The dragon's harem

Chapter 1761: Thank You For Everything

Chapter 1761: Thank You For Everything

The inside of the bath was far different from what Arad had expected. In fact, it was so strange that he had to pause for several seconds and just look around. He had just walked through a door, but instead of showing inside a building, he had found himself on the peak of a mountain surrounded by clouds and mist.

The peak was a flat piece of stone several hundred meters wide, holding several massive craters of water. Some of them were boiling hot, while others were warm, and some were even frozen, dotted with ice.

Between the craters of water, several ancient stone trees decorated the lands, on their branches strange crystalline flowers bloomed, sparking with overflowing mana. The sky above was pitch black and dotted with several bright stars that illuminated the place as if the full moon was out, and Arad could immediately tell that the sky was the inside of his stomach.

He could see several massage tables, saunas, open baths, maids learning how to swim or use water magic, some were even dancing with each other and singing.

As Merlin took a step in behind him, the entire bath flashed for a moment as bolts of magic flew from beneath her feet and fed the great mechanism of her labyrinth. “Welcome to my domain. An open concept labyrinth that I built inside your stomach. I wanted to do it in the mortal world, but Yog got angry and told me to build it here instead.” She walked past Arad and then looked at him with a mischievous smile, putting her hands together as if to apologize.

Arad could see what she was doing. She intentionally squeezed her chest together, arched her back, and stood on her toes with one foot ahead of the other. Who was teaching her this? Lala? He’ll have to find that succubus nun and give her an earful.

“If you aren’t feeling any stomach ache, drowsiness, or fever, then you should be fine.” As she waved her hand at him, she turned and catwalked her way toward the largest of the craters as several sets of jewelry decorated her body. She threw her hips from one side, and rocked her chest as hard as she could while walking like that, and she even made sure to stomp down with each step so the anklets she wore would ring.

“Trying to seduce me won’t help if you tore a hole in my stomach.” Arad sighed, but he didn’t waste the chance to look at her. She indeed had an amazing figure and knew how to use it well. He smiled, “Even if you seduced me, the others would give you a lot of fun.”

What he meant was clear to Merlin. Suppose she hurt him, even if by mistake. She could get away with it by being too pretty and seducing him, but that would only work on him. She can’t seduce the other wives, so before she could get away with it, they’ll tear her open.

Arad looked around once more, then expanded his senses beneath the mountain’s peak and into the endless mist. “I see, you created the entire mountain and encased it in a barrier box, leaving the top open, then masked everything with mist.” He walked behind her, and she threw a glance at him. “You can read it that quickly, I should’ve made it better.”

While she said that, she was actually looking to see if he was looking at her or not. Which he was doing. She was certain that she would’ve been screaming by now if the others weren’t around.

Arad leaned on her shoulder and looked at her with a smile. “Do you know what this place reminds me? When we got thrown into Limbo, we were in a simple sea. But then Yog showed up and created a fake version of the Arctic Lands.”

For a moment, Merlin almost got angry. Arad was looking at her face and not her chest. What was his deal now? Is thinking about magic more important than her?

Arad could hear her thoughts, so he quickly threw a glance at her chest, then back at her lips. She was smart enough to follow his eyes and seemed to relax for a moment.

She lifted an eyebrow. “What are you getting at? Eris told us that before.” Since Eris was in direct contact with Arad for a long while as they were in Limbo, all of his wives already knew about everything that happened there.

“The formation of this place is like when Yog created the fake Arctic Lands. Your work here might look sloppy compared to Yog, but you’re on the same path of magic she used.” He grabbed her by the butt and almost lifted her up, “One day, you might even match her skill.”

Arad was just trying to satisfy her better. He knew that talking about Yog irritated her, but he needed her to listen long enough to understand him.

Hearing him, Merlin didn’t even feel his hand on her butt. The moment she realized what he was talking about, all thoughts got washed away from her brain, and all her intellectual power went into understanding the extent of what he implied.

What did he just say? Was she on the same path of magic as Yog? Did she accidentally create something that matched the goddess? That is impossible; he must mean she just made something similar. No, Arad’s eyes are too sharp to make such a mistake, and Yog indeed didn’t let her build this mountain in the mortal world.

The amount of mana she used wasn’t too much, so Yog didn’t get in her way for that. The only other thing she could’ve been stopped for is… the barrier-less labyrinth. Was she accidentally trying to create a fake reality with magic and mix it into a real one? No, won’t that be Creation’s domain?

After thinking about it for a second, Merlin concluded that Creation must use her primal powers and matter to create things like worlds, while Yog can use mana to create them with magic. They were similar, but one was based on matter and energy, while the other was based on magic.

Is there a difference between Creation’s creation law and creation magic? Probably…

“Aren’t you thinking a bit too much about it?” Arad spoke, and she blinked twice, quickly getting pulled back to reality from her thoughts. She froze for a second, felt his hand on her butt, blushed, and then jumped forward. “Arad! I just was…”

What is she thinking about? She knew he was looking into her thoughts the whole time, so he should’ve been following her thoughts. That is what he just said after all… how could’ve she wasted it? He was touching her butt; she should’ve taken the chance, not jumped away.

She took a deep breath and then looked back. “I’ll think about it later. Look, everyone is here.” She pointed back. Arad could already see them, literally everyone. His wives, the maids, servants, and even the drakainas that the dragon queens gave him. Every single woman who was allowed into the private quarter was here in the bath.

From what Isdis told him, beside him, his children, and special cases. Only women are allowed into the private quarter, and all of those women allowed inside are there for him. His wives have picked them all, one by one.

The drakainas were two thousand in total, and everyone else reached the count of five hundred. In total, more than two thousand five hundred women were here. That was the count of the population of a small village, and what was even scarier was that Arad didn’t count the angels, fairies, vampires, or that one witch-woman he could sense over a billion lives from.

He walked with Merlin and slowly lowered himself into the crater of hot water where all of his wives rested, and then leaned on the edge. “A bit of warmth never hurts.”

He could hear Merlin’s thoughts and had sensed the extent of how hard she had worked so far, so he waved his hand at her to stop. “Hold up. Come here for a second.”

As she stood by his head, he grabbed her right foot with one hand and kissed it. “Thank you for all the hard work, for this place, and for everything else. If not for you, many would’ve died in Nyar’s attack.”

She froze in place for a second, and her entire body flushed red. After several seconds, she squatted beside his head and gave him a kiss that lasted for at least a minute before she stood again, sheepishly walking away. All of that had happened in front of everyone, and so she wanted to drown herself quickly.

Merlin sat a short distance away from him, then let herself float on the surface of the water. “This place is always ready. We can use it to relax, or to learn swimming, or even play with water magic.” She pointed at the distance where over fifty maids were standing in a line practicing water magic.

She quickly regretted that, because all of the maids were looking at her and whispering among themselves instead of training. Several of them even seemed to be teasing her, reenacting the scene when Arad kissed her foot.

The first of them to speak after Merlin was Kali, and she smiled, leaning on Diana’s chest. “ARAD! Before you relax, you got a woman to deal with.”

Arad leaned further back with his eyes closed, then opened them, only to find himself looking directly between someone’s legs. The woman standing above him was Fernanda. She glared down at him with a horny and hungry grin, her lips stretching from ear to ear, and as several clear drops of liquid dropped right on his forehead.

“So, you’re Arad, the man they all talked about.” She extended one hand above his face, and from her fingertip, a drop of blood was about to fall. “How about you become mine?”

At that moment, everyone in the bath could feel it. That woman was never on their side; everyone was already infected with her disease, and the only two that looked fine were Eris and Kali. Fernanda never intended to share Arad; her plan all along was to wait and see if he was worth her time. She would then kill everyone and keep him for herself.

Kali knew about it, but she never did anything. Eris stood to rush the witch, but Kali even went out of her way to stop her. Eris growled as she saw Kali grabbing her by the ankle. “Let me go.”

Kali smiled. “What are you worried about? Everything is under control.” She pulled Eris back into the water and then looked at Arad and Fernanda. “Witch! Good luck. You’ll need it.”

The blood drop fell from Fernanda’s finger and landed on Arad’s lips, starting the chaos.
