Chapter 1884: Cleansing Reality (4)
Rowan was about to speak when the space beside him trembled, and Sheba frowned as she detected an intrusive presence pushing into her castle’s domain.
Rowan smiled and turned to her, “It’s okay, let him in, Sheba, he was always meant to be here.”
Sheba grimaced as she allowed the presence trying to enter her castle the clearance they needed, and the space inside the meeting hall shuddered as an oval crack opened up a hundred feet above the table, from which a dark shape fell through.
A foot from slamming into the table, the falling shape halted in the air, disregarding the laws of this space. It was covered in darkness that slowly vanished, revealing six beautiful women.
The six women looked around the table, their eyes tracking each of the surrounding people before they focused back on Rowan, and in their eyes, he could see a myriad of emotions, from rage and pain to ultimately appreciation.
They bowed towards him, “The Sirens greet the Creator,” they spoke in unison, and the space at their center folded in upon itself to give birth to a gigantic figure almost twelve feet tall, with seven arms: Thenos. He had not only regained the might which had been denied him from birth, but also brought back his mothers.
He looked around the table, assured of his power. Before he answered the invitation from Rowan, he had ensured that he had brought himself to his best state and had believed that beside Rowan, he would be the most powerful in this gathering, however, as his eyes went from faces to faces, the confidence in his heart wilted, and when he saw Telmus who smiled and nodded at him, that confidence vanished, and he stiffly nodded in return.
Thenos had never been given the chance to be fully conceived by the Primordials before he was killed in the womb. It was during the height of the Primordial Era, when many great powers had been rising against the Primordials. Still, even at the height of that Era, he was sure there were no heroes or powers equal to the ones he was seeing around this table.
One of the Incarnations of Eos, Rowan, had ventured into the Eternal Realm of Thenos, Doom Star, and from there, he had been able to learn many of the secrets of the past. Only now could he fully decipher all of his findings from that realm and see the correlation between this unfortunate Titan and the Primordials.
Rowan gestured for Thenos and the Sirens to take their seats at the table as he introduced them to the others, “I am sure some of you find these women familiar… for a long time, their faces and their cries could be heard throughout the Great Darkness. It was by my actions…”
“Of course, the Sirens of the Frozen Road,” Archimedes called out, interrupting Rowan as he surged to his feet, a fluffy tail that had gone unnoticed began to shake feverishly behind him. “I heard your songs when I first entered Reality and… Ow!” Pulling his ears to drag him back to his seat, Circe mouthed an apology to Rowan while sending mental messages chastising the exuberant Lightning Kirin.
Rowan smiled at Archimedes and continued his introduction, “Yes, these are the Sirens whose heads were used as a gateway to channel the power of the Frozen Road throughout the Great Darkness, but that is just what is known on the surface. With them is Thenos, a Breaker like me, and like me, he also has a Singularity. I am aware that some of you may not be familiar with the details, and I intend to reveal the truth to all of you on this day. The purpose of this meeting is twofold: to reveal the secrets of the past and to outline the direction we will be taking in the future. There is no more time for preparation, and now is the time for action. What I am going to be asking of you all would be to give everything you have, for the time of half measures is over.”
Gesturing towards Thenos and the six Sirens, “Now, these are the truths that you need to know. In the Primordial Era, the Primordials entered this castle, and they most likely sat in this hall,” he paused and looked at Sheba, who nodded, Rowan corrected himself, “Scratch that last statement, they did sit in this place, and discussed the future of this Reality, but it was not a future for all, but for them alone.”
“All of you here have fought the Primordials; if that were not the case, you would not be here at this table.” Rowan’s voice heard all those at the table in a grip, but they knew that this was just the beginning,
“All of you here now understand the power of the Primordials, but there are many truths you do not know, but in all of Reality, you are the ones closer to the ninth dimensional level, and this makes you deserving of understanding these truths, because it is very likely that by the time we gather here again, most, if not all of us might be dead. This is your last opportunity to withdraw if you wish. If you do, there shall be no persecution against you. In fact, I will ensure that a special dimension is made for you and will guarantee you peace for as long as necessary.”
Rowan went silent, allowing them all to digest his words. The following steps he was about to take were highly radical, and he would not force anyone to sail on this ship with him if they were not willing.
“If we chose this other option, Rowan, if we run,” the rumbling voice of Thenos shook the air, “How long can we preserve our peace?”
“Above you, the faces of the Primordials are gone, and it is not because they had forgotten us; instead, they are focused on other pressing issues. At this time, there is a war ongoing in Limbo, and if not for me safeguarding the entirety of this Reality, you would be feeling the ripples of that battle, and most mortal and immortal beings under the sixth-dimensional level would already be dead.” A pause and the Rowan continued, “With this in mind, to answer your question Thenos, I believe that you may have peace for a single Mjor Era in real time, with your powers, you can stretch that time to a hundred thousand Major Era if you wished for it, I can even extend my power and quadruple than number, so, you all would have enough time, more than most would ever get to be free.”
This was a very long time to be free, since most sitting at this table had not lived for a fraction of that number, and for them, such a length of time could as well be forever. The Sirens glanced at their son, an unknown message being passed across their ranks. “And then, after that… what happens to us that remains?” Thenos spoke softly.
Rowan smiled sadly, “For those who did not resist the Primordials and waited for their era of peace to expire… You will pray for death, and it will not come. You may not be aware of the situations of the Primordials, but their state of being has undergone a change. Previously, they had been suppressed by the curse of their greed, but now, that curse has been broken. They are now truly free to act, and they had spent countless eternities gathering poison in their hearts, and now the concept of good and fairness is a foreign concept to them; they would break everything and celebrate the end of all things.”
Eva, who had been quiet since the meeting began, perked up when she heard that the Primordials had changed. The actions of Rowan were drastically different from the projection he had previously made, and she needed answers.
