Chapter 1007 - New Clone Han Guang

Chapter 1007 - New Clone Han Guang

Han Wu personally destroyed Elina’s divine realm and sealed her powers, then watched as Jia Gui brought her into his divine realm.

“If she ever leaves, or I hear that she’s been causing trouble, you know what’ll happen,” Han Wu warned.

Jia Gui broke into a cold sweat. His fear of Han Wu had seeped into his very bones.

“Brother Han Wu, I’d sooner betray myself than betray you,” Jia Gui said desperately.

Once Han Wu dismissed him with a nod, Jia Gui immediately activated his Concealment Jurisdiction and slipped away.

Han Wu and Jing Jing extended their senses outward and detected massive numbers of non-Light Faction units swarming the area. Some players even targeted them, but they quietly backed off the moment Han Wu summoned Steely and allowed him to release his full Subcosm rank aura.

Even if they didn’t recognize Han Wu, they still understood one thing. A person with a Subcosm rank unit was not someone to provoke. After all, they were here either for revenge or to loot, not to fight to their death.

With Steely standing guard, Han Wu and Jing Jing summoned their own units and started hauling resources back to their divine realms. A few Light Faction members tried to resist. Each time they did, Han Wu simply gained another Divine Jurisdiction embryo and a few more Divine Aspects. At this point, he was almost hoping a Major God or even a God King would step up.

Unfortunately, few were foolish enough to try. After half a day of systematic looting, the Light Faction’s headquarters had literally been stripped down to the ground, with every building either carried off or demolished. The Light Faction’s headquarters no longer existed.

News of the destruction reached the War Faction while the War God King Zhong Heng was in the middle of a meeting. When he heard the report, he nearly flipped the table.

The Light Faction had been a powerful ally he had been ingratiating himself with. He had been counting on their usefulness after absorbing the resources gained from destroying the Dark Faction. That plan was obviously dead now. The Light Faction had followed the Dark Faction into oblivion.

“Who did this?” Zhong Heng questioned his scouts.

“No confirmed identity of the perpetrator yet, Your Majesty, but we did receive one piece of intelligence. When the headquarters fell, Lord Invictus was inside,” the scout reported.

“Invictus?” Zhong Heng frowned. It took him a few seconds to match the name to Han Wu’s face. “Han Wu... That traitor! His presence at the headquarters proves he looted Light Faction resources. He’s becoming dangerously capable. We need to be on guard.”

Pious stepped forward from behind Zhong Heng. “Rest assured, Father. If Han Wu dares to interfere with your plans, he’ll have to go through me first.”

These words naturally pleased Zhong Heng. Pious always knew exactly what to say. Having an adopted son like him was more than he could ever ask for.

“Pious, contact the Destruction Clan and Nine Eyes. I need to discuss what to do about Han Wu. Also, pass a message to the Life God King. His chances of defeating the Death God King are slim enough as is. He’d better not waste this opportunity.”

“As you command, Father,” Pious said, immediately departing to carry out his orders.

Three days passed. Han Wu was still in his divine realm, sorting through the resources he had taken from the Light Faction’s headquarters. Damaged building materials and shattered Divine Weapon fragments went into the Refiner. The crystals produced were used to nurture various units in his divine realm.

Next came the Divine Jurisdiction embryos and Divine Aspects. The latter he simply distributed to units with high potential and compatibility. The former, however, required an even higher level of compatibility to absorb, so whether his units could use them came down to luck.

After dealing with the smaller items, he finally moved on to the main event: the Light God King’s corpse.

Even a God’s corpse was a treasure. A God King’s corpse was on another level entirely. Moreover, this particular God King had been extraordinarily powerful.

Han Wu was already planning to convert it into a new clone. He had created a clone from a God’s corpse and named it Han Wen, but then the Will of the Hell Civilization had taken over its body, and subsequent fighting destroyed it completely.

All that aside, the Light God King’s corpse would make for truly extravagant clone material.

He ran a full diagnostic on the corpse and confirmed it was viable. Drawing on his previous experience, Han Wu didn’t hesitate to start the conversion, infusing various materials into the body to strengthen it.

The clone born from the Light God King’s corpse was soon completed. Han Wu named him Han Guang[1] as he was born of the Light God King’s corpse.

Han Wu also gained information about Han Guang after he completed him. As he reviewed Han Guang’s attributes, his eyes went wide. “These stats are insane!”
