The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2354: Cain vs Anark

Chapter 2354: Cain vs Anark

Cain’s smile grew radiant as he reviewed his stats. Although he had yet to achieve the final level of the Doomsday Arts, he had advanced greatly within the Second Level.

The endurance of his flesh and muscles was now almost on par with that of a Late Alpha–Omega Overgod Treasure, and that also translated into greater defenses for his soul and mind.

As for his Ego Wave, it had more than doubled. And it was not merely a matter of quantity.

The quality of his power had undergone a fundamental transformation.

The Lucid Dream and his Alter-Ego now existed on an entirely new level, greatly enhancing every ability and force he could unleash through the Ego Eternal Path of Power’s Resurreccion.

Each thought carried greater authority. Each act of will resonated more deeply with reality itself.

"The evolution of my Primordial Path also strengthened my body," Cain murmured softly. "And I can feel my Astral and Essence cultivation making significant strides forward... approaching the Middle Stage."

Seeing such comprehensive growth brought Cain a profound sense of reassurance, which was greatly appreciated. He was no longer in the Crimson World, where the Demon King and great True Depravitas carried the burden of leadership.

The Scarlet King was in the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe, and the true weight of the universe rested squarely upon his shoulders.

He needed to be the spearhead that would pierce the World of the Root.

Everyone was looking to him to lead.

It was an immense burden—but one he had to face head-on. And this surge of power was exactly the boost of confidence he needed.

Taking a deep breath, Cain began to condense his aura, sealing every trace of it within himself until not even a single ripple escaped. Then, taking a single step forward, he vanished from the chamber.

The moment Cain appeared in the sky above the Scarlet Crown, all eyes turned toward him. Even with his aura concealed, it was impossible not to feel the overwhelming pressure he exuded. The laws and rules of the universe itself seemed to strain subtly under his presence.

Cain glanced at his people with a wide smile before shifting his gaze toward Anark, a meaningful light flickering in his eyes.

When the True Primordial of the Void saw that look, his eyes sharpened. He nodded once, then rose into the void beyond the world.

Cain smiled faintly as he stepped forward, appearing beside him in the void. Instantly, his form shifted as he activated Resurreccion.

The power-up appearance had not changed drastically, but the power radiating from him had increased immensely. Two new features stood out clearly.

First, the Wings of Chaos had become fully integrated into Resurreccion, easing the burden of actively channeling the Power of Chaos. Their presence stabilized and amplified his form.

Second, a new star floated alongside his Stars of Origin.

It was scarlet in color, and when one focused on it closely, the faint image of the Scarlet Throne could be seen within. This allowed the scarlet dimension to nurture Cain from both the inside and the outside simultaneously, reinforcing his existence on multiple levels.

Anark could clearly feel the immense rise in strength that Cain’s Resurreccion now carried. Taking a deep breath, massive waves of World Strength flowed into his body, reinforcing his already overwhelming physical might.

The two Primordials stared at one another in silence.

Then they flashed forward.

Their first collision shook the void itself, generating massive cracks that spread outward in all directions. Had this clash occurred within the Everstrife Empyrean Worlds—even in the highest layers of the sky—the destruction would have damaged the very matrix of the world.

What amazed all who observed was that neither Cain nor Anark was using offensive abilities.

They relied solely on the power of their flesh and bones.

Explosion after explosion echoed across the void as Cain and Anark collided again and again. Although his memories were still somewhat foggy, Anark’s primordial battle instincts and awareness were unparalleled—something no being in the universe could truly challenge.

Yet, thanks to The Flow, Cain was able to see through Anark’s movements, keeping himself just one step ahead of the True Primordial of the Void. It was incredibly challenging, barely giving him enough time to counter each exchange.

But with every clash, Cain refined his style.

His mental capabilities had risen to an overwhelming level following the evolution of his Ego Eternal Path of Power, and when combined with The Flow, he began dissecting Anark’s battle style in real time.

After fifteen minutes, a shockwave blasted across the void as Cain managed to land a direct blow on the True Primordial of the Void.

Anark was genuinely surprised.

Not only did the strike carry astonishing physical power, but it was executed with such flawless technique that he could only react to it after it had landed.

Of course, the True Primordial of the Void did not falter after a single blow. His focus sharpened further as the battle continued. However, the longer the exchange dragged on, the more Cain’s advantage became apparent.

Until finally—

Cain landed four consecutive strikes in rapid succession, sending Anark flying backward through the void.

The battle came to a halt.

The two Primordials steadied themselves and gazed at one another before nodding in mutual acknowledgment. This had been nothing more than a test—a display of strength meant to gauge how far they had each advanced.

And it was clear that the Scarlet King had finally surpassed the True Primordial of the Void without relying on external forces such as Tribulation Flames.

Of course, claiming that Cain could definitively defeat Anark would be an overstatement. If both unleashed the full extent of their abilities and cultivation, the outcome could still change.

But there was no need for that.

They were allies.

And there was someone who really deserved their killing intent.

With a single glance at Anark and the assembled powerhouses of the Scarlet Kingdom, Cain turned and vanished in a flash of scarlet light, charging toward the World of the Root.
