Will of chaos

Chapter 1918 1918: Cap 1914: End of Event

“(Tarzor, I need to step it up!)” (me)

“(You can’t… the pressure will be much greater and your condition is already at its limit.)” (Tarzor)

“(Tarzor, we have no choice.)” (me)

“(We can go up to 30%, 38% maximum…)” (Tarzor)

“(It’ll be 50%!)” (me)

“(Zenos, you won’t resist…)” (Tarzor)

“(I will resist, long enough to end this!)” (me)

“< Universal Incarnation: 50% >” (me/Tarzor)

I felt my power expand further and it was as if my body were dissolving into pure energy. It was no longer a physical body; it felt as if I were burning eternally without ever stopping, a pain that was bearable yet agonizing.

“COME!!!” (me)

“< Chaos Invocation: Tree of Death >”

I advanced on him, my arms dissolving into liquid energy that still held my form, the scales now a materialization of pure reality energy covering my body, like the dimensional membranes of all universes.

The enemy didn’t just watch my attack; he advanced on me as dry, young branches appeared behind him. A large tree rose, a death energy erupting from it as its branches advanced toward me like thousands of spears, leaves sprouting from every corner.

My claws clashed against his armor, creating only superficial wounds, mere scratches that didn’t even cause real damage, but when his claws sank into my body, they left a deep cut in my abdomen.

My Aura began to expand, not outward, but inward. I felt space being created within my body. I felt the Energy Flow within this place pouring some of its raw energy into me. I advanced once more against this wretch, already swinging my tail. Just as he tried to defend my tail, one of my wings became sharp as a blade, descending toward him. He used his fists to strike me away.

“< Universal Unholy Magic: Reality Shattering >” (me)

Clapping my hands together, a wave of Reality power containing my Aura spread toward the Fallen Lord of Chaos and his strange tree. The surrounding Reality power fragmented into sharp shards, all pointing simultaneously at him, who had no time to do anything but rely on his tree.

The tree uses its roots and branches to defend itself as it tries to approach me. I thought it was impossible, but it was when its tree was shattered by my attack that it exploded, sending all its fragments crashing down on me. He took advantage of this to attack directly.

Soon, he and I were dancing among fragments of reality’s power and shards of dry wood. Our attacks against each other were nearly equal, yet between fists, claws, and bites, I was still the one being pushed back.

“< Universal Unholy Breath >” (me)

“< Chaotic Collapse Ray >”

I feel my own Soul being lent, I feel Tarzor’s raw energy flow connect with mine. The quality of my energy was greater, but the quantity of a universe’s energy was too much for me. It was as if my Soul were swimming in a river during a storm.

Maintaining control, I exchanged blows with the Fallen Lord of Chaos while using all that energy in a powerful breath attack, it was as if from my jaws a universe was being formed and thrown at the enemy who was also preparing his attack.

His two heads released two beams of energy that came toward me, intertwining. Unlike my attack, which was wider, his attack shattered mine as his advanced. Even so, he was still injured, while I was able to better withstand his attack.

“Aaaahhh!!!!” (me)

“Yes, release more power, release all that power…”

He only whispered, but I could hear him as I felt my energy circle completely integrate with Tarzor’s Universal Energy Flow. My own Soul was aching from the pressure, my Aura was becoming difficult to control, and as it stretched around my body, the space itself around me seemed to reject my presence.

I advanced against him once more, this time preventing him from summoning another creature. My speed was slightly faster than his, and I used this to prevent him from opening up.

I grabbed one of its heads, throwing it forward, where my tail pierced its open mouth to boil its brain. While its other snake-like head bit my neck, trying to suck the power of Chaos, it only managed to get close to my teeth. When my neck stretched, I trapped its head between my teeth.

Another burst of energy made me clench my jaws as seemingly infinite energy coursed through my body, with one head pierced and the other crushed. I had no illusions that I had defeated it, yet it spun twice across my chest, its arms piercing my body.

“< Universal Unholy Rune: Universal Sealing >” (me)

Runes surged from within my body along with particles of Starfire. It tried to escape as everything around us shattered, even the Demonic power melting away, the space seemingly becoming a swamp.

Stellar currents surrounded his body, and I took the opportunity to tear him apart alive. Even so, his Aura seemed to pulse even more intensely. My head was spinning slowly, making my movements monotonous.

Even so, I saw his body melt into pieces. He was about to begin transforming once more. The life energy he had gathered was fading as the seal I had used on him was being torn apart. That black hole was forming once more with that strong suction power. All his pieces, as well as some of my power, were sucked away while I was tormented by my Aura being continually wounded as if inside a blender.

“< Universal Unholy Magic: Universal Devourer >” (me)

Tarzor’s first ability, born with him, was to devour fragments of the universe. Now that he himself was a universe, he had the potential to literally devour entire universes, and this, combined with my Chaotic Devourer, created a horrific synergy.

My jaws opened, and all space cracked, the power of Chaos igniting everything with Stellar Flames while the rest of this entire Event shattered and was sucked into me. I was devouring the space around us and everything in it. As the Fallen Lord of Chaos was closest to me, it was quickly sucked in, everything compressed before entering my body. I barely managed to stop the technique after devouring my enemy, who was just transforming.

Cough Cough

“Argh!!” (me)

“(Zenos! Stop the fusion!!!)” (Tarzor)

“Not yet…” (me)

Inside me, I caused my still-transforming body to be surrounded by my Concept of Chaos. It was unable to defend itself as it was corroded, crushed, burned, purified, contaminated, and transformed in a continuous refinement process until nothing remained of it but pure fragments of the Concept of Chaos.

“(ZENOS!!!)” (Tarzor)

“Still… not…” (me)

With the power I was borrowing from Tarzor, I managed to move this Concept of Chaos into the Heart in my hand. The Crimson Blood Pulse was burning as it absorbed everything like a starving man after days without food.

When the last trace of this Concept of Chaos faded within the Crimson Blood Pulse, it was at that moment that I undid my fusion with Tarzor, which I discovered was far worse than the integration process.

I felt as if part of me was being ripped from me, as if my organs were being ripped apart, as if most of me were being sucked out, leaving only a dry husk behind. My body was torn to shreds while my Soul was literally scraped away, my Aura was crushed to pulp, with me maintaining consciousness in a feat of sheer force of Will.

I didn’t even realize when the process was over. I was already being carried by Sarazar like a princess, something I didn’t mind at all, as it was difficult to even stay awake.

I couldn’t even turn my head, but I didn’t need to. The entire Demonic space was shattered, rifts in space and entire areas of collapsed space could be seen. I was beyond exhausted, drained of my last breath, but I still needed to stay awake. There was something to wait for, a confirmation.

“(I will keep the Crimson Blood Pulse, thank you for this beautiful jewel… believe me, I will repay you for it…)” (Paradox)

“(Tell Hell that compensation must be paid for this. Don’t try to bargain, scream, or even demonstrate anything; that would just be fun for her…)” (Paradox)

I barely felt something in my body disappear. Paradox’s words were heard, but I couldn’t focus my mind enough to process them.

I just wanted to make sure if this time it was truly over or not, since you never know with Callidora, but as soon as I heard that sound, it was like relief washed over my battered body.
