.

"Raven, we don’t have any mental attacks. How are we supposed to defeat them?" Reyna asked hesitantly.

Claire had the same thought and looked at Raven curiously.

Raven smiled casually.

"Don’t worry about it. I have a way."

"A way?"

The two women exchanged confused glances.

Raven said nothing and called out to the system.

"System, are there any mental abilities available in the system store?"

DING!

A message appeared in his mind.

Raven opened it and read the contents.

"[Unfortunately not, Host. The system shop isn’t fully unlocked yet. You’ll need to level me up to Level 2. Only then will more options become available for purchase.]"

Raven let out a small sigh.

"How do I level you up?"

DING!

"[If you can conquer Claire Hiragi, I’ll level up.]"

"Is it that easy?"

Raven was surprised.

DING!

"[It’s easy for you, but for anyone else, it won’t be. It’ll be extremely difficult.]"

Aira’s voice sounded helpless.

Raven laughed inwardly. What the system said made sense.

He had experience with many different types of women, so winning over someone like Claire or Reyna was fairly easy for him.

It would be a different story for a man who had never even held a woman’s hand. Winning over Claire might take years.

"I understand. But do you have a way to defeat the spirit monsters inside?"

DING!

"[Your hypnotic abilities are a form of mental power. I’m sure you know what I mean.]"

Raven was stunned. He had completely forgotten about that.

"Tsk! Good thing you reminded me. I totally forgot."

"Raven, why are you spacing out?"

Reyna’s worried voice came from beside him.

Raven broke away from his conversation with the system and smiled.

"It’s okay. Let’s go in."

Before the three of them could take a step, the sound of battle echoed from inside.

"Huh? A battle?"

Reyna and Claire exchanged confused glances.

Raven narrowed his eyes and walked inside.

Deep within the hall, he saw eleven people fighting fiercely against dozens of spirits.

When Raven’s gaze landed on the group’s leader, a meaningful smile appeared on his lips.

"Tristan... Pfft! I never expected to see him here again."

Reyna and Claire were equally surprised.

"Huh? Isn’t he the guy whose prey I stole?" Claire exclaimed.

"What did you say?" Reyna was dumbfounded. "You stole his prey?"

Claire coughed sheepishly and nodded weakly.

"At the time, I had just returned from that annoying meadow when I accidentally saw a group of people fighting a monster. As it happened, the boss monster was weak to magic, so I landed the final blow."

She scratched her cheek shyly.

"Raven, do you think I’m evil?"

Her eyes brimmed with tears.

Raven’s heart melted. He gently ruffled her hair and smiled.

"Evil? There’s no one evil here. Everyone’s fighting for a chance to make it into the top 100 and travel to the world of Alvas. Don’t blame yourself."

Claire’s sadness instantly vanished, replaced by a sweet, adorable smile.

Reyna narrowed her eyes.

"This woman is clearly faking it," she grumbled.

"By the way..."

Raven pulled his hand away from Claire’s head and looked toward Tristan and his group, who were struggling against the spirits.

A meaningful smile appeared on his face.

"I have a great plan..."
