The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2292: Oniric Truth of Cataclysm

Chapter 2292: Oniric Truth of Cataclysm

Cain’s True Name and soul began to grow stronger with every passing heartbeat as the Crimson World Matrix nurtured him. Golden threads of reality sank into his existence, weaving themselves into the very core of his being. Sealing Urin within his Fourth Astral Black Hole had pushed his Neo-Demon Path to the next stage, elevating him firmly into the Late ArchDeity Rank. Yet that was only part of the gain.

Everything Urin had been—every fragment of her cultivation, every shred of her comprehension—now belonged to him.

Her understanding of the Oniric Truths flowed freely into Cain’s soul, merging seamlessly with his Dream. The transfer was absolute. There was no resistance, no loss. It was as if her entire existence had been distilled and poured into him.

"Hahahaha... amazing!"

Cain laughed openly, his voice echoing across the shattered sky. Power surged through his veins like molten fire, and his Dream responded eagerly, expanding and refining itself. Quantity had always mattered, but quality was supreme—and among Urin’s inheritances was one of extraordinary value.

The Oniric Truth of Cataclysm.

One of the foundational pillars of the Imperium Dream.

As the Crimson World Matrix continued to flood his being with power, Cain slowly lowered his gaze toward the battlefield below. The ArchDeities of the Freedom Path had not even finished processing Urin’s annihilation when they felt it—the shift in the air, the pressure of a predator locking onto its prey.

Their hearts seized.

The moment Cain’s eyes fell upon them, terror erupted.

Without exchanging a single word, the remaining ArchDeities scattered in all directions, burning Origin Power, life force, and even fragments of their souls just to escape. They fled without dignity, without strategy—driven purely by instinct.

Zarazel, Meylin, and the other ArchDeities of the Life Path were utterly exhausted. Their auras flickered weakly, their bodies pushed well past their limits. They could not pursue.

But Cain could.

He had just been reborn in power.

"BOOM!"

The earth itself screamed as a scarlet comet crashed down from the sky.

One of the Late ArchDeities of the Freedom Path was struck head-on, driven into the ground with cataclysmic force. Every bone in his body shattered simultaneously, his defensive barriers collapsing as if they had never existed.

Before he could even form a coherent thought, scarlet flames pierced directly into his Soul Dimension, detonating from within. His consciousness vanished instantly.

Cain seized the unconscious ArchDeity by the throat as the Scarlet Throne manifested behind him—vast, ancient, and merciless. Without hesitation, Cain hurled the man into it, sealing his fate for eternity.

Cain did not pause.

He turned mid-motion, wings flaring, and vanished once more.

The second ArchDeity barely had time to scream before Cain appeared before her. Panic twisted her expression as she burned her life force, unleashing a torrent of lightning powerful enough to annihilate a moon.

Cain walked through it.

The mantle of destruction surrounding him—fueled by the Imperium Dream—tore the lightning apart. He seized her neck, his eyes blazing as he invaded her mind with overwhelming force, paralyzing her completely.

A heartbeat later, she too was cast into the Scarlet Throne.

Silence followed.

Cain hovered in the sky and scanned the horizon. The ArchDeities were already far away from him, but also from each other, as they split in different directions, increasing their chances of survival.

"There’s only time for one more."

Cain kicked off the air and became a meteor.

The fleeing ArchDeity sensed death approaching and roared in desperation, swinging his halberd wildly as arcs of devastating energy tore through the sky. Each strike carried immense power—enough to level small continents.

Cain shattered every single one.

His expression remained cold and absolute as he closed the distance. Yet just as Cain reached out, the ArchDeity’s eyes ignited with madness.

His Origin Power went berserk.

Cain’s pupils contracted.

The ArchDeity detonated himself.

"BOOOOOOM!"

The explosion engulfed Cain completely. His Crimson Wings snapped shut around his body as the shockwave hurled him through the sky. Space itself warped under the force, and it took several seconds before Cain regained control.

When the flames faded, he unfolded his wings and gazed upon the sea of destruction left behind.

Cain remained silent before nodding with recognition.

There was no mercy in his heart for enemies, but he could acknowledge resolve. The ArchDeity had chosen the only escape left to him. A swift death was preferable to eternal imprisonment within the Scarlet Throne.

Drawing a steady breath, Cain circulated the vitality pouring from the Scarlet Throne throughout his body. Strength, energy, and life surged through him in waves.

Then he returned to the old battlefield.

The warriors of the Life Path looked up as Cain descended, his presence overwhelming yet reassuring. His smile was wide, radiant, and unmistakably victorious.

"We won."

The words struck like thunder.

For years, the ArchDeities of the Life Path had known only retreat and loss. The Freedom Path had dominated the Second Realm, pushing them closer to extinction with every passing campaign.

That era had ended.

Urin’s true death dealt a crippling blow to the Freedom Path. Until the Ancient One personally dispatched another Alpha-Omega Overgod, there was no one left who could stop their advance.

And even that was uncertain.

The higher realms were already embroiled in escalating wars, their battles growing ever more explosive. Diverting forces to the Second Realm might simply be impossible.

"Move."

Zarazel’s voice rang out, sharp and commanding.

Despite their exhaustion, the ArchDeities of the Life Path straightened. This was their moment. With Urin gone, the Eternal Kingdoms forged by the Freedom Path were exposed—ripe for destruction and reclamation.

They advanced with renewed determination.

Meylin glanced at Cain briefly, concern flickering across her eyes. His power was unstable, still surging and evolving. But when she saw his calm smile and steady nod, she turned and followed the army without hesitation.

Cain remained in the sky.

He closed his eyes.

The Crimson World Matrix continued to envelop him, its golden threads reinforcing his soul and True Name. Slowly, deliberately, Cain descended into Urin’s memories—seeking answers.
