Su Luoluo was silent for a moment, lost in thought.

Xi Yi seemed to have figured something out. He reluctantly suggested, "If Luoluo really can’t bear to part with any of us, then how about we take turns? One day each."

"My tree will not be struck by lightning! I’ve lived there for so long, and it’s always been perfectly fine," Fu Feng retorted, exasperated.

Xiao Ye shrugged and snorted. "Who knows? Look at Su Luoluo’s perfectly good house. Didn’t it get struck by lightning? And hers was the only one in the entire tribe."

"As if your caves are any better," Fu Feng shot back, refusing to yield. "They’re cold and damp inside. Su Luoluo is a female; living in there would be bad for her health."

"In that case, Luoluo should probably stay with me in my wooden hut! I keep my little cabin very clean, it’s not much different from the one you lived in before," Xi Yi said with a grin, having quietly listened to the three of them finish.

Only after speaking did the three of them snap back to their senses. They had been so busy finding fault with each other that they’d let the Lizard gain an advantage.

The three of them, of course, disagreed. Upon hearing this, they shouted in unison, "No!"

"Why not? Didn’t the three of you just say how bad your own places are? My place is so nice, so why disagree?" Xi Yi asked, a smile in his eyes as he gazed at the three of them with a look of feigned, innocent confusion.
