Chapter 1890: You Belong in The Trash
Chapter 1890: You Belong in The Trash
Villain Ch 1890. You Belong in The Trash
A parasite pretending to be love.
The landlord roared—and lunged.
Claws met steel.
Sparks exploded between them.
Allen grunted, caught the swing on the flat of his blade, but the force pushed him back a step. Just a step.
He planted his feet and shoved back, then retaliated with a slash so fast it left a trail of heat in the air.
The landlord dodged—but not fast enough.
His side opened. Black ichor poured out.
“You don’t belong in a church,” Allen muttered. “You belong in the trash.”
“You have no idea what she is,” the landlord hissed. “That girl… she asked for this!”
He glanced toward her. She was crying. Shielded. Shaking.
But Jane looked up. Her voice was calm, deadly. “He’s twisting it. Probably a desperation wish. She was scared.”
“She lit the candle!” the landlord screamed. “She bled on the floor! She wanted to escape!”
“She didn’t want you,” Allen said.
He threw another Telekinesis Blast—not to knock back, but to stagger. The landlord reeled.
Allen followed up with Abyss Shatter.
He raised his sword overhead, channeled the Aura, and slammed it into the floor.
The ground cracked—deep. Like the church was groaning from beneath. Black light surged outward, laced with purple arcs of abyssal energy. The landlord got caught dead center.
The explosion flung him backward, tore apart pews, and reduced half the wedding guests to dust.
[Enemy DEF -30% for 10 seconds]
Allen moved through the debris like a ghost. Calm. Focused. His heartbeat steady.
10 seconds. That was enough.
He vanished into a Void Mirage, leaving an illusion behind as he ducked left.
The landlord struck the mirage.
It exploded.
Allen hit from the right—blade first. Cut through his leg.
The landlord screamed.
Then Allen kicked him in the face.
Again.
Again.
Until the mask cracked.
“You think you’re justice?” the landlord wheezed. “You think this is righteous?”
“I think you’re in my way,” Allen said, voice cold.
He stabbed straight through the man’s heart.
Black mist burst from the wound. A sound escaped the landlord’s mouth—not a scream. A whimper. The mask shattered.
Allen yanked the blade out and stepped back as the body collapsed in on itself, turning to ash and bone. The church began to shake. Candles flickered out. The stained glass cracked.
Quest update pinged in Allen’s vision.

Behind him, the fight was over.
Larissa stood with blood dripping from her claws.
Bella was sitting on a pile of rubble, hair wild but face smug.
Shea was fixing a feather like a girl brushing off battlefield glitter.
Zoe was casually squeezing ichor off one of her tentacles like it was conditioner.
Vivian leaned against a shattered pew, panting but grinning like she just finished a workout she enjoyed too much.
Jane dropped her shield dome and exhaled.
Alice was midair on her broom, brushing soot off her hat with one hand, looking bored and mildly annoyed that the fun was over.
Allen looked around once. Took it all in.
“Nice job,” he said simply.
Vivian winked. “We always perform best at weddings.”
“I swear to hell if I catch the bouquet again—” Zoe muttered.
But Allen didn’t laugh. His gaze flicked toward the altar. Then left. Then right.
His eyes narrowed.
“…Where’s Elise?”
They all paused.
Then turned.
The church doors were wide open.
She was gone.
[Quest Updated: Search for Elise.]
Shea made a sound somewhere between a growl and a sigh. “Seriously? She ran again?”
Jane groaned. “Maybe we should shackle her next time.”
“That girl has no sense of self-preservation,” Zoe muttered. “She pisses me off.”
“She just watched us murder a demon landlord in a blood wedding,” Bella said. “You’d think she’d want to stick with the squad.”
“So we have to explore this damn town again?” Jane said, tone flat. “Spread out?”
Allen lifted a hand. “No.”
They looked at him.
He was staring at the street just beyond the threshold, brows drawn, sword still gripped loosely in his right hand.
“She’s running. Again. So it means she’s going somewhere,” he said slowly. “And this place doesn’t give you a lot of options.”
Bella flicked her tail. “The way out?”
“The forest,” Shea said. “It’s the only exit, right?”
“Let’s check it,” Allen said. “If she’s really trying to leave, that’s where she’ll go.”
It didn’t take long. They knew the streets now—knew which shadows were real and which ones were just scenery. The ghostly townsfolk still stood. Silent. Watching. Frozen in that looped moment between life and nightmare. No longer singing. Just staring.
The air outside the church had shifted. Colder. Still. The kind of silence you felt in your bones, like the whole town was holding its breath.
The path to the forest was ahead. The crooked stone arch. The dirt trail winding into the fog.
But when they got there—
Still closed.
The forest gates loomed with that same heavy chain. Thick. Rusted. Etched with blood-colored runes that pulsed faintly.
Zoe squinted. “Didn’t we… unlock this after the wedding?”
“Guess not,” Larissa said. “Or maybe we did, and it locked again. This place cheats.”
Allen stared at it.
It didn’t look like the kind of gate you could brute force.
No. This was tied to the storyline.
Meaning…
“We’re not done,” he muttered.
“Yay,” Vivian said dryly.
Bella cracked her neck. “We missed something?”
Allen didn’t answer. He was thinking. Playing back Elise’s face. Her panic. Her eyes. The way she looked after the wedding. She wasn’t just scared. There was something else behind it. Guilt?
Regret?
He clicked his tongue.
“She’s not trying to leave,” he said suddenly.
“What?” Shea asked.
Jane’s eyes narrowed. “So… where’d she go?”
Allen turned to her. “Where would you go if you did something awful? If you hurt someone you care about?”
Jane paused. Then blinked.
“…Oh.”
“Hospital,” Allen said.
“Yes.”
“She stabbed her grandma, didn’t she?” Zoe asked.
“Maybe she regrets it,” Alice murmured.
“Of course she does,” Larissa said, starting to walk. “Come on. If she’s there, we’ll find her.”
