Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives

Chapter 798 Hot-headed Emperor?

Villain Ch 798. Hot-headed Emperor?

Allen left Emma’s room. A sense of urgency gripped him, driving him to quicken his pace as he made his way back to his own room. He had promised to hunt with the girls, to spend time with them. But now, as he glanced at the clock ticking away on the wall, he realized that he had let them down.

His initial invitation to hunt with Azura had been a gesture of goodwill. And, as he reflected on his actions, he couldn’t shake the feeling of guilt that gnawed at him. He had made the others wait longer than he had anticipated, all because of his misguided attempt to make amends with Azura.

The thought of the girls waiting for him filled Allen with a sense of dread. He knew that he had no excuse for his tardiness, no explanation that could justify his actions. He had made them wait, and for that, he knew he would have to face their disappointment.

“I wonder if they go hunting without me,” Allen mused to himself as his feet continued to carry him swiftly through the corridor. The thought gnawed at him, fueled by the absence of his companions in the cursed crypts earlier. It seemed likely that they had forged ahead without him.

Allen entered his room, a sense of urgency propelled him toward his desk, his fingers reaching out instinctively for his VR device. He was eager to immerse himself in the virtual world. But just as he was about to snatch up his VR device, his eyes landed on the phone lying on his desk, its screen lit up with a barrage of notifications.

Curiosity piqued, Allen hesitated, his fingers hovering over the device. He abandoned his initial plan and reached for his phone instead, his movements quick and determined. Quickly, he unlocked the screen and scanned through the chat.

Vivian: I gotta be honest, I was totally floored when he managed to land that hit on Emma. I mean, she was mid-air and he was just using his assassin avatar, but boom, he got her!

Shea: Yes, his tactics are definitely not what you’d expect.

Zoe: Seriously, thinking outside the box. I never even considered something like that.

Larissa: I wonder if other players are gonna start copying his moves in the next battle.

Bella: Oh, for sure they will. This whole thing’s blown up on the gaming forums.

Alice: I’m dying to reply to their comments. *smirking emoji*

Shea: Come on, Alice, keep it together!

Allen decided to jump into the chat.

Allen: Hey, you guys waiting for me?

Vivian: Yep! We’ve been twiddling our thumbs, waiting for the great Allen to grace us with his presence.

Jane: Or, you know, gossiping about you. Same thing, really.

Larissa: Hey, Jane, way to spill the beans!

Allen: I can tell you’ve been talking about me, even without you saying it outright. *smirking emoji*

Shea: Have you checked out the forum yet?

Allen: Not yet. But I’m guessing it’s just the usual drama, right?

Larissa: *Cringing emoji*

Zoe: Oh, it’s the usual, alright.

Allen could practically hear the cringe in Zoe’s voice as she spoke. The thought of what was being said about him on the forums made him inwardly cringe too.

Allen: *Laughing emoji* Yeah, I can already picture the forum blowing up over this. This happened before, you know.

Shea: But don’t you feel like your tactics are a bit… different? Or are you proud of it? I mean, hitting someone in mid-air, that’s not an average move.

Allen’s brow furrowed in thought. He hadn’t really given much thought to his tactics, they just seemed like common sense to him.

Allen: Proud of the tactic? Nah, it’s just common sense, really. If I can’t reach my opponent, why not just take a leap of faith?

Zoe: …

Larissa: He’s got a point. Sometimes, the simplest solution is the best one.

Bella: But it seems risky, doesn’t it? I mean, with the level gap and all, you’ve gotta know you’re at a disadvantage.

Alice: Don’t forget, Bella, he is the real emperor. He knew exactly what his avatar was capable of.

Bella: Ugh, I totally spaced on that.

Shea: Yeah, it’s easy to forget that Allen’s got some serious skills up his sleeve in his disguise.

Jane: Totally. I mean, look at what he pulled off in the last battle. If anyone can handle the pressure, it’s him.

Allen: Aw, thanks guys. I’m just trying to do what I can to help out the players and put myself in their shoes.

Zoe: Still, it’s pretty impressive. I don’t think anyone saw that move coming.

Larissa: Definitely not. I guess that’s what makes Allen such a wildcard.

Bella: Well, whatever it is, I’m glad he’s on our team.

Alice: Agreed.

Allen couldn’t help but feel a swell of pride at his companions’ words.

Jane: Hey, Allen, quick question. What if your attack fails and you end up falling before you can land a hit?

Allen: Simple. I’ll just go for the stab. Doesn’t matter where, as long as I can grab onto her.

The chat fell silent after Allen’s response, and he couldn’t help but cringe at the lack of reaction. His eyes remained glued to his phone screen, feeling a wave of self-doubt wash over him. “Was that too much?” he muttered under his breath, his voice barely audible in the quiet room.

Shea: Thank goodness you didn’t miss. I can’t even imagine if you did. Emma would lose it.

Zoe: Yeah, I can totally see her flipping out.

Vivian: You have no idea how furious she was, Allen. It was intense.

Allen quickly typed out his reply, his fingers moving across the screen with a grimace. He could practically picture Emma’s furious expression, and the thought made him wince.

Allen: Was she really that angry?

Jane: Seriously? You’ve met her, right?

Allen: Yeah, I have. But she didn’t seem that mad.

Allen furrowed his brow for a moment, contemplating his response. With a sigh, he decided to edit his sentence, realizing it didn’t quite capture what he wanted to convey.

Allen: I mean, she did look pretty ticked off. But I didn’t think it was that bad.

Bella: *Shocking emoji* Trust me, you’re better off not knowing. She went ballistic, screaming her head off and going on a rampage in the Cursed Crypts courtyard, torching all the monsters in sight.

Alice: Yeah, seriously. It’s like she’s turning the emperor avatar into some cringeworthy villain who can’t handle a little defeat. Not a good look.

Larissa: Thank goodness she wasn’t the one controlling the emperor avatar. We’d have a hot-headed emperor on our hands instead of a cool-headed one.

Jane: A hot-blooded emperor who loves to unleash his rage and fury. Sounds interesting, right?

Shea: Are you sure about that? Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Jane: Hmm, actually, now that I think about it, that does sound kind of corny.

Bella: Yeah, can you imagine? A fiery emperor, just raging around the battlefield, burning everything in sight.

Alice: It sounds intense, for sure. But I don’t know if it would be effective. I mean, wouldn’t that just make him an easy target?

Larissa: Exactly. I’d rather have a cold-blooded strategist than a hotheaded warrior any day.

Jane: But wouldn’t it be exhilarating? The thrill of battle, the rush of adrenaline… It’s like tapping into a primal force.

Zoe: I see what you’re saying, but I think there’s a fine line between being passionate and being reckless. We need someone who can keep a level head under pressure.

Jane: Yeah, I guess you’re right. We need someone who can channel their emotions in a constructive way, not just explode at the first sign of trouble. Explore stories at My Virtual Library Empire

Shea: Definitely. We need someone who can lead with both heart and mind, not just raw emotion.

Allen: So, any plans after this? Or are we up for some hunting? I stumbled upon this cool spot.

Zoe: Oh, I thought your group was giving you a hard time. Saw you all leaving Eyon Village, and man, it was all over the place. Two healers, a ranged DPS, and two tanks? I figured you’d bail out, but here you are.

Vivian: Miracle worker, that’s what you are.

Larissa: Bet Allen was the MVP, huh?

Allen: Nah, not really. Arcana, Red_King, Azura, and Father^Alex, they all hold their own in battle. It’s just… they’re more about sticking to the plan, you know? Less about thinking on their feet and rolling with the punches.

Jane: Exactly. Not everyone’s big on thinking outside the box. Some folks just stick to what they know, you know?

Zoe: Totally. Like Paladins, they always go for that Charge skill as soon as they see an enemy. But really, Shield Throw is way more effective for starting a fight.

Jane: And assassins? Don’t even get me started. They’re all about Rapid Strike and Hiding skills. So boring.

Allen took a deep breath, nodding to himself. “Yeah, true,” he muttered under his breath.
