Chapter 2020 New Revelations

Chapter 2020  New Revelations

Eos was silent as Circe began to speak, but his attention was immediately drawn to the first words, speaking about the rain of bones in her dreams.

He had created three powerful Incarnation, one died after creating the Origin Realm not too long ago, another went missing after Eos summoned the power of his Final Form for the first time while using the Incarnation as an intermediary and the the last was devoured by Lumen, the wings of Enoch after it told him the secrets of Existence and the origin of Enoch, the Luminious and the power of End.

When his Incarnation entered the Temple of End and met Lumen, the connection between him and Eos was nearly shielded, similar to what was experienced by his missing Incarnation after he used his Final form, and it was the closest clue he had to his missing Incarnation.

The bottom of the Temple of End was located in a space that was at the boundary of Existence. Eos suspected that it was located outside Existence, and it only had a faint connection with this present Existence. The location of this Temple was at the spot where Enoch had ended the previous Existence, and it contained alien materials that could not be found in the present Existence, including the broken hammer and anvil used to end the previous Existence.

Before the conversation between Lumen and his Incarnation, there had been a brief moment when he had received information from a realm that he knew was not inside Existence.

He saw an endless field of bones, so massive that it defied meaning, and he knew that this was the true resting place of all the fallen. Then a loud roar of pain and rage entered his ears, and the vision ended.

Then it returned again as he saw an ocean of blood flowing from a massive cocoon of bones floating in the air; this blood, although it was red like a mortal, still carried a pleasant scent.

Eos had felt both disgust and a profound sense of hunger when he saw this blood, and for a moment, he sensed that the hunger and disgust he was feeling were not his own, and that he had stepped into the shoes of someone else in that instant.

The vision he sensed did not end there, as before long, he saw a cave, and within that cave were glowing yellow eyes that seemed to be searching for something.

He knew that hehad connected with the missing Incarnation, but that was all the information he could draw out as he had to hastily retreat, because he had a terrible intuition that if he allowed those eyes to find him, he would deeply regret it.

Knowing that his Incarnation may likely be with Enoch, Eos had not pushed for more information because he had not understood any of the mechanisms that guided the power of End, and did not know if his actions might lead to reactions that would hurt his cause.

Hearing a dream of falling bones from Circe brought all of these memories to the forefront, and Eos focused on her, and his intent created a wall of silence around them.

She began to talk about her dreams and how they gradually progressed from a dream until they began intruding into her Origin Realm. With her connection with Eos, she knew that what she was receiving was important to him, but an instinct had kept her back from going to him.

Eos frowned inside when he heard this, but remained silent. Unknown to Circe, his main body had already arrived and placed both of them on his palm and waspeering deep into Circe’s Origin as she spoke, looking for any breach in her mental or spiritual defenses

He could find nothing alarming, except for the fact that the loop he created with her when she carried his True Name through time or the Wills of his siblings had created a permanent brand in her soul and consciousness.

Seeing all of this, the main body of Eos took back his palm. Inside Circe’s soul was a connection to him so deep that he knew that tampering with it would lead to the destruction of her soul. There was no way an outside factor would be able to influence her soul without killing her, and so that meant only one thing: the dreams and visions she was having were coming from him, from the lost Incarnation.

“Recently, the visions I have been having have become more frequent and visceral… so visceral that with a thought I can summon… this” flipping her palm, Circe reached into the empty space in front of her and pulled out a piece of bone.

The bone resembled a femur and appeared to be made from ash, and pieces of it were constantly drifting away from it as if it would soon evaporate into nothing.

Eos’s eyes shrank to a dot as he looked at this bone. Its appearance appeared simple, but that was not what he was seeing. Grabbing Circe by the wrist and bringing the hand of the startled woman closer to his face, Eos was frozen in place for hours as he looked at the bone, and Circe, with a contented expression on her face, was focused on his eyes, and how Eos had forgotten that he held her off the ground and was enraptured by whatever he was seeing.

After a while, he shook himself from his daze and looked at Circe, who seemed to have been lost inside his eyes, and gently released her, “Thank you, Circe, you have helped me more than you can ever imagine.”

“Oh, was it all you needed?” she replied in happiness.

“It was,” Eos smiled.

“Great, then I will be returning to my task… a war is coming,” she looked away and rose up into the sky before vanishing into the distance.

Eos looked at her departing figure with a smile, and the smile vanished from his face as he deeply frowned. Turning around, this avatar of his collapsed into dust. Another Avatar was already being created inside a new realm as he began feeding the Origin of Screaming Void with all the Essence it needed to awaken Noctis… he had questions.
