Chapter 1899: CP 1895: Why does it never happen the way I want it to…?

“(Let’s go all out…)” (me)

I look at everyone concentrating their powers and realize they’re doing the same as me, which shows we have a tough battle ahead.

“< Origin Invocation of Rebirth: Staff of World Rebirth >” (Lolth)

“< Origin Awakening: Unbound Tomb Dragon >” (Sarazar)

“< Kaiser Ascension >” (Ronan)

“< Origin Art: Anomalous Overlay >” (Davoth)

“< Origin Art: Materialization of the Anomalous Guardian >” (Davoth)

“< Unholy Incarnation >” (me)

“< Divine Invocation: Eclipse Sword >” (me)

“< Eclipse Law: Dagger of the Threshold >” (me)

“< Star Sword: Awakening of the Path >” (me)

“< Threshold Dagger: Ascension of the Path >” (me)

My power circulates through the inner cycle, traveling throughout my body and my Soul, a single flow of energy that embodies All my energy, whether from the Law, Divine power, Anomalous power, the three natural energies, or even the newly acquired power of the Concept of Chaos, which was still nothing more than sparks, yet this incomplete and unstable Concept was the core of the energy cycle, dictating the rhythm of the flow, making everything more fluid.

My body changes more easily and quickly. I no longer needed to restrain my size as my body changed exactly as I wanted, following my virtue with ease.

In one of my hands, a fragment of space separates as a dice blade forms. With the other, I strike space, sinking my fist and drawing out a crystal sword.

My Divine Weapon pulses within me. The Shattered Moon travels to the Threshold Dagger while the Cursed Sun travels to the Star Sword.

All this happens with naturalness and unparalleled speed. The two Weapons become one through my Divine Weapon fusing with them. Then, I awaken both Paths simultaneously. Unlike before, the two weapons create an ethereal current in the hilt that attaches to their arms as a new representation of their Paths. Their forms change into a Katana and Dagger, emanating a dual presence like that of twins connected yet different.

When I opened my eyes, it felt like hours had passed, but I discovered that in fact, only a little over a second had passed. The speed of these changes was too astonishing even for me to believe.

Looking around, I see Hades already holding a Star Sword in his hands; it looked like a Dragon’s wing with a serrated blade.

Lolth was pulling her staff as if space itself were handing it to her. It was a staff made of wood with the appearance of naturally twisted branches. The head of the staff had transformed to resemble the crown of a tree, its leaves ethereal and made of pure energy. It seemed far more powerful than before, even emanating a lifelike aura.

Sarazar’s entire body was covered in metal armor that looked more like bones. His head transformed into that of a dragon, his body growing twice as large. On his back, a pair of skeletal metal wings unfolded, a dark energy covering them. His appearance was not that of a knight, but rather more wild and natural. In his hands, pieces of stone and petrified tree roots appeared out of nowhere, merging into a peculiar sword. Ancient writings appeared on the blade, like a testament on a tombstone.

Davoth had two types of Anomalous power. Unlike me, who can simply change the type of Anomalous power I possess as I please, he possesses both types of Anomalous power that he now mobilizes within his body.

“(So that’s how he did it, he has two Cycles of Power within him, parallel to each other.)” (me)

I finally figured out how he managed to maintain two opposing powers within himself. It was a huge surprise. Having only one cycle of power was already an insane feat, one that I managed largely by chance. Having two, and on top of that, so planned in its form, was unbelievable.

These two anomalous powers surrounding Davoth created distinct marks on his body. Even his horns and wings were covered in distinct marks that split his body in half. He then gathered this power in his hands, forming two distinct magic circles. They collided, shattering into fragments that quickly reformed, joining these fragments together into a single magic circle that expanded in front of him, where a creature emerged.

He was thin, his entire body gray, and he had no face, only two horns in the middle of his face that curled toward the sides of his head. He had no wings, but two tails. Despite having a humanoid body, he acted like a beast. He stepped and moved using his hands as paws, stepping on the ground as if he were on the ground. The marks on his body were the same as those on Davoth’s. I could sense his power was absurd.

“[He’s appeared!]” (Igor)

Just as he announced, everyone looked in the same direction, the place where my Blood Zombies were still multiplying, before that thing appeared.

“< Infernal Savage Art: Triple Eradication >” (Infernal Chimera)

The three wolf heads spoke simultaneously in three different voices. What happened next was three lights erupting from their jaws, exploding into a horrific catastrophe. Everything for thousands of kilometers around them was eradicated until only particles remained, even space was fragmented like shattered glass.

All the Blood Zombies were destroyed, and the area of effect of their technique was exactly what I needed to eradicate the effects of my magic.

“You made me wipe out 1/3 of my beasts!” (Infernal Chimera)

With that, he charges at me at terrifying speed. My senses managed to capture his movement, but I couldn’t follow him yet, but that doesn’t mean anyone else can.

Suddenly, Sarazar, the Anomalous Demon, summoned Davoth and acted simultaneously. Sarazar used his sword to cut down the Infernal Chimera, but the beast’s claws were tied with Sarazar’s stone sword. Davoth’s Anomalous Demon, on the other hand, had very long, sharp claws that were grabbed by one of the Infernal Chimera’s jaws.

Their three Auras exploded, but before anything else could be done, Ronan and I had already made our move. Holding my weapons, I advanced on him head-on, while Ronan launched hidden attacks.

“< Eclipse Slash >” (me)

“< Transcendental Strike >” (Ronan)

My attack and Ronan’s were pincer attacks while the Infernal Chimera still had to deal with the previous two attacks.

My attack charged an energy blade with my power that moved as if it were alive, dodging the claws of its remaining hand before striking its neck. Meanwhile, Ronan’s strike created a golden light behind the creature that I couldn’t see.

“< Demonic Blood Breath >” (Infernal Chimera)

“< Unholy Breath >” (me)

As soon as I saw one of its three heads storing energy in its throat, I knew what was going to happen and acted accordingly, preparing myself as well.

Our two attacks collide head-on, but I’m at a stalemate with him. I figured the others would keep attacking. He wasn’t as strong as I thought he would be, but suddenly I notice three large fingers ending in claws piercing my body.

When I look back, I see the Chimera behind me, but when I look forward, he’s still there. I don’t understand what’s happening.

Cough Cough

“< Eclipse Spatial Magic: Spatial Alteration >” (me)

I move my body, distorting space as if it were a block puzzle, and soon I appear far away from him, the wound on my body slowly healing.

Looking around, I realized there weren’t just two Chimeras, there were three. The third was fighting Lolth and Sarazar. The first, which had been attacking me with its blood breath, was now facing Ronan, while Davoth intercepted the one that wounded me before it could pursue me.

“Be careful, the three heads can separate, creating new bodies.” (Igor)

“That information would have been good before!” (Me)

“I didn’t know that, I realized it at the same time you did, but don’t worry, his power diminishes that way.” (Igor)

Looking at the three enemies, it was clear that each of them only had one of those heads, and their bodies were smaller.

I didn’t stand still, concentrating my power on my sword and dagger, then advancing fearlessly, already sending a mental message to Lolth and Sarazar. The idea was to finish them off first, waiting for our greatest number. If I got rid of that clone of yours, he would be permanently weakened.

“< Gehenna Mutation >” (Infernal Chimera)

“< Origin Magic: Asset Inversion >” (Igor)

Suddenly, my body was enveloped by a strong energy filled with a delicate Concept. Suddenly, I felt myself being dragged through a complex path before appearing alongside everyone else, with the three Chimeras right in front of us, already advancing as they fused together again.

“[Two of them are fake, only the Demon’s head is real, destroy it.]” (Igor)

Hearing Igor’s words, I advance against the enemy, waving to Davoth beside me as he also backs away. That’s when the enemy suddenly stops mid-charge, his claws catching Sarazar, who appears at his side before I know it.

Soon we all run after him. This time he doesn’t separate and tries to attack as before, everyone doing their best to end this fight. Everything from sword slashes, thrown daggers, punches, and claws was used. We tried for several minutes, and still he seems to never get hurt, his wounds healing as if they had never existed.

“(I have to find something to affect him!!)” (me)

“(Why does it never work the way I want it to!?)” (me)
