Chapter 1009 - Demon King Transformation, Fourth Stage

The Light Ring could convert any element into light-attribute energy for absorption. Unfortunately, while this was practical for most players and units, it was redundant for Han Wu, as his Conversion Jurisdiction could already transform any elemental attribute into another.

V arrived shortly after. He and the Epistians had finally completed the design blueprints for the Supreme Power. The original’s construction cost was enormous and required several materials from unknown sources, so building an exact replica was out of the question.

After studying the Supreme Power’s operating mechanisms, V and the Epistians had produced three modified design drafts. The first was a scaled-down version with a projected strength at the Microcosm rank, and would cost 8,000 Divine Essence. The second was a further reduced version at Heavenrender rank for 1,000 Divine Essence. Finally, the third was the most stripped-down, at Sage rank for 200 Divine Essence.

Han Wu examined the blueprints. They were all rather expensive. Even the cheapest option, at 200 Divine Essence, could fund the cultivation of two or three Sage rank units. Admittedly, though, he could build puppets faster than he could raise units.

Considering his finances, Han Wu told V to hold off on mass production and build a few prototypes first. If the results were good, they could pitch the idea to the Wealth Faction for investment and only start mass-producing it once he had enough capital. Using other people’s Divine Essence to build his own enterprise was Han Wu’s favorite way of doing business.

While reviewing the blueprints, V noticed the Light Ring sitting nearby and got Han Wu’s permission to examine it. As he studied it, V mentally combined its function with the concept of Divine Weapons, immediately coming up with several design improvements.

After some thought, V proposed using the Light Ring as the Supreme Power’s energy source. This would dramatically reduce operating costs and potentially add both offensive and defensive capabilities.

Han Wu naturally approved. The Light Ring was useless to him, so any upgrade it could give the Supreme Power was a net gain. Nodding, V took the ring and left.

Not long after, a dragon’s roar echoed across Han Wu’s divine realm. Han Wu rushed to the source. It was the Golden Tree.

During the battle against the Light God King, Han Wu had deliberately held back his dragon forces. They were his trump cards. After returning from the White Soul Civilization, he had combined the concept of kingship he had learned there with the Golden Tree’s blessings and given the dragons a bloodline ascension path. He called this operation: Raising Dragon Kings.

Black Dragon King Alpheus had led the dragons in implementing the whole thing. After days of experimentation, it had finally produced results. Han Wu arrived to find every dragon in the realm surrounding Smog, the Golden Great Dragon, as it ascended to become the Golden Dragon King.

Smog had always been powerful. When he first joined Han Wu, he had already been a mature Great Dragon. The abundant resources in Han Wu’s divine realm only accelerated his growth. After ascending as the Golden Dragon King, his strength now surged to just one step below the Subcosm rank.

Han Wu was pleased that Smog had become stronger, but more importantly, this proved the path to kingship worked. The dragons could use it to produce other Dragon Kings, such as Ice Dragon Kings, Lightning Dragon Kings, Silver Dragon Kings, and more.

After ascending, Smog noticed Han Wu’s presence, and a deep gratitude welled up within him. If not for Han Wu, Smog would likely still be eating and sleeping in another civilization.

Smog offered Han Wu a drop of his refined blood essence to show his appreciation. Han Wu’s Defier title granted him partial Great Dragon bloodline, allowing him to absorb Great Dragon blood and gain Great Dragon abilities.

He had previously combined this with the Demon King Transformation to unlock Second Stage transformations, which included his True Black Dragon King Transformation and True Fire Dragon King Transformation.

After absorbing Smog’s blood essence, a third branch appeared. The True Golden Dragon King Transformation. In this new battle form, Han Wu’s body became incredibly tough, and his physical attacks received a massive boost.

While testing the new form, something unexpected happened. The abundance of high-quality Great Dragon bloodlines had the power in his body surging beyond his control, pushing his Demon King Transformation toward a higher stage.

Silver Dragon Erebard, the eldest among the Great Dragons, recognized what was happening. He called every Great Dragon to surround Han Wu and donate their purest blood essence to accelerate the breakthrough.

Erebard, Ice Dragon Leng Ning, Great Lightning Dragon Bakir, Wicked Dragon Veritas, and more all poured their blood essence into Han Wu, driving the dragon attribute within the Demon King Transformation into explosive growth.

Dragon scales of shifting elements appeared across Han Wu’s skin, and his body grew larger, transforming into a full Great Dragon form. Terrifying Dragon Fear radiated outward.

Every unit in the divine realm felt it and knew their God was growing stronger. In their excitement, they all bowed and offered their Faith Points in worship.

Their Faith Points entered Han Wu’s body, further accelerating his growth. Three days later, he completed the transformation. The Demon King Transformation had advanced to its Fourth Stage thanks to the blood essence of the Great Dragons.

Han Wu named it the True Holy Dragon King Transformation.
