The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2376: The Immortal Knight’s success

Chapter 2376: The Immortal Knight’s success

The hole in the Wall of Fire and Flesh finally closed, sealing the battlefield away from the void. Yet the image of those Root Dragons remained carved into the hearts of the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe. Their presence alone had been overwhelming—entities whose authority was powerful enough to kill any of them with a single strike.

And the worst thing was that they were not even able to glance at the one who unleashed such monsters.

The tension lingered, thick and heavy.

Before fear or doubt could take root, Cain turned to face the gathered forces. His body was wounded, his energy nearly depleted, and his regeneration barely holding together. Even so, the aura he released commanded immediate attention and respect.

"The enemy is stronger," Cain said calmly, his voice firm and unwavering. "There is no denying that."

The warriors stiffened, eyes fixed on him.

"But they only dared to reveal themselves now," he continued, his gaze sharpening. "And that alone proves their limitations."

A spark ignited.

Immediately, the eyes of the warriors glowed, and small smiles began to spread across their faces as they nodded in agreement. The truth of the Scarlet King’s words resonated deeply.

"It doesn’t matter how many challenges they throw at us," Cain declared. "We will succeed. And today, we celebrate our first major victory—because we destroyed the surface of the enemy’s world!"

The Scarlet King raised his fist high.

The reaction was explosive.

Roars of triumph erupted as warriors laughed, shouted, and slammed their weapons together, exhilaration burning through exhaustion. The destruction of the First Layer of the World of the Root was more than symbolic—it was proof that the enemy could bleed, that they could win.

Seeing the surge in morale, a rare, satisfied smile appeared on the Scarlet King’s face.

Victory needed to feel real. Belief was as vital as power. It was that belief that had driven the warriors to burn through their reserves without hesitation and shatter the foundation of an enemy world.

"Rest for now," Cain commanded. "We will strike again soon. And together, we will burn this disease from our universe."

Cold brutality shone in his eyes—and it was mirrored perfectly in the gazes of the warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance. Their hatred for the Root deepened, but so did their confidence.

Without delay, Cain dispersed the army, sending them back to recover. Then, without waiting a second, he marched directly toward the Everstrife Empyrean World.

The moment he arrived in the throne room and found himself alone, Cain collapsed to the ground.

He had no strength left.

The battle had been brutal beyond measure. Forcing the Gate of Babylon to explode had pushed him to his limits, had caused severe internal damage—damage even the Samsara Immortal Body could not heal instantly.

Fortunately, within the Scarlet Crown, Ao and Aioro immediately summoned the vitality and energies of the Everstrife Empyrean World, channeling them into Cain’s body and soul. Streams of life force flowed continuously, slowly knitting him back together.

---

Minxet’s eyes narrowed as he observed the steady flow of life force streaming into the throne room day after day. A complicated expression crossed his face as he realized the extent of the damage the Scarlet King must have suffered.

There was nothing he could do to assist directly.

So instead, he focused on his duty.

Stepping forward, Minxet fixed his gaze on the five Prima Deities standing before him.

"You five have succeeded in all your trials," he said evenly. "You have demonstrated outstanding talent, battle strength, and wisdom."

He paused, turning his attention to the man standing in the center.

"Especially you, Conor. Your battlefield tactics and mental resilience under pressure are admirable."

The remaining Prima Deities showed no envy or resentment. Instead, they nodded with sincere smiles. Conor’s performance had been exceptional.

"I am honored by your words, Chief Counselor," Conor replied, bowing respectfully. "My only wish is to grow powerful enough to stand beside our warriors against the dangers of the universe."

Resolve blazed in his eyes. Devotion and fearlessness radiated from his very soul—so strongly that even Minxet felt a swell of pride.

Of course, this valiant warrior was none other than Sozing, the Immortal Knight of the Tenth Empyrean World.

It had taken immense effort, but Sozing had forged a convincing legend around himself. He had built bonds with hundreds within the Everstrife Empyrean World, earned the right to enter the Crown Tournament, and risen to stand among the top five warriors.

"Here are your rewards," Minxet announced.

With a wave of his hand, space rings flew toward each of the Prima Deities. As they inspected their contents, their eyes widened in awe and excitement at the ArchDeity Treasures inside.

For someone like Sozing, the items themselves were not extraordinary—but his acting skills were impeccable. Surprise and exhilaration appeared flawlessly on his face.

"You also have a residence within the Scarlet Crown," Minxet continued. "And access to all its facilities."

With that, Minxet dismissed them.

The five Prima Deities clasped their fists and bowed deeply before departing the chamber. As they gazed upon the grandeur of the Scarlet Crown—now their home—they felt a mixture of pride and reverence. This was where the highest life forms of the Scarlet Kingdom resided. The domain of the Scarlet King himself—the strongest existence in the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance.

Sozing exchanged a few words with the group before departing alone.

He walked calmly through the streets, behaving exactly as someone overwhelmed by a new world should. His posture was relaxed, his expression curious.

But inside his mind, thoughts raced.

"Those three warriors..." Sozing thought grimly. "They are a completely new obstacle in my path."

Markin had already informed him of everything that occurred during the last incursion.

"They wield power rivaling Alpha-Omega Overgods," he continued silently. "And they fight as if their lives are meaningless."

The situation was becoming increasingly dangerous.

Yet Sozing’s resolve hardened.

No matter the obstacles.

No matter the risks.

The Immortal Knight would succeed.
