Chapter 1550 1550: The River of Time
Moving many times faster than light, the lightning bolt easily penetrated the entire storm without any loss in momentum or essence. It escaped outside the Magus Supreme world, traveling deep into Reality.
After the lightning passed through the ocean of rain and storm, the descending calamity seemed to momentarily pause in midair before it exploded into steam that covered the entire Magus realm, making the gigantic planet that resembled a sun turn a shade of gray.
A new storm began to brew inside the heavy mist, but it was no longer the realm-destroying storm of before; instead, it was gentle, almost nourishing.
The heavy mist covered the entire realm, and even without breathing it in, the fog could be easily absorbed through the skin. It was unknown who was the first to feel its effects, but intense cries of surprise began to erupt from the entire realm. Before long, massive booming sounds like an earthquake began to arise from every corner of the realm as billions of mages began to simultaneously break through.
The shape of the lightning bolt after dispersing the storm inside the world of mages did not change; it simply rose like a star and vanished into the darkness.
There was a moment of silence, during which Reality seemed to have held its breath, and then the lightning bolt that had traveled for millions of light years exploded.
“Boom!!!”
A silver sun appeared at the spot of the explosion and began to expand, its bright light seen by many dimensions close to the Supreme World of Mages. Then, with a resounding roar, the silver sun exploded.
A circular shockwave, like the ripple of a gigantic heartbeat inside an ocean, was blasted out by this shockwave, and it began to spread all through reality with a speed that defied meaning.
This ripple crossed countless dimensions, and whenever it reached a location with a storm, it shattered it into mist. It continued spreading, drawing power from the storms that were broken and expanding even faster with every new dimension that it touched.
It was easily discernible that this ripple would be able to reach every corner of existence as long as it continued drawing power from the storm.
In those dimensions where the ripples of that explosion reached the inhabitants, they began to rapidly break through into higher levels, and Reality began to vibrate with so many emerging dominions that it began to shake.
This was not a minor tremor that could be sensed on a single dimension; no, this was all the dimensions, all of reality, from the lower realms to the higher realms. Everything was shaking.

Before activating the plans he had with Andar, Rowan had decided to allow Reality to slowly come to terms with what the storm had brought. The first step of this process was to take a decade in the least before the new state of Reality becomes the norm.
With such a time frame, it would be easy for him to adjust the plans to fit the situation that came up as he waited for the responses from the Primordial Domains; however, he no longer had such a privilege.
Endirius, a Primordial Beast, had set his gaze upon Rowan. If his plans were to have any hope of success, Rowan would have to rapidly change them while the Primordial Beast still waited for his trap to slam shut.
The lightning bolt released by Andar was only supposed to shatter the storm in this realm alone and show the mages the power that it now contained, but Rowan was turning this plan on its head, and he took control of the lightning bolt after it left the atmosphere of the world of mages.
There were a lot of eyes on this realm, and they had seen the effects of the Primordial Aether that had just flooded this realm, and with the ripple from the detonation of the lightning bolt rapidly reaching every dimension in Reality, it would not be long before Primordial Essence would spread in every dimension.
A situation like Ghribba, the Silver Queen, who decimated her entire realm to hide the truth behind the storm, would never happen, as Rowan was choosing to reveal it all to the masses.
With such a drastic and unexpected action, he knew that Endirius would no longer be patient enough to hide his fangs, and this was what Rowan wanted.
“Andar, prepare yourself for what is to come. Know that I am with you.”
Rowan no longer released five percent of the Primordial Aether he was receiving; he directly boosted it to twenty percent!

Andar did not know what to expect when he released his Heart’s Lightning towards the storm; he only followed the unvoiced will in his heart, which he knew came from his father.
The moment he released the lightning, he could feel a vast invisible Will take control of it, and when the storm shattered and mist filled with Primordial Aether flooded his body, Andar’s powerful mind had finally caught up to the change that was about to come over Reality.
With Rowan’s bloodline in his veins, he had been able to easily reach the sixth-dimensional level in a million years, and this delay was only because he was refining his foundations.
If this was not important to him, Andar understood that he may have already become an Old One with the incredible foundations of his bloodline. However, when he took in a single breath of this new air that had filled the Magus World, a sense of profound wisdom and the power to actualize that wisdom filled his body.
There was no rejection; it was as if the heavens had opened up their secrets for him to collect, and even if he refused, they were pushing that power into his body.
If it were a lesser immortal, then this power would be a strange thing to them, but Andar was among the few who had tasted the power of Primordial Aether as a mortal after the universe baptized him on his achievement of creating a Named Treasure.
The baptism of dozens of droplets of Primordial Aether had reshaped his body and boosted his talent, granted this change was only possible because Andar’s bloodline had great potential, and this Aether had only accelerated his growth.
That change alone had been one of the foundations of his rise, but what he received at that time for his outstanding achievement was equal to taking a breath in this new air.
Every breath was a baptism that sent countless shockwaves through his body, and his mouth opened in astonishment. Where was all this power coming from? How was his father doing this?
A painful thought entered his mind, and he shook it off, knowing that it was not possible. He had been thinking that this was only possible because Rowan was sacrificing the Aether inside his body and giving it to Reality.
With his father’s foundations, such a thing was indeed possible. It was only inside his dimension that Andar realized what it meant to hold infinite power, but he knew that Rowan had a greater purpose ahead, and he would not sacrifice his strength for no reason.
There must be something more to this change, and he would find out what it is. He could not allow his father to suffer losses on this journey because Andar believed that Reality did not stand any chance against its ultimate hidden enemies without Rowan.
Andar knew that Reality was about to change; he had all but announced the end of this Era and the beginning of a new one, but he had no idea that the change coming would be so… monumental.
His talent had always been perverse in comparison to the rest of Reality, and if his senses could be triggered this deeply by the Primordial Aether in the air, how much more would this change be like for every Magus in the realm who had not come across this sort of power before?
He could feel billions of breakthroughs happening at the same time, and Andar was almost frozen in place at the sheer majesty that this sight provoked.
Acolytes were becoming Mages, Mages were becoming Archmages, and those Archmages at the peak of their rank who had been endlessly waiting for the chance to step into the higher-dimensional realm saw the path opened before them.
Time descended. Space was shattered, and the heavens wept in pain and exultation as the pain of expanding its dominion stretched it to the limits, and Reality began to vibrate.
Rowan had seen Will Chains stretch across eternity when he was inside Doom Star, but Andar and most arguably nearly all immortals in existence had not seen this sight, but when sixty peak-level Archmages began to simultaneously break into the fourth-dimensional level, something that had never happened in this Era, the heavens tore open and the River of Time was revealed.
Trillions of chains bound it, and some broke away from the river, carrying a pool of time with them as they descended towards the Archmages below.
Such a sight broke the minds of many lesser mages. It was tough for an immortal to make this transition to the higher-dimensional realm, but Primordial Aether not only brought power, it also brought wisdom.
If this change had happened on this realm alone, this would have been something that would shake all of creation, but from Andar’s connection with the Aethernet, he knew that the ripples of Heart Lightning’s explosion was traveling throughout Reality and this change he was experiencing would be happening in all of the realms!
