The Epic Tale of Chaos vs Order

Chapter 2264: Today, we stop the apocalypse!

Chapter 2264: Today, we stop the apocalypse!

Silence reigned in the void along the outermost frontier of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe. It was a silence so complete that even cosmic tides seemed to hold their breath—until the fabric of space shuddered. A pulse of force rippled outward, and in that instant, thousands of figures materialized across the void, each arrival bending reality around them.

A crushing pressure spread immediately. It rolled across the darkness like a tidal wave, announcing the full, unrestrained power of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe Alliance.

At the rear of the army stood giant entities forged entirely from runic might. Even the weakest among them housed a single Prima Deity as their core, surrounded by hundreds of thousands of Divine Transcendent Masters. Though their combat ability rested only at the Limit Prima Deity Rank, their vitality and endurance rivaled that of true ArchDieties. That alone granted them the right to stand on this battlefield without instantly collapsing under its weight.

After them came the next echelon: the Runic War Avatars whose cores were crafted from dozens of Prima Deities and millions of Divine Transcendent Masters. These constructs radiated enough force to challenge Mid-Stage ArchDieties—colossal weapons of war born from the combined might of entire civilizations.

And then came the greatest among them.

The largest Runic War Formations towered like mountains over suns. At their centers rested an actual ArchDiety, their immense might woven through runes that amplified their power to the Late Archdiety Rank, just shy of the peak. These nine titans were known as Ars Goetia’s Thrones of Ruin, each one a masterpiece of apocalyptic craftsmanship.

There were thousands of Runic War Avatars in total, with even the smallest the size of a moon. This alone formed an army capable of burning entire Empyrean Worlds to ash. More importantly, they possessed the raw destructive force necessary not merely to survive the journey into the Heart of the Root, but to carve holes through the tumor-like world. Their power was staggering—yet it was only the beginning.

At the forefront of these runic titans stood the greatest generals of the six Empyrean Worlds that formed the Alliance. Each of these warriors had reached the Late Archdiety Rank through their own achievements. Fifteen in total—fifteen beings so overwhelmingly powerful that even their footsteps were spoken of as legend.

Among them were three figures from the Everstrife Empyrean World. They were the first to join the Scarlet Path during the time of the war against the Imperium of Time.

Leonidas, Amon, and Bael. The trio bore solemn expressions as they stood side by side. They were no strangers to immense burdens; they had carried the weight of continents before. Yet this moment was different.

They were part of the spearhead.

They were the vanguard chosen to confront the greatest powerhouses of The Root, beings that existed at the Alpha-Omega Overgod Tier. If they failed, the plan could collapse, and everything they had ever known or loved would be consumed by the Root’s devouring madness.

Even ancient beings like them could not help but feel their hearts tremble under that pressure. But after that moment of faltering, each lifted their gaze toward the front.

Ahead of the generals waited the true super-powerhouses—the ones capable of unleashing Alpha-Omega Overgod might themselves. Their presence bent the void, but the eyes of Leonidas, Amon, and Bael drifted past them all to rest on a single figure.

The Warmaster of the Nine Empyrean Suns Alliance.

The Scarlet King.

Cain.

His burden exceeded that of every warrior present. Even if the entire Alliance executed their roles flawlessly, any failure on his part would doom all existence. The trio could not imagine the weight such responsibility placed upon a man’s soul.

Yet when Cain turned, the only thing visible in his expression was a calm, terrifying certainty. His eyes glowed with pure scarlet radiance—light without fear, without doubt, without hesitation.

Every warrior paused.

Every gaze locked onto him.

When Cain finally spoke, his voice struck the void like a celestial thunderbolt.

"We stand upon the precipice of the end." His words echoed across the battlefield, carried effortlessly into the minds of every single man and woman.

"Before us rises an enemy born from the emptiness beyond our borders—an enemy with whom no treaty can be forged, no mercy can be shared. They seek not conquest, but consumption. Not dominion, but erasure. They would chain every mind and every soul to a hive of decay until no trace of us remains."

He paused, allowing the truth to settle like a blade across countless throats.

"But hear me now: we are not broken. We are not afraid. We are the shield against the emptiness—the fire that will not be extinguished. Today, we do not fight for territory or pride. We fight for the right to think, to feel, to breathe freely as ourselves."

The scarlet light blazing in Cain’s eyes intensified, pushing back the darkness itself. Its warmth surged through the Alliance, seeping into the hearts of even the most battle-hardened veterans. Fear ebbed. Hesitation dissolved. Doubt fled.

"Stand firm, warriors of the Nine Empyrean Suns Universe."

"Let the invaders learn that we do not surrender. We do not kneel."

"We fight."

Behind Cain, vast power erupted.

The Primarch of Conquest Leviathan manifested in full—a dracoserpent titan so enormous that its scales seemed capable of eclipsing worlds. The Scarlet King and the monstrous Primarch roared as one, shaking the void.

"When this day is written into the stars, it will not be remembered as the end, but as the moment we chose to rise." Another pulse emerged from the Scarlet King, brighter than a newborn sun. "Today, we sunder the darkness. Today, we stop the apocalypse!"

Cain and the Primarch fused their power seamlessly, triggering Resurreccion. A blazing scarlet burst erupted where the Scarlet King had stood only a heartbeat earlier.

Then he launched forward—like a spear of scarlet light, tearing through the void.

Behind him, the roar of war shook every corner of existence as the entire Alliance surged with him.
