The Conquerors Path

Chapter 943 - 941-Going Around Meeting.

Chapter 943: Chapter 941-Going Around Meeting.

I thought with a smile as I headed to my next destination. For now, I had settled the issues with Olivia, given her some good times and set her on the future paths. Things look good there, but they will take a turn for the worse later, when I will have to reveal some more things to her. Until then, I can keep Olivia within her own happiness.

My eyes narrowed as I kept receiving the daily notes on the life being led by Tria Twilight. The only reason I can keep more focus here is due to the fact that she is now more focused on getting stronger. It seems she leans more towards regaining the sense of strength she had in whatever future she is from.

But that doesn’t mean she isn’t doing other things. She is gathering information and making her own moves, moves which seem simple but which I am sure have their own secret agendas hidden behind them.

I cursed internally as I reached my next destination, moving through the location in disguise, meeting in secret and all. Within minutes, I was soon seated in a more refined room, within the faction of Carmel Twilight, and it didn’t take long before Carmel also walked in, her eyes lighting up at seeing me.

"Hey B!~"

Carmel teased as she saw me, the revelation of the past still stuck with her. Though deeper than that, I could see she was tired. Just like Olivia, she had dark circles around her eyes, and I could feel she was exhausted both mentally and physically. Right now was the time we met again after the last time at the Twilight Palace.

I noted as Carmel walked in, her shoulders flinching a little, a light blush on her cheeks, her eyes blinking shyly when she looked at me. The rise in her heartbeat was very fast, and the whole atmosphere around her screamed of a shy young woman in love, walking into the room with the man she now deeply loves.

"Looks like sis is doing well."

I spoke with a smile, standing up and taking Carmel into a hug, which she easily accepted deeply, even sneakily taking a sniff from me. The fun fact being that even in between, she was sneakily switched with Carmelia, who also took a sniff, after which it turned back to Carmel. Though the most fun for me was when her face twisted a bit at the whole call.

I mused, this being my revenge for all the times I was friend-zoned by these two. With a light hug, I broke it, my eyes catching the heavy disappointment in Carmel’s face from losing it. It didn’t take long before we were seated and talking.

"It’s good to see Tria is doing well."

"Yes, it’s all thanks to you. She keeps saying she wants to repay the favour and perhaps even meet you to give more gifts."

Carmel replied, her face softening with an indulgent smile.

I thought, even though I didn’t meet much with Carmel, we still contacted and talked with each other, giving some daily bits here and there.

"You look tired."

I said, my words making Carmel flinch as she twirled with her hair a bit. It seemed my comment had a bigger effect, as I could see Carmel trying to check if she looked bad. She quickly broke out of her thoughts and, looking at me, she spoke.

"Yeah, it’s bad. There are issues everywhere, and putting them out isn’t easy at all."

I nodded my head at her words.

"Yeah, I know. There are issues everywhere, and the situation doesn’t look good. It’s the main reason I came here."

And just as I said this, the atmosphere around me grew serious. Seeing that, Carmel directly understood that now she wasn’t talking to her friend but to the leader of a faction. So she, too, took up that serious approach as I began to speak, soon filling her in on my plans and ideas. She nodded her head as she kept listening, her mind focused.

Thus, for the next five minutes, I spoke, saying everything that we should do, the plan in motion, and the powers we could use to flip the whole script. A few minutes later, Carmel was in deep thought, after which she looked at me and replied.

"The plan is solid if everything falls correctly into place. But if we do this, there will be large repercussions all around. We will be shifting the balance as a whole."

"I know, but this will be our best shot to push them back. And I can’t do this alone. We all need to act together."

Hearing my words, after some thought, Carmel replied.

"Give me a day, let me talk it out."

I nodded my head at her words.

"Sure, it’s natural to do so."

After which the atmosphere returned light, a smile coming back to my face, to which Carmel matched the same. The two of us were getting into some lighter talks, with Carmel definitely being more awkward and weird than before. The lovable girl was clearly shy and didn’t know much of what to do. A few minutes later, I spoke.

"I have to go, there are still more for me to meet."

My words made Carmel feel sad, as she asked with sad eyes.

"Really? Can’t you stay some more ti-time?"

To which I shook my head.

"No, I know you are busy and so am I."

Carmel nodded at my words, though before I could say anything else, Carmelia took control, the atmosphere shifting as she looked at me and spoke.

"Then later, I would like to have some of your time. I miss your cooking, let’s have a picnic."

Her words made me smile as I nodded my head and replied.

"Definitely, once we have more breathing space, let’s do that."

With that, I stood up, giving one last hug to Carmel before leaving, my steps light and my path undetected as I moved through the place. There was a shift around me as I soon arrived in another sector, the unique smell of the sea filling my nose as I kept walking, soon entering a normal shop before ending up inside a private room.

Entering the room, my eyes landed on the two beautiful women already waiting for me. Marlene and Catherina looked wonderful and regal as they saw me enter. Their eyes lit up instantly. It’s been some time since we all gathered more, not to mention I still owe them my time, helping Catherine with her problems and all.

"You look good."

Catherina said with a smile as she came to me and gave me a light hug. The same situation as Carmel took over here. Breaking the hug, Catherina, with a smile on her face, spoke.

"Did you get more handsome?"

Her words made me smile as I shook my head and replied.

"I can say the same about you, you look more beautiful than before."

My words directly caused that shy blush on Catherina as she easily melted at them. Leaving the hug, the domineering and powerful Marlene came to me, giving Catherina the stink eye as she too moved for a hug. My face showed surprise at it, but I returned the light hug. The same pattern of a sniff repeated, and as she let go, she looked at me, clearly anticipating something.

"You look beautiful."

My words made Marlene break into a wide smile for a moment, the blush on her cheeks strong as now Catherina gave Marlene the stink eye. The atmosphere was just as it had been the last time we gathered together. Sure, they had formed the alliance, but it wasn’t easy for either of them to let the other get any kind of advantage. So I wisely spoke.

"Let’s talk?"

To my words, soon we were seated. Or, I looked at the seating. Normally, places like this would have more seats, the arrangement spread around giving a spacious look. Especially here, there should have been seating across from each other. But right now, looking in front of me, I feel the difference clearly.

Because right now, in this big space, there was only a single seating area!

A suspiciously good-looking couch that perfectly fit three people. I would be blind and truly dumb if I didn’t see the situation. Looking at the two girls gazing at me like predators, I spoke.

"Umm..."

Sadly, somehow that was all that came out of my mouth as Catherina, with sparkling eyes, spoke.

"Let’s sit and talk!"

[Guess the karma has come home to roast! Let’s see you act more dumb in this situation!]
