Chapter 225: I’ve Wronged You Both – Grand Cosmic Convergence

Before leaving his inner cosmos Ash paid Raven a visit and also Katherine and Summer.

These two had recovered long ago, yet they all had been caught up.

The girls caught up on life, convinced their childhood had slipped away forever—laughter ringing through endless rose-pink meadows where time moved softly, and memories of simpler days came alive again in stories shared beneath the eternal twilight skies.

And Ash, well he was watching his race of course.

He spent a few months with Raven, sharing nights of passion among floating islands of liquid starlight, her ethereal beauty pressed against him in a weightless embrace, their laughter mingling with moans that echoed through the silent void.

Later, he wandered into the personal domain of the two women—a sprawling expanse on the Originat Haven, so named because it could shift and reshape itself to suit their every whim.

Katherine and Summer’s domain was an eternal twilight realm carved from the supercontinent, a gothic landscape of crimson mist curling around black marble spires that jutted like fangs from lakes the color of blood.

Ash appeared in the center of their castle’s grand hall, its towering ceilings ribbed with black stone vaults, while chandeliers of crystallized blood droplets cast a soft, ruby glow over velvet thrones that seemed to soak up the darkness.

Katherine and Summer stood waiting, their beauty touched by the pale elegance of vampires and the faint shadows left by past trials, dark and blonde hair flowing like midnight silk as their crimson gowns whispered across the cold stone with each graceful step.

Years had passed since Vesper’s torment—years filled with imprisonment, cruelty, and violations that had pushed their loyalty to its limits.

Still, they endured, holding tightly to the memory of Ash through even the darkest nights.

When he finally appeared, it was as if time itself froze, the ruby light trembling in suspended breath.

Katherine’s breath hitched, her crimson eyes widening as tears—so rare for a vampire—sprang forth, gleaming like fresh-spilled blood.

Summer froze beside her, hand flying to her mouth, body trembling with a mix of relief and long-buried pain, gown rustling softly in the sudden hush.

“Ash…” Katherine murmured, her voice breaking as she stepped forward, the weight of years pressing down like quiet thunder.

Summer came after, tears streaming without restraint, her usual calm in pieces. “You… you actually came for us.”

Ash closed the distance slowly, his eyes soft with emotions beyond words—guilt, gratitude, an unshakable bond—the air subtly warming around him, threads of rose-pink weaving through the crimson haze.

When he reached them, he pulled them into a gentle embrace, his arms wrapping around their trembling forms as they clung to him like lifelines, their muffled sobs mingling with the faint scent of blood and roses lingering between them.

He spoke then—not with some flimsy excuse, but with the weight of full responsibility in his voice.

“I’ve wronged you both,” he said softly, his tone steady as he held them close, warmth radiating from him like a promise.

“You went through hell for me, stayed loyal when anyone else would’ve walked away. I owe you more than my life. So go on… let it out, cry away every harsh moment you’ll never have to face again.”

They eased back a little, tear-streaked faces searching his, hope glimmering through the shadows of old pain.

Ash met their gaze without a trace of flirtation or pretense—just simple, genuine honesty.

“Be with me. Not to repay anything, but because you deserve it all. Let me give you new lives—free from the past, stronger than ever.”

Katherine and Summer exchanged a glance—tears turning into bright smiles—and nodded without hesitation.

“Yes,” Katherine murmured.

“Of Course!” Summer said, her voice steady with devotion.

Ash’s warm, knowing smile deepened as he placed a hand on each of their foreheads.

A soft multicolored light flowed from him, wrapping them in gentle warmth that pushed away the last of the shadows—like dawn breaking after an endless night.

Unlike the others, he didn’t rush them into the state of conceptual existence.

Not yet at least.

He would let them adjust to being a Primavus and discover their own path before guiding them further.

Their transformation was quick yet stunning—dark and blonde hair fading to pure white, streaked with faint crimson traces, skin turning to flawless alabaster that shimmered with hidden starlight, and six great wings spreading in white feathers tipped with soft rose-pink flames that cast gentle, warming glows across the hall.

Four graceful horns curved from their brows—pink and white spirals like crowns of quiet dignity.

As the light faded, Katherine and Summer stood as Prime Primavus—otherworldly, powerful, and more themselves than ever.

They hugged him again, laughter blending with joyful tears, no words needed, only the unspoken promise of fresh beginnings. Ash lingered a while longer, his inner cosmos offering him nothing but time.

So, he spent the next decade solely with Katherine and Summer as they lived lives like normal people… well as normal as this inner cosmos would allow one to live….

They passed lazy mornings in sunlit meadows that blossomed at their whim, evenings dancing beneath stars that shifted to mirror childhood memories, and quiet nights swapping stories by fires that warmed without burning.

Their bonds grew in the simple joys long forgotten—picnics on floating islands, stargazing from crystal shores where waves sang gently, and laughter drifting through reshaped landscapes that mirrored their mending hearts.

After bidding farewell to everyone, Ash found himself back in the void between worlds, deep within the Venia Galaxy.

With all the evolutions his companions had gone through—first Elysia, then the other Primavus—he had grown much stronger himself.

Still, he couldn’t deny that his newfound powers were a bit overwhelming, enough that he decided to just let things be for now.

Before long, he would retreat into seclusion anyway.

“Alright, let’s see what f—” His words were suddenly cut short as multicolored flames erupted before him, swirling and shaping into the familiar form of Aurelia.

Her mismatched eyes sparkled with mischief as she gazed at Ash, the flames converging into a burst of prismatic fire that illuminated the void like a newborn star.

“So… you’re still kicking after all,” she said with a smirk, masking her surprise.

She was honestly stunned by how much Ash had changed—and more than that, she couldn’t sense his power at all. The emptiness around him felt deeper, as if reality itself faltered in his presence.

’What the hell has he become?’ she wondered, just as Ash’s voice broke the silence.

“Oh, you don’t have to worry about me not kicking,” he replied as they walked through the void—their strides effortlessly spanning vast distances, stars streaking past in blurs of light.

The last time they’d met, Ash hadn’t been in the greatest mood, just going along with things, but now, as he looked at her, he shook his head.

“What was I thinking?”

“What do you mean?” Aurelia asked, catching his words.

“Why did I ever let you slip through my fingers without making you mine?”

By the time he said this, he was no longer walking beside her but leaning in to whisper in her ear, the warmth of his breath sparking vivid flames across her skin.

Her face flushed, and she instinctively stepped back.

Aurelia took in his words and scoffed—not at him, but at the idea of being ’had.’

“It’s too bad… you’re quite the looker,” she said with a shrug. “Too bad I’m already engaged…”

Ash rolled his eyes at that, and as they walked, it seemed like they were moving slowly, yet each step spanned incredible distances.

“Oh, let me guess… you want me to beat the guy up to win your love?” Ash said sarcastically, making Aurelia laugh.

“Haha, no. What would I need you for? I can take down the stupid dragon myself,” she said with a pout.

“It’s just more complicated… anyway, I heard from a little birdie that you’ll be attending the Grand Cosmic Convergence,” Aurelia went on.

“…Riiight,” Ash replied, a bit puzzled as to how she knew that.

She pressed a finger to her lips, as if reading his thoughts, and whispered playfully,

“Fate!”

Their banter and flirting carried on for quite some time until they arrived at the Vossmere Consortium—a breathtaking star system of thousands of interconnected worlds orbiting a central prismatic sun that shifted colors like a living aurora…
