Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP

Chapter 287: The Calm Before...

Chapter 287: The Calm Before…

“Grandmother, you truly have no shame.” Elara said as her long silver and purple hair entangled with Ash’s long white hair.

Lady Truth simply shrugged with no care in the world.

“Who cares… I’m just living in my truth~” At those words she nudged Ash who only chuckled.

He then snapped his fingers as the projection changed from the multiversal war.

On that end he truly had nothing to worry about.

Even if invaders from another lower dimension showed up, the Originat would be just fine. I mean, currently… their mere existence was a deterrent stronger than any army.

“Archie?”

“Grandfather?”

Both Lady Truth and Elara rose a brow as Archie appeared on the screen — suspended high above the icy lands of Antarctica, as the wind howled around him in spiraling white streams.

Ash smiled faintly, the corner of his mouth lifting. Everything was moving smoothly.

“Indeed, this guy here has been living quite the lives.” His voice carried a quiet amusement as he explained his connection to Archie.

The revelation — that they were technically brothers — struck the room like a soft shockwave.

Lady Truth blinked once, absorbing it. “To think I never knew him at all.” Her tone wasn’t sad, nor wistful.

It was simply factual — a detached observation.

Whatever Archie had been to her was now nothing but another ’life’ and it held no weight now.

Her focus, her loyalty, her heart… all of it was with Ash.

Still, curiosity flickered behind her eyes. What else did Ash have planned?

Elara stepped forward, arms folding beneath her chest. “You’ve been watching this world for some time now… care to explain what’s going on?”

Ash’s gaze drifted back to the projection, to the swirling storm clouds and the faint dimensional shimmer around Archie’s form.

“Hmm, well this world is the gate to an higher dimension.”

The words hit like a thunderclap.

Aurora — who had been practically glued to the projection — snapped her head around, golden eyes widening a bit. The air around her seemed to brighten with her sudden attention.

Ash continued, his tone steady as he laid out the truth.

He told them what a Lower Dimension truly was…. that more than one existed. How this world, Earth, was only one piece of a much larger, layered reality.

Aurora’s voice came out soft but brimming with excitement. “Daddy… are we going to explore other Lower Dimensions as well?”

“Well, I wouldn’t call it exploring.” Ash rose to his feet, the subtle shift of his posture enough to draw every eye in the room. He looked to Lady Truth and Elara, then continued.

“I have a few more stops to make. You both now hold tattoos; with those you can enter the Haven.”

He reached out and gently grabbed Aurora’s hand.

“You can keep watching the projection… it should be some fun in a few weeks.”

After those words he disappeared, with the space around them folding inward like a curtain being pulled shut.

The Father and Daughter multiversal exploration continued over the course of a week.

Each stop was a world, a Galaxy, just a place hanging in the void with its own culture.

Aurora clung to him with bright, eager steps, absorbing everything with the hunger of someone who had been born into power but had never seen its full scope.

Though it wasn’t as magnificent as their own, it was still a lot to learn.

Ash… well their travels were ironically in the universe of a certain few. He was mostly stopping by to bond with all the women who had been waiting

This went for Aurelia, Seraphiel, Madison, Rune and even Aeloris.

[A/N: I know I didn’t exactly show Rune Tyrana’s decision… but she obviously chose the right thing! I will show it eventually during her backstory though.]

Although his connection to Aeloris, Rune and Madison were not as deep as the other women, he desired them… and their affection was already 99%.

It wouldn’t be but a thing for them to build a stronger bond together.

He also went along and gave them access into the Originat Haven, where Elysia and Creara would help them evolve into Primavus.

And currently, the two had arrived at a place Ash himself had never been to personally.

It was the Myriad Sect of Races.

“This place does not look as fancy as the others.” Aurora said and she wasn’t wrong. The sect wasn’t even Eternal even after so many years.

So, it was only fair that it looked less powerful and appealing.

“You’re right, this Sect however was the first place your mothers and uncles started at after leaving Elaris.” Ash said as the descended from the skies.

Ash walked barefoot beside Aurora—baggy sweats and black shirt as always—he masked their presence as not to attract too much attention.

Aurora’s bare feet padded softly on the stone, long white-blue hair swaying, bright with curiosity as she took in the sights.

They passed a training courtyard first—beast-kin warriors sparring with clawed gauntlets while an elven archer shot arrows that split mid-flight into dozens, each finding a target with perfect precision.

Aurora paused—tilting her head… then a mischevious grin took old of her face.

hum..

She hummed a single soft note.

The arrows froze in midair, quivering, before gently drifting back to the archer’s quiver as though time had reversed itself.

The elf froze in shock, but that split moment was enough for the beast-kin to land an attack.

BOOM!

Ash rose a brow at that and looked at Aurora who now wore a smile as if she’d done a good deed.

“Now, why would you do that?” Ash asked simply, not to reprimand her but through genuine curiousity.

Aurora rose a brow, “That elven man had some evil aura to him… so why not?” She said as if it was clear as day.

’Eh? Did she get that shit from her mother?’ He thought, as he knew she obviously wouldn’t pick up such a trait from him.

As they continued to walk, he spoke again.

“Rora, that’s not a good habit to have.” She looked at him in confusion, but he continued before she could speak.

“Power, it’s something that’s more mysterious than any of us know.”

“Daddy, you’ve said that millions of times before.” She said sarcastically.

Ash smiled but didn’t stop his explanation.

“Just because you have the power to fix something… it doesn’t mean you should run and go do it.”

He continued to explain, that one should at least know the full story before moving carelessly. He for one, at a single glance could know pretty much all he needed, so he was able to act more freely.

However, Aurora didn’t have special eyes, so it was important to let her know now…..

Not to develop the age-old Hero syndrome.

Their exploration of the sect continued as the ate foods, checked different stores and whatnot.

Like mentioned before such a Faction was not as impressive as the previous stops so they didn’t hang around for too long.

Finally, Ash led her to the sect’s central pavilion—a modest structure of white jade and dark wood, open on all sides, overlooking a serene lake of liquid moonlight.

Inside two women he hadn’t seen in years could be seen working now as Elders.

Fay, she stood tall and graceful, long green hair cascading down her back, pointed ears, leaves swirling in her eyes sharp yet warm.

She wore flowing robes of living green silk that shifted like wind through leaves.

Beside her stood Sia, petite but commanding, long blue hair tied in a ponytail, white cloud eyes steady and knowing.

Her simple white dress bore faint golden runes that glowed softly when she moved.

By now both of them stood as Peak Stellar Sovereigns, it was something Ash found pretty surprising. However, he did give them two elixirs long ago that played a major part in that.

Ash stopped at the threshold—hand still holding Aurora’s.

“Fay…. and Sia, long time no see.”
