Chapter 15: Chapter 15: Cunning Female vs. Beastman

Su Nuannuan had originally been waiting to see Su Luoluo make a fool of herself, but who knew she would be sitting up there just fine.

’How could this be? Is Mo Xuan just letting that ugly monster Su Luoluo sit on him?’

Su Luoluo, naturally, didn’t notice any of this. She counted the sour plums she was holding—they were almost all gone.

’Mo Xuan sure has a big appetite. He ate almost all of my snacks.’

After Su Yang found a spot for everyone to rest, he said to Lan Ya, "Take some people into the forest and pick some fruit to eat."

Lan Ya nodded, called the other females, and headed into the woods.

The Beastmen had been the ones making the arduous journey, and now they were utterly exhausted. Naturally, they had no energy left to hunt for other food.

The females, on the other hand, had ridden on their backs the entire way without taking a single step. Of course, they weren’t as tired, so the task of finding fruit for lunch naturally fell to them.

She found a thin stick and threaded them on, then plucked a large, round leaf from a nearby tree. She rolled it into a cone and placed the "meat skewer" she had just made inside the leaf.

After making sure no light could get through, she placed the leaf on the ground and then found a place to hide.

Xiao Ye wasn’t a fan of wild fruit, so he was wandering around to see if he could find some wild eggs to eat.

Who would have thought that before he’d gone far, he would see Su Luoluo hiding furtively to the side, her eyes seemingly fixed on something.
