Chapter 1857: With Pleasure
Chapter 1857: With Pleasure
Madness stared at Arad for a long while, then smiled.
“Estuary.”
This was the first time Arad had ever heard Madness talk, and what he said was something he didn’t even understand. He stood, stared back at able, and asked. “What’s an Estuary?”
“The point where a river meets the sea, a rich ecosystem for marine life.” Abel scratched the back of his head. “Can’t you get him to talk more?”
Arad shook his head as Madness only cackled with a sharp grin on his face. “He is out of his mind. He can follow orders, but I can’t give order to his sick mind.”
“He might be talking about the point where the Styx River connect to the real world. I’ve heard about it in legends, but I don’t know if its real or not. Most succubus I dealt with never mentioned it when talking about the breeding den.” Loviara threw several worried glances at Arad and his subjugated gods, then scratched the back of her head.
“But that was the mad god, if anyone is going to live there, it had to be him.” She then looked at Abel, “If he can tame this one, can’t he just as the God of Madness? I’ve heard that there is one.”
“That isn’t possible, that god is unreachable.” Arad quickly replied. The one Loviara mentioned had to be Cain Lisworth, the Overgod who just went insane. He had blasted a hole into the sea and almost killed his mother, his overpowered, ruthless mother. Arad isn’t stupid enough to seek such a danger just for answers.
“Then we got no choice but to wait for this one to speak again, or try to find the Styx’s estuary.” Loviara leaned back on the counter, then looked back at Abel. “If you were a river of death, where would you appear?”
“A big massacre, where hundreds of thousands died.” Abel replied, and Arad shook his head. “We aren’t going to do such a thing. I’ll ask Kali, she might know how to get there.” He stood, looked toward Abel, and sighed. “I have to go, once again, Loviara, thank for your help.”
She smiled. “No need to thank me, just put in a good word for me with Kali. And I’ll get this old friend of mine to pay.” She pointed at Abel. “I’ve heard he is opening a path for demons to get out of the abyss and have some fun.”
She wrapped her massive arm around Abel’s neck and pulled him closer. “I too want a spot.”
Abel smiled. “You’ll get the best spot, just make sure your demons aren’t that violent, or too weird.”
Hearing him, she giggled. “We gotta ease the mortals in slowly, set rules, and make sure our pot is filled with honey.” She threw a glance at Arad. “Even we demons understand that sometimes we have to hold back now to get more later.”
“Indeed.” He pulled a small crystal from his pocket and gave it to her. “Use this to call me. I’ll open a portal for you to come, and then we can talk.” He then stretched his arms and threw a glance at Arad. “I’ll go back first, will you keep searching?”
“Yeah, can you go back on your own? I’ll send you back.” Arad approached him, and Abel shook his head. “No need for that. I can teleport on my own. You know that my curse can make holes in anything, right?”
Abel pointed at the air, and a hole leading to his establishment beside Arad’s castle opened up. “The stronger I get, the more powerful my curse is becoming.”
“A curse that can create a portal between the Abyss and the Mortal world… if what Doma told me is correct for your curse as well, then the price for using it must be high.” As Arad asked, Abel smiled. “You’re right, curses are give and take.”
Abel’s curse allows him to create holes in anything, but in exchange, he has a hole in his heart, and thus, cannot understand most emotions, especially love. The more power he uses, the bigger the hole in his heart grows, but it can heal slowly over time, so he’ll lack emotions for only a few days after teleporting from the Abyss to the Mortal world.
But his curse also had a special art that he had been using since the beginning, which even Arad almost forgotten about. It is the ability to turn men into women, which he used several times before to transform himself into a woman and disguise himself. It was similar to Arad’s constellation Virgo, but on a bigger scale.
From a devil’s perspective, this curse was common in the hells where it was used to turn men into women for punishment.
Loviara might be physically stronger and more magically blessed than Abel, but several times even, but in a fight, she wouldn’t have a chance against him. One tap, and Abel’s curse would blast a hole in her chest wide enough to fit a whole human through.
Abel stepped through his hole and appeared back in the hallway of his establishment. The first thing he heard was the moaning and screaming of his customers as they were busy, and then came the call of his assistant who rushed in.
“Master! Master Abel! Where did you go?” She cried, barely being able to catch her breath as she had been looking for him ever since he disappeared.
“I’ve been sorting some deals to get us demons here. What did happen?” He could see that she was worried, but that worry didn’t seem to be directed at him.
“I’ve got a distress call from one of our girls. That call came just a few minutes ago, and it was from the north side of the city. Can you please go check on her?”
Abel sighed as he rubbed his eyes. “So, more fools. But I guess that too can be good. I’ll have some fun tonight.” His golden eyes flashed red as a pair of leathery red wings burst from his back, and he flew out of the window.
The assistant looked at the window for a while, worried. “Please be safe.”
But then, someone came from the inner hallways. “What is going on? I just sensed a sharp devilish power.”
As the assistant looked back, she saw about twenty naked people approaching her. Half of them were women, and the other half were men. Some were Abel’s workers, and the others were the customers who had just had fun earlier.
“One of our girls, Lararia. She sent a distress call and the Master went to check on her.” As she replied, the customers’ faces turned red, and the workers paled.
“Did someone attack her?” One of the customers growled in rage. “Where did the call come from? I’ll send my boys her way immediately.” He rushed to the changing room and quickly threw some of his clothes on, picked up his swords, and the rest of the customers did the same.
“We’ll cut their nuts off!” He immediately rushed out after learning where the distress came from, and everyone else followed after him. What he didn’t know was that by the time he would arrive with his men, it would all be over.
Far into the dark alleys outside the city walls, Abel walked through the darkness and approached a tall man who stood guard at the door of a massive barn. The man saw him and screamed. “You! Scrawny brat! Scram!”
“Did you happen to know where a young woman with black hair and green eyes is? She has a lot of freckles on her fair face.” As Abel asked, the man paled a bit but then laughed. “Fuck me if I know!”
With a smile, Abel pulled a scroll out of nowhere. “With pleasure.”
