Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives

Chapter 792 Powerless

Villain Ch 792. Powerless

Allen and his team took a moment to catch their breath, their chests heaving as they tried to calm themselves after the intense struggle. Their eyes fell upon Gheppetto, who now stood alone amidst the wreckage of his broken tombstones and puppets, his strings severed and his power greatly diminished.

Gheppetto’s options were limited now that he was without his puppets or the tombstones to manipulate. His skill lay mostly in deflecting his surroundings to create distance from his opponents, as well as in controlling objects or puppets around him. However, with his strings cut and his powers weakened.

With a fierce determination in his eyes, Gheppetto began to pound on the barrier that surrounded him, his fists striking the shimmering surface with all his might in a desperate attempt to break free. But the barrier held strong, its energy pulsing with a vibrant light as it resisted Gheppetto’s onslaught.

Allen and his companions watched with grim satisfaction as Gheppetto’s efforts proved fruitless.

“We’ve got him now,” Allen said, his voice filled with a sense of triumph. “Without his puppets or his tombstones, he’s powerless.”

“But we can’t let our guard down,” Azura cautioned. “Gheppetto may be weakened, but he’s still dangerous.”

“We need to finish this,” Red_King said, his voice steely with determination. “Before he finds another way to escape.”

“But how? Breaking the barrier would be a bad idea,” Arcana admitted, his voice strained. “I’m not sure I can do the same trick as before. I didn’t think too much when I threw my shield, and the fact that I was able to cut so many strings was complete luck.”

His admission hung in the air, the weight of uncertainty settling upon the group as they considered their next move.

Red_King’s brow furrowed in frustration as he surveyed their surroundings, his mind racing with thoughts of strategy and escape. “We can’t just leave it like that, right?” he interjected, his voice tinged with urgency. “We need to find a way to finish this before he regains his strength.”

Bored Hunter’s eyes narrowed in contemplation as he considered Red_King’s words. “Maybe we can take advantage of this chance to escape,” he suggested, his voice laced with a hint of desperation.

“We can’t just run away,” Azura spoke up, her voice firm with determination. “We need to finish what we started.”

“His HP is just a third left. Why waste our effort?” Allen questioned, his voice tinged with frustration. “We need to find a way to end this before it’s too late.”

Father^Alex nodded in agreement, his expression grave as he considered their predicament. “But how do we attack him without risking ourselves?” he mused aloud, his voice laced with uncertainty.

Arcana’s eyes narrowed in determination as he spoke up, his voice firm and resolute. “We have no other choice but to open the barrier,” he declared. “It’s our best chance at taking him down.”

Bored Hunter’s panic was palpable as he voiced his concerns, his voice trembling with fear. “But won’t that just give him control over the puppets and tombstones around us?” he protested, his eyes wide with apprehension.

Allen finally spoke up with a hint of determination in his voice. “Then we’ll just have to trap ourselves together with him and finish him,” he proposed, his words carrying a note of grim resolve. “But we need to be careful of his strings. He could make us turn on each other.”

Azura’s eyes widened in realization as she considered Allen’s words, her expression mirroring the gravity of the situation. “We’ll just have to cut his strings if it catches one of us,” she suggested, her voice determined despite the fear that gnawed at her.

Allen turned to her with a grim expression, his eyes reflecting the weight of their situation. “But if he manages to ensnare us all, it will be our doom.”

“That makes sense, but yes, it is indeed very dangerous and risky,” Father^Alex conceded, his voice tinged with concern as he weighed the potential consequences of their plan.

Arcana turned to Red_King, his expression serious as he posed the crucial question. “Are you willing to take this risk?” he asked, his gaze unwavering as he awaited Red_King’s response.

Red_King’s smile was smug as he met Arcana’s gaze. “It’s not a risk, but a challenge,” he replied confidently. “And why not? We’ve faced tougher odds before.”

Azura nodded in agreement, her voice steady as she offered her insight. “The DPS will get close,” she pointed out. “The priests will stay outside the barrier and use their healing skills or buffs in case we need them.”

Bored Hunter cringed at the thought, his voice laden with apprehension as he voiced his doubts. “You guys are kidding, right?” he protested, his tone bordering on panicked whining.

Arcana’s smug smile appeared. He reassured Bored Hunter with a hint of amusement. “No, we’re not kidding,” he replied firmly. “Just stay with the healers if you’re afraid.”

Bored Hunter nodded reluctantly, his resolve firming as he steeled himself for the challenge ahead. “I guess I prefer to assist the healers,” he conceded, his voice tinged with uncertainty.

With their plan in place, the group approached the barrier with determined strides, their weapons at the ready and their senses heightened for any sign of danger. Inside the barrier, Gheppetto’s anger was palpable as he glared at them, his expression twisted with rage and malice.

Father^Alex’s voice cut through the tension, his command ringing out with authority. “In the count of three,” he announced, his tone resolute as he prepared to lead the charge. “One. Two. Three.”

With a collective surge of determination, Allen, Azura, Red_King, and Arcana surged forward once the barrier shattered around them. Gheppetto’s eyes widened in shock at their sudden advance, his expression morphing from anger to disbelief in the blink of an eye.

Before Gheppetto could react, Father^Alex and Greatest Healer sprang into action, their hands moving in practiced motions as they summoned another barrier around Gheppetto and the others. The barrier materialized with a resounding crackle of energy, encasing Gheppetto and his team in the barrier.
