Chapter 1538 - 1538: The World Eater
Arad stared at the still red-hot world.
“How many are still alive?”
“Not much, but a lot.” Diana looked down, “Only a third is still alive, but that’s still around two billion devils.”
Mathilde leaned on her shoulder.
“Our beautiful harbinger here also wiped Qliphoth’s sapling. Time started flowing normally, and so you appeared. If she didn’t do that, we two would’ve needed to wait several years here for you to show up.” She pointed down with her foot at where the sapling was.
“How many abominations are still there?” He asked with a frown, and Diana shook her shoulders, “Many, this entire place wasn’t protected at all. No gods, not even a void drakaina to keep it safe in her stomach.” She pointed at the sky, “We have one dead sun, five…six planets, and many more meteors dancing around the void. It’s dead, he must’ve brought some devils with him here and settled down.”
“What about the devils?”
Mathilde shook her head, “All devils are linked to Lucifer and Asmodeus, whether they like it or not. Even if they were born here, they would’ve known and got orders to return to hell; they would’ve even got a portal to hell at will.”
She glared at the ground, “They are traitors… no, reckless fools who put the entire universe at risk by allowing the abominations a world to fester in. It’s thanks to stupid fools like them that many of our frontline bases got backstabbed.” She giggled, “Do you know the funny part? They are the ones who suffer the most.”
Diana flicked her fingers and the entire world shook, “The abominations slowly consume the minds of the infected, turning them into abominations through several generations. Those people are no longer real devils, just abominations ticking bombs.”
This world was massive, not as big as the mortal world, but it was big enough to offer a good base for Arad. He can use it to reinforce his small world with more mass than Gaia can make with magic.
Eris’s sun would be the center of his small world, with her heaven being the nearest planet, and many other planets hosting life spread around it.
But there was a problem: Arad’s elemental expansion wasn’t wide enough to fit the planet through.
Since Arad’s magic range is 4000 kilometers, that means his expansion is just 8000 kilometers wide, since it’s a massive sphere. That is also the biggest hole he can make to suck things into his stomach, making it impossible to absorb this planet into his stomach whole. He isn’t old enough for that.
But Arad wasn’t going to give up. He’ll cut this place to pieces and swallow it bit by bit. But first, he must make sure that Euri doesn’t escape.
“Did you lock this place?” Arad asked, and Diana nodded, “I broke this world’s magic link when we first came. Nothing can teleport in or out.”
Arad then transformed into his draconic form and looked down, “Let him cook. I’ll clear the other planets first.”
He flapped his wings and flew into space, leaving the two angels guarding the burning planet beneath them.
Diana and Mathilde looked at each other, then down at the red planet, “Well, Eris is going to be happy.” Mathilde smiled.
The two of them had heard of Eris becoming a true goddess; that was a happy occasion, for many reasons. Diana didn’t know that Arad was AO, so she was just happy for Eris.
But Mathilde knew, and she could feel the change starting. Eris is now the first goddess born into AO’s new world. Her domain would’ve spawned somewhere else if Arad weren’t alive; she basically is the first god that got created by AO in eons.
This only made Sylph’s decision seem better to her. With Eris being the first, Mira and Sylph are bound to follow soon, then many others after them.
The world inside Arad’s stomach would grow larger, house many gods, and soon become as strong, if not stronger, than the current divine pantheon.
If the war went south and the universe started getting consumed, AO would’ve already gotten a new body and built a new universe to survive and fight again.
“Should we keep attacking them?” Diana asked, and Mathilde shook her head, “No, just make sure they don’t get out. Keep them buried and slowly cooking until Arad comes back. It’ll take him a few days.”
As the two waited, Arad flew through the vacuum of space, navigating his way as Diana taught him. He kept to the darkness, hiding all of his life signals away. No magic, no light, and not a single part of him reflected any light.
As Arad flew like a shadow through darkness, his goal became quite clear: to slowly eat this whole world one dead planet after the other, using them as fuel for his energy breath and to build Eris’s heaven.
Euri shall wait; he shall sit there, slowly cooking alive beneath the surface of the charred world as Arad eats the entire place, slowly and surely, erasing this place from existence.
The devils in hell had called Arad the Emperor of Nothing, and he was now keen to give that title real meaning behind it. He wants everyone to know that crossing his wives would mean turning into nothing.
Euri, the one who dared ruin all of their effort in the Storm Titan’s kingdom and kill Tyal’s parents, was going to be Arad’s first victim. He’ll erase him and his world whole, wipe them back to nothing where they belong.
From this incident, Arad would gain another title, this time, spreading between angels instead of devils: The Black Dragon of the end, the World Eater.

“So, did you find him?” Yog smiled, and Arad shrugged, “He was there, and he is now slowly cooking beneath the planet’s boiling crust.”
She laughed, “I know what happened, I can see it.” She jumped on the table, walked toward Arad, then threw herself on Eris’s lap, “Euri didn’t give up, he is now preparing for one last stand. Don’t expect him to fall without a fight.” She then looked at Eris, “How about it? Want to try giving your husband a helping hand?”
Eris lifted an eyebrow, “A helping hand?”
Yog froze for a second, then sighed, “Ah… Kali got in the way, I see. Diana killed most of Euri’s population. With that amount of murder all happening at once, I thought you’d get a sudden power boost.”
She looked closer at Eris’s face, “Kali must’ve blocked that energy from reaching you. She is smart, you might’ve gotten hurt a bit.”
“Diana killed them…” Eris looked at the table, closed her eyes, and then frowned, “With that much power… no wait, those devils are waking up in hell.”
Yog smiled, “Diana is merciless, but she is fair. Instead of erasing them, she sent the souls of everyone she killed back to hell, since they were devils. This just gives them all a new chance.” She then pointed at Arad’s chest, “You…can also have an Archon. You just need the right person, and that power Diana harvested could be enough to give birth to a weak archon.”
Eris frowned, “I can use it to make an Archon, or… absorb it myself and grow stronger.” She looked inside her blood at all of the vampires there. If she were to give anyone the power to become an Archon, she would give it to Zia.
Arad looked at them and sighed, “For now, Eris needs to get used to her power. I think it’ll be for the best not to give her too much power on her first day as a goddess.” He patted Eris on the shoulder, “Take your time, you don’t need to hurry.”
Lola looked at them and smiled, “So we’re done here. I’ll be in contact with Isdis to finish anything that we left. Will you be heading to Mary now?”
“The Metallic Queen? Yes.”
