The Villain's Story

Chapter 775 - 775: Nocumbra.

“I know you’re awake, Alan.”

There was no response from the one below, Alpha and Beta had returned long ago, but failed to find any of Sabrina’s spatial rings, although they did manage to procure a large bedsheet to cover Alan with.

“…”

He had woken up a while ago, but pretended he was asleep. There were two reasons why, One was because he was embarrassed that he was naked and didn’t have enough time to equip any sort of clothing. He had a lot of clothes in his inventory, but unfortunately, he was unconscious for so long everything had been revealed.

Second, and most important, was because his head was currently resting nicely on Sabrina’s lap, and it was in his best interest that it remained that way. Unfortunately, Sabrina stood up when Alpha threw a bloodied bedsheet on him.

“… Oh, come on.”

“Do you really like me putting your head on my lap that much?”

“Very much.”

He stood up, having equipped a new set of clothes underneath the bedsheet. The special features of his inventory were useful, in these situations.

“… But did you see?”

He asked, as he placed his hands over his family jewels, Sabrina sighed, letting out a smirk.

“Every bit of it.”

“…”

“I’m lying. That’s disgusting.”

“…”

He felt both elated and disappointed at that and finally removed his hands, paying attention to the surroundings. There was nothing really special to see, besides destruction and fire all around.

“Did I do this?”

He pointed at himself, and Sabrina shrugged her shoulders. Alpha and Beta were kneeling as always, something that was getting on her nerves.

“Alright, What happened? I need an explanation, and do I need to kill them or what? Why are they kneeling?”

Alan felt as if he deserved an explanation. The last thing he remembered was Victor consuming his blood, and him losing all control of his body. Everything after that was a blur. He suspected he went into Enlightenment, considering he was still alive and Victor was a… breathing corpse to the side, but he still needed details.

“Crazy Vampire queen sent out many of her artifacts to lure potential successors, the one you got was also one, transported us here, I became a royal vampire, you fought her crazed son who she tortured so he could be a weapon, these two are loyal servants of said vampire queen, and now serve me, they are loyal as they can be, according to Azmakul. I met a future version of myself? Still confused at that myself, oh, and you definitely did all of this… and where did you lose attention?”

She sighed, looking at Alan’s ‘dead-fish’ expression. He stuttered for a moment before responding.

“I didn’t lose attention, I just don’t understand shit, none of that is making any sense.”

She gave him a long hard stare, and said.

“Baby, we fought against a giant the size of a mountain who killed us many times until we finally won, and you don’t believe this?”

He opened his mouth to say something, but closed it soon after, focusing more on the fact Sabrina called him ‘Baby’, that mattered to him most.

He stood still for a moment, scratching his chin in delight as he focused on that word more than anything else, before Sabrina called out to him.

“Give me something to wear from your inventory, this robe isn’t enough. And don’t ask me where my own inventory went… I’ll have to get new rings.”

“… Anything I have won’t fit you at all.”

“Just give me anything! A shirt and some trousers!”

Alan obliged, taking out a simple shirt and some trousers, both which were definitely too big for Sabrina to wear. It wasn’t about height as much as it was about width. He was big, both height and width. Anything he had wouldn’t fit her lithe body as well as she would have wanted.

“Oh…”

He was completely wrong, realizing that Sabrina could wear them like a damn model. There was beauty in front of him, something he had to burn in his eyes… God knew where his communicator went.

He wanted to take a picture badly, but Victor had probably destroyed his communicator. Worse, his spare ones were in his other spatial rings, and he had no idea where they were. They were pretty durable, so the chance of them getting destroyed…

“…”

Alan glanced at his surroundings.

‘Yeah, they are gone.’

A bunch of rings was not surviving a meteor shower like this, he would have to restock all of his rations, items, and everything else he had stored in his spatial rings.

That was a different kind of blow, not necessarily because his finances were bad. It was just a hassle.

‘Whatever, I’ll just get Max to buy it all for me.’

They could make another trip to Earth for a quick break, restock on supplies before resuming these trials again.

All of that could be done later though, for now? He must burn Sabrina wearing his clothes into his eyes, it deserved only that.

Perhaps using dragon eyes would make it an immortal memory? He had to try that once, perhaps now?

“Stop it, and open up the portal to Lanekia, I want to get out of this place and take a bath.”

She stopped for a moment, realizing that the Artic Titan was long gone… she could cast [Clean] on herself, but it wasn’t exactly the same. She didn’t feel [Clean] even if she did use the skill.

Not only that, but she couldn’t go home by asking Alan to open a portal to her house to take a bath there. Her grandfather would never let her leave… Shield was a good option, but both she and Alan were afraid of what Sir Oliver would do.

They had both gone through the proper procedures, but they were still afraid of the principal. It was then, that an idea popped up in her mind.

“Alan. Teleport me into the jade castle, there are baths there I can enjoy~”

“No.”

Unfortunately, she was rejected.

“Why not?”

“… I don’t think I’d be able to stop myself from taking a peek.”

He couldn’t be blamed, he shared senses with all the Jade Capital… It wasn’t as if he wanted to take a peek, he literally couldn’t stop himself from taking one.

Definitely.

“Pervert.”
