Chapter 1165: Realm Fusion Method, Skymagia Royal Fleet’s Arrival

Chapter 1165: Realm Fusion Method, Skymagia Royal Fleet’s Arrival

Among the many things Vaan learned from the Myriad Sea God Palace’s grand libraries, he found a particular method that seemed rather useful for the development of Pangea and Gehenna.

It was a type of Realm Fusion Method called the Dimensional Overlay Fusion.

This Realm Fusion Method required the extraction of Realm Essence from other realms, fusing them into one’s own realm’s Realm Essence.

Once this step was achieved, the other realms would be drawn to one’s home realm, superimpose, and assimilate, becoming one larger grand realm with a higher life value and potential.

Such a grand realm would become capable of nurturing higher life forms.

Naturally, other types of Realm Fusion Methods existed.

However, Vaan specifically focused on the Dimensional Overlay Fusion due to the current relationship between Pangea and Gehenna. Their relationship was quite similar to the Dimensional Overlay Fusion.

The only difference was that Pangea wasn’t assimilating into a single realm but was splitting off into the nine different planets of Gehenna. Although Pangea was ultimately divided, it still overlapped and assimilated with other realms.

As such, Vaan figured that if the Realm Essence of Gehenna’s nine territories could be transplanted into Pangea’s Realm Essence, the dominant position of assimilation would reverse, allowing Gehenna’s nine territories to merge with Pangea instead.

Moreover, this fusion process was among the friendliest of all the Realm Fusion Methods.

To local life forms, they would not be seeing another world crashing into them, causing cataclysmic destruction and mass extinction, overturning heaven and earth.

On the contrary, they wouldn’t feel much seismic shock or any inverted gravity.

They would only notice the mountains and rivers vastly expanding as the world’s landmass increased by multiple times, elevating governing laws and energy levels, and promoting all life.

It was very different from the Orbital Lock Convergence, which locked two realms into a decaying orbit until they physically contacted and fused into a single realm. This kind of fusion would also create a greater world over time, but during the process, it would cause mass extinction and destroy all life.

As such, the Orbital Lock Convergence was never an option for consideration, but the Dimensional Overlay Fusion was warmly welcomed.

Unfortunately, the Dimensional Overlay Fusion couldn’t be used for just any star realm.

At the very least, the star realm needed to have a world consciousness capable of birthing the Realm Spirit and transforming the star realm into a living planet. ṜАℕȰВÈȘ

Generally, most star realms would have one, but Pangea was not included.

After all, Pangea was originally not a life planet. It was a dead planet, incapable of nurturing any life. Life only began after Golden Dragon Pangea’s carcass transformed into a continent, and her blood purified the toxic sea.

That said, Vaan was not without solutions.

He could purchase a World Consciousness Embryo from the Grand Exchange Hall and transplant it into Pangea’s core, where its Realm Essence can be found.

By doing this, Pangea can nurture a World Consciousness and transform into a true life planet. Moreover, the process wouldn’t take too long. As such, it still had time to assume the dominant position and reverse the roles of assimilation.

Vaan had already had a look at its price—a whopping ten million contribution points for a single World Consciousness Embryo.

It was certainly not a small number of contribution points.

Despite this sky-high price, the World Consciousness Embryo still had a lot of buyers, especially among the vassal rulers of Tier-9 Star Kingdoms.

After all, the World Consciousness Embryo was one of the main reasons why Chaos had so many life planets.

Without the World Consciousness Embryo, most planets wouldn’t be able to evolve into life planets, and their fate would be to become mining planets, exploited for their resources until they were exhausted and useless.

Such short-term benefits weren’t good for the development of any Star Kingdom.

With finite resources and one less planet to evolve once depleted, Star Kingdoms would have less room to expand and develop. On the other hand, life planets could draw in mana from the void, producing a steady flow of new resources.

After purchasing so much Whisperleaf Grass, Vaan lacked the contribution points to afford the World Consciousness Embryo.

Considering he also needed to purchase magical plants of the other four elements for his Spirits Path cultivation, his contribution points would only decrease further away from the requirement of ten million.

Of course, this shortage of funds wouldn’t exist once he received his reward from the Merit Hall.

Surprisingly, the Merit Hall was still calculating his previous feats.

Evidently, countless new disciples were still benefiting from his recorded lectures online. Unless the stream of breakthroughs brought by his previous lectures ended, the Merit Hall wouldn’t stop counting to give him the most appropriate amount of credits.

Nevertheless, once he received the lump-sum payout from Merit Hall, Vaan believed he would no longer lack the contribution points.

Of course, now that his status has been elevated to the heavens, allowing him to avoid the suppression of other parties due to rivalry and competition, he could also sell some things to the Grand Exchange Hall for contribution points.

Unfortunately, unless he were willing to fork out True Divinity-level items of value, he wouldn’t be able to receive many contribution points, not to mention he would only be short-changing himself and risking his own life.

After all, if he offered anything he obtained from Pangea and Gehenna, the high-level beings of the Myriad Sea God Palace would certainly have many magical spells to pry into their origin and history.

This would reveal much information about himself, potentially bringing a disaster to him and his people.

Although Vaan was currently valued, his mysterious background also played a role. If Empyrean Oceanheart and the other True Divinities discovered his true background, they might not show so much respect and might even try to exploit him.

Such was the way of the world—The weak can only be exploited by the strong if they have no means of deterrence.

’Hm?’

Suddenly, Vaan detected huge changes happening back home through his shared consciousness with Valefor.

At that moment, a huge fleet of uninvited starships appeared in the Gehenna Star System without warning, alarming all of the Great Devils.

Not even Great Devil Thanatos, the Realm Lord, could anticipate their arrival ahead of time.

This was because this huge fleet of starships could not be seen coming from outside the Gehenna Star System. It directly appeared from outside the detection range of Great Devil Thanatos.

"Hyperspace travel... Someone of very high status in the Skymagia Star Kingdom must have arrived," Thanatos determined as his two orb-like soul fires flickered.

Only the Skymagia Royal Family had access to this level of technology, which could enable FTL (faster-than-light) travel.

Ever since Valefor slaughtered the witches from the Nightmare Realm, he had anticipated this day would come.

After all, the Skymagia Royal Family had decreed zero aggression between vassal star realms—not while the Realm War with the Divinesun Star Kingdom was looming on the horizon.

Valefor practically slapped the Skymagia Royal Family’s face when he slaughtered the witches from Nightmare.

"I’m not the troublemaker, so why am I the one targeted?" Thanatos complained to himself.

He was just the Realm Lord of Gehenna in name; the actual ruler and troublemaker was someone else.

Yet, the majority of the Skymagia Royal Family’s starships appeared outside his Shadowcage Territory!

Thanatos did not need nor did he deserve this much attention!

"I’m going back to sleep..." Thanatos muttered to himself, paying no further attention or concern to the Skymagia Royal Family’s huge fleet.

After all, he didn’t need to do anything; someone else would hold up the sky.

While Mephistopheles, Balmodan, and Astarte were alarmed by the sudden threatening presence of royal starships looming over the skies of their territories, Valefor stepped into the void, appearing in front of the fleet’s suspected flagship.

His simple scrutiny caused many beings within the suspected flagship to tremble with fear.

Anyone who could sense his oppressive aura would immediately understand how huge a threat he was. Just the thick, slaughter energy that seemed to suffuse his very being helped everyone understand that he was not some ordinary force they could trifle with.

"Who are you?" a powerful female voice resounded from the suspected flagship’s bridge.

Valefor’s divine sense immediately locked onto the origin of the voice, determining it belonged to a Divine Witch with Peak-stage Divine Knight-level cultivation, which was also the highest on the bridge.

Evidently, this Peak-stage Divine Knight-level Divine Witch was the leader of the fleet.

"You came here without knowing who I am?"

"Could you be... Thanatos, the Realm Lord here?"

"..."

Valefor immediately looked at the beautiful lady, strangely and speechlessly. He had no appreciation for her beauty and simply thought this bag of flesh and bones was an idiot.

To think such fools would arrive without any research.

"State your reasons for coming here. Think carefully before you answer, for they may be your last words," Valefor demanded impatiently.

"...How dare you!"
