Chapter 190: Vs Mirror Fox, Kagami Shin
Chapter 190: Vs Mirror Fox, Kagami Shin
One simple roar brought devastation to the realm of Mirror Foxes.
Ash broke through the floor and immediately began his carnage.
The ground shattered under the force of his emergence, shards of crystal and stone flying in all directions as the air filled with the screams of the dying and the crackle of collapsing structures, the entire floor trembling like a living thing in its death throes.
Bodies of Mirror Foxes lay scattered in twisted poses, their silver-white fur matted with blood and their mirrored eyes shattered like broken glass, reflecting fragments of their own horror as Ash’s presence alone seemed to drain the life from them.
The realm, once a labyrinth of illusions and reflections…. now looked like a slaughterhouse, with pools of crimson spreading across the cracked floors.
The millions of Cosmic Overlord foxes swarmed like a silver storm.
Tails whipping through the air as they channeled infinite reflections to multiply their numbers, each one a perfect copy charging with claws extended and eyes gleaming with desperate fury to protect their ancestral halls.
BOOOM!!!!!
Their attacks landed with cataclysmic force, illusions shattering against Ash’s skin as he swung his tail in wide arcs, sending waves of Ending essence that cut through the horde like a scythe through wheat, foxes exploding into mist and shards as their bodies unraveled from the inside.
They laid their lives down without hesitation, one wave after another crashing against him, a Elder Fox screaming “For the mirrors!” as she detonated her own core in a final explosion of light, taking dozens of her kin with her in a vain attempt to wound the invader, their blood painting the realm in streaks of silver-red while the survivors howled in grief and rage.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!
—–
In the skies Kagami descended… the strongest ancestor of the Foxes.
He coldly watched as his loved one perished while giving their all. His tails began to move erratically as his vision shifted as he began to use his aspect.
The air grew thick with the weight of his descent…..
He hovered above the carnage, his mirrored eyes cold and unyielding as he witnessed his kin’s final stands, their bodies bursting into wisps of illusionary smoke that faded into nothingness, each death a silent testament to their loyalty.
HUMMMM!!!!
As his tails moved with increasing frenzy, reality itself beginning to bend and multiply, the reflections in his tails showing not just the present slaughter but possible futures where the realm fell…. in each and every one of them.
Kagami’s body began to elongate and twist, his aristocratic human form shedding like a shattered mirror, revealing the sleek, silver-white fur beneath as his limbs lengthened into powerful paws with claws that gleamed like polished steel, the air around him rippling with illusory echoes of his transformation.
His face sharpened into a vulpine muzzle, fangs extending with a low growl that vibrated through the realm, his ears pricking up as his nine tails unfurled fully behind him, each one a living mirror that reflected distorted timelines and multiplied his presence across the battlefield.
The change complete, he stood as a colossal full Mirror Fox, his size rivaling a small world, his fur shimmering with infinite reflections that made him seem both here and everywhere, his roar silent yet deafening as it echoed in the minds of all who witnessed it.
The moment he shifted, his aura spiked even more.
HUMMMMM!!!!
And Ash whom had been slaughtering anything with a life signature darted his eyes over to Kagami…. the most massive one yet.
Then moved without any wasted movements.
Kagami moved as well and as he did he activated a talent along with a concept.
|Infinite Self-Substitution (Divine)|
|Concept of Reflections|
The concept of reflections was simple… yet so deadly.
With it being at max comprehension he had no limit of it’s power…. A power that allowed everything to be mirrored, duplicated, inverted, or replaced.
His form instantly multiplied into millions.
All colliding at once in a cataclysmic impact that caused space to explode.
BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!
The impact caused other Mirror Foxes to perish in the wake of its destruction.
Land was ripped apart, structures were gone… the realm of foxes looked like a graveyard. Elysia currently was worried and had long lost her curiosity.
This had been going on for twelve hours—endless carnage and destruction.
Through it all, Ash relied solely on the Concept, Aura, and Intent of Endings, without using any other talents.
Now, he was under siege by millions of foxes.
Though he cut them down as they came, the sheer numbers made taking damage inevitable, and he was being pushed into a corner. For every reflection he destroyed, more emerged. Kagami knew the fate of this realm was grim.
He was giving everything he had, even if it meant everyone else would be wiped out in the process—because that’s exactly what was happening.
While they were all Cosmic Overlords, not all could be held to the same standards.
The level of Precepts and Concept Comprehension played major roles in this… and even other tricks those may have.
And currently with the Concept of Endings being thrown out manically and the quakes from the impacts…
Very few remained….
Yet, through all of this, Ash himself he witnessed it all.
Once again, he wasn’t moving mindlessly; he was fully aware of everything around him.
Yet his body moved purely on instinct and nature.
He found himself in a strange place—so deep within his inner cosmos that even he had never ventured there before. This realm pulsed with the essence of Desire, Primavus, Unnamed Essence, and countless other forces that made up Ash.
But something was off.
The place lacked its usual harmony; normally, it would rest in a quiet, still state.
Now, however, it was in complete disarray, thrown into chaos by the arrival of two new essences: Ending and Eternity.
The moment Ending emerged, its nature began to overpower the others, radiating pure malevolence and an unrelenting hunger for conclusion.
It began to clash with the different natures of Ash.
Ash drifted in the middle of this strange realm, watching the outside like it was a TV show.
While here, he was locked in an internal battle.
The moment he started to unleash chaos, he was pulled into this place—into the very core of his Cosmos, or more precisely, the core of his Soul.
