Chapter 2003 Your Time Has Passed
Every previous Existence was massive, but to ninth-dimensional beings, it was not infinite, and for those rare beings who could reach the level of Primordials in the past, they could reach the edges of Existence.
With certain rituals, it was also possible to see its edge; one of the rituals that came to mind was the unknown god who was condemned to suffer torture for all eternity. Using the power of End, his captors were able to chain him at the edge of Existence.
Enoch’s madness in this present Era had created Limbo, an Existence that was ceaselessly expanding and feeding on its edges, perpetually growing.
With the aid of his Archai, Eos had been able to track these changes, and from all the knowledge he had gathered, he knew that this expansion was a great thing for all life in Existence, but certain factions would not want something like this to happen.
An ever-expanding existence would be troubling for the Primordials in the long run. At first, this would benefit them. Their limitless hunger would always be sated, and with more power, they could do whatever they wanted… however, even their endless hunger would not be able to hold back an Existence that would never stop growing.
In the distant future, Existence would expand to such a point that it would exceed the mental scope of the Primordials. By that time, it would be inevitable that various powers that did not have to fear the tyranny of the Primordials would begin to rise.
The ceiling for power in Existence was the Primordial level. In time, the number of Primordials would rise to the extent that quality would become quantity, and it was possible in the distant future that an army made entirely of Primordials would rise against the Ancient Primordials and win.
Perhaps they would lose, but an ever expanding Existence meant that the eventual destruction of the Primordials was inevitable.
However, this would happen so far into the future that it was almost impossible to place a number on the day that the Ancient Primordials would be defeated.
On the other hand, there was a more pressing concern that could not be pushed back: the resurgence of Origin.
Eos, at his present position, understood that Existence itself was not just space and time; at its core was Origin, and the growth of Existence itself would similarly translate to an increase in Origin.
There was a reason why becoming a Primordial was easier in the present Existence, and it was not just the demise of the Luminious, but also the expansion of Existence itself.
Without the presence of the Ancient Primordials, who were tools of End, Existence would have become much greater than before, and the power of Origin would be on the rise.
End was a sentient force of destruction, and it had slowly been choking Origin, and without the presence of certain people, the destruction of all life was all but assured.
Eos knew that this was the key to this entire conflict. If Limbo were to expand a hundred times over, it would only be an inconvenience to the Ancient Primordials, but for the power of End, this was something that could never be allowed to happen.
He knew that the expansion of Existence could still be stopped. It would take a ridiculous amount of power, greater than what Eos could call upon at this time, but it was possible; however, if all of these Origin Realms were shattered, then the expansion of Existence may never be halted anymore.
The bridge Eos was weaving across the Origin Realms was not just to link them all as one so that if one were destroyed, they all would be destroyed; it was also to strengthen these realms.
Rowan had only created a foundation, and it was up to Eos to complete it, because he knew that before long, these realms that appeared like tiny pearls before him would become the sites for devastating battles that would decide the fate of Existence.
He worked extremely quickly, his consciousness following his Will in a precise manner, as he created structures that would baffle the mind of an average Primordial in mere moments.
He could feel certain spots of cold around his body, most of them concentrated around his heart and his head, and he knew they were coming from the Primordials, Death, and the Abomination.
They were now so close, but Eos had been given enough time to work his magic, and he was not a person who should be given time to prepare his plans without interruption, because he would not fail.
A rumble emerged from the realms in front of him as the final bridge was created and solidified. The rumble grew into a deafening roar, and shockwaves that shattered space around Eos emerged from the realms as they slowly began to expand.
From the shape of tiny pearls, they grew to the size of moons, then stars, and their expansion continued. Folding his hands behind him, Eos watched with a smile as the 10,008 realms began emitting so much radiance that this corner of Limbo started to transform.
He almost wanted to sigh in pleasure as the invisible weight that was prevalent across Limbo vanished near the expanding Origin Realms.
The power of End had corrupted Limbo so profoundly that it could be felt even by lower-dimensional immortals, but they did not know what they were feeling and simply believed it was the corruption of the Primordials.
Every Origin Realm was self-sufficient, and linking them all meant that resources could be shared and mutual growth would be sustained. If there were no hindrance to their development, then these Origin Realms would swallow Limbo and become the new face of Existence.
However, how could Eos be satisfied with just something like this, knowing that his enemies could break it down?
Existence seemed to shudder as the Primordials, the General of Death, and the Abomination arrived almost simultaneously. Their gaze was fixed on the expanding Origin Realms, and countless thoughts went through their heads before they all turned to a single figure whose back was to them, observing the expanding realms.
“Good, you are all here,” Eos said, and he slowly turned around, “I would hate to repeat myself.”
The abomination chuckled in anger, a weird sound from its face that resembled a fusion between a beast and an insect, “The success of your Incarnation must have driven you mad, Eos. You think you still have any right to challenge us?”
Eos smiled and flicked his finger, making space ring like a bell. This ripple touched the expanding Origin Realms and travelled through the bridges linking them, creating a sonorous sound that was beautiful, yet it was like a sound of nightmare to the Abomination.
Its eyes widened when it realized the threat Eos was making; he could easily crush all of these Origin Realms, and Limbo would expand past the point of no return.
Nyxara walked forward, “Even if Limbo expands, it buys you only a few decades. How much power do you think you can collect from the Primordial Record in such a short time?”
Eos looked at her like an idiot and sighed, “Despite all of your powers, you still remain… puppets. The expansion of Limbo goes beyond the extension of space, and it is something that your masters understand, now go sit by the side like the good dogs you are, your time has passed.”
