The Bigshot Married Himself to the Heiress

Chapter 1126 - 1066: Pregnant

A month later,

The Phillips family came to visit, bringing a pile of gifts to express their gratitude to Sienna Johnson for rescuing Noah Phillips. Sienna Johnson personally received them.

"Sienna, our family owes you a huge debt of gratitude. If not for you, our dear Noah would have lost his life," the Old Master Phillips sincerely thanked Sienna Johnson.

Sienna Johnson smiled slightly, glancing over Noah’s face, finding him well and feeling relieved.

"You are too kind, this is what I should do. When we were young, Noah always took care of me," Sienna Johnson replied politely.

Mother Phillips, observing the woman whose expression was neither enthusiastic nor cold, knew how formidable she was.

This was their second meeting, their first meeting was when she demanded that family heirloom blue diamond back from her. Now, that diamond was still hidden away in her safe, never seeing the light of day. Noah knew nothing about this.

Mother Phillips felt uneasy as she looked at Sienna Johnson.

"Mrs. Desmond, you saved our dear Noah, and we certainly must thank you properly. Noah is our only child; if anything were to happen to him, I couldn’t live on," Mother Phillips said, tears falling as she spoke.

Father Phillips, comforting her at the side, said, "Don’t be so sad, Noah is fine now."

With lingering fear, Mother Phillips said, "It was so close to..."

"Alright, alright..."

Mrs. Desmond? Sienna Johnson found it amusing. She had been married to Adrian Desmond for a long time, and they were about to have three children. How could she possibly fear she would take Noah away?

She and Noah could never be in this life, because she had fallen in love with Adrian.

"How on earth did the Night Owl target our dear Noah? We have no grievances with him."

Sienna Johnson’s hand holding the glass paused, raising her eyes to see Noah, who hadn’t said much the whole time, was frowning as if he had a lot he wanted to say to her.

The matter with Noah, it all started because of her and Adrian.

If it weren’t for them provoking the Night Owl, Noah wouldn’t have suffered this calamity, so their organized gratitude came with a heap of gifts, leaving Sienna feeling guilty.

"Mama, mama..."

Curly came in carrying Sheehan, whose legs were now strong enough to take a couple of steps with someone holding him, though unsteady, and Sheehan particularly loved to walk.

Curly held Sheehan from behind, and Sheehan’s little legs kicked around on the floor.

Sienna Johnson watched, heart in her throat, "Why did you bring your brother out, what if he fell?"

"..."

"Why is he without his pants?"

"He peed, and his pants got wet."

Sienna Johnson took her son, gently said, "You can’t just let him come out without pants."

"Little kids, being pants-less is no big deal. I was pants-less when I was little too. No problem, just be clothed when grown-up," Curly nonchalantly said.

"And you little girl, calling your brother a little kid," the Old Master Phillips kindly laughed.

Seeing a group of strangers, Curly politely called out, "Hello Great Grandpa, hello Grandpa, hello Grandma, hello Uncle Phillips."

"Good girl." The Old Master Phillips looked at Curly and Sheehan longingly, sighing as he gazed at his grandson, "Who knows when Noah will give me a great-grandchild."

This was a worry for the Phillips family. Noah smiled but didn’t respond, and neither could Sienna Johnson.

The Old Master Phillips didn’t know about the failed romance between Sienna and Noah, praising, "Sienna has a good face, a face of prosperity for the husband and family. Whoever marries you is truly fortunate."

Sienna Johnson, embarrassed by the praise, humbly said, "My fate isn’t that good."

"Your appearance suggests a rough youth, but after adulthood, fate changes to one of great fortune and wealth, benefiting well into the future.

As people say, enduring hardship when young isn’t hard. It’s the hardship in old age that’s truly tough. So, you are fortunate." The Old Master Phillips, having some expertise in physiognomy, liked to provide readings when meeting people he found pleasing.

Father Phillips said, "My dad’s readings are very accurate."

"Just know a little about it," the Old Master Phillip humbly said.

"Thank you for your kind words," Sienna Johnson said.

Melly had just been on the phone with Reggie Dewey, but suddenly the children were missing, scaring her into a cold sweat, thinking the Night Owl had taken them away.

Finding the two children, Melly breathed a sigh of relief, "Sorry Madam, I was on the phone and didn’t expect Curly to take Sheehan away."

"It’s alright, take them downstairs."

Sheehan clamored to have his sister carry him, wanting to walk.

Sienna Johnson thought young children had soft bones, starting to walk too early could lead to bow legs, so she wouldn’t let Sheehan walk too soon.

"Carry him out," Sienna Johnson said to Melly.

Sheehan stubbornly refused, young children handling issues in a simple, crude way: if you don’t meet their demands, they cry.

Sheehan had a loud voice; when crying, it gave Sienna Johnson a headache.

The Phillips family was still there, Sienna Johnson embarrassingly apologized to them, unaware the family loved hearing children cry.

Mother Phillips looked at Sheehan with deep longing; had she not stopped Sienna and Noah back then, they might have had a child by now.

Sigh...

Adrian Desmond, knowing Noah had come, rushed over to the Phillips’ house, as Noah was deemed more dangerous than the Night Owl impersonation.

"Hello," Adrian Desmond greeted the Phillips family.

"Good afternoon, Mr. Desmond."

Adrian Desmond glanced over the Phillips family, lingering on Noah’s face, where his gaze often inadvertently drifted onto Sienna, making Adrian uncomfortable.

Sheehan clung to his mother, wide-eyed, brow furrowed as he looked at the Phillips family.

"Mrs. Phillips, did you receive the blue diamond necklace?" Adrian brought up old matters, showing no regard for sparing the woman’s feelings.

Noah, having heard of the past event from the Night Owl, naturally detected the mockery in Adrian’s words.

Noah spoke, "Sorry, I was the one who asked my mother to take it back."

Adrian showed no mercy, sneering, "Things given away can still be taken back..."

The Old Master Phillips asked, "What is this about?"

Sienna Johnson felt a wave of nausea; Melly quickly brought a spittoon for her to vomit. With Melly shielding her, she didn’t come across as rude.

"Madam, are you alright?"

Sienna Johnson was just experiencing morning sickness, rinsed her mouth, and shook her head.

The Old Master Phillips, observing Sienna’s complexion, enviously said, "Sienna, are you...?"

It’s customary not to speak about a child before the three-month mark to avoid disturbing it. Sienna smiled slightly, placing a hand on her abdomen, and though she said nothing, everyone understood.

The child was conceived that night in the hotel when Sienna intensely tangled with Adrian...

Though the timing was somewhat sensitive, Sienna anticipated this child with great hope.
