Chapter 912 - 912: Beyond The Boundaries Of Safety [Part 2]
“Welcome back, Your Highness.” A beautiful lady bowed as soon as she saw her liege. “Did you enjoy your stroll in this new world?”
“All I saw were abandoned cities,” the young man replied. “But during our trip back, Ossan found a few Wanderers and opted to have a small snack before returning. You should really teach him not to play with his food. Some Wanderers got away.”
The lady smiled sweetly and promised to give the Pseudo Rank 8 Sovereign a good nagging later.
(A/N: When I say Pseudo Rank 8, this means that the Monster is at the peak of Rank 7 but has the fighting prowess of a Rank 8 Monster.)
Suddenly, a Rat-like monster appeared beside the young man.
“Your Highness, how many times must I tell you to not sneak away without telling me?” the Rat-like monster complained. “Your father entrusted your safety to me, so please don’t wander off on your own.”
“Oh hush, Nask.” The young man clicked his tongue. “We just arrived here yesterday, and you’re already giving me one of your sermons. Cut it out, will you?”
The Rat that was at least two-meters tall sighed before shaking its head helplessly.
“Prince, don’t forget the special mission your father has given you,” Nask stated. “The other Royals from the Jinn Clans have also managed to break past the barrier and are somewhere in this continent.
“They are our competitors, as well as enemies. If you were to fall into their hands, your father would kill me.”
“How can he kill you? He can’t even cross over because he’s too strong for this world,” the young man replied. “Don’t worry. My father gave me some artifacts to protect myself. You should worry about yourself more.”
The young man then sat on the comfortable chair before glancing at the deserted city from the balcony.
He decided to make the house of the former mayor his temporary home since it allowed him to overlook the entire city.
“Report the status of our soldiers,” the young man ordered.
Nask grumbled but still gave his report. “Our soldiers have chosen dwellings near our location and are currently trying to understand how to make their technology work.”
“Oh?” The young man smirked. “Actually, Ossan decided to spare a few Wanderers and brought them here with us. Since they’re under his control, you can ask them how to operate the technology this world possess.”
The young man then lightly tapped the communicator he had taken from one of the Wanderers they had captured earlier.
Ossan could absorb the memories and knowledge of the creatures it ate. Thanks to this ability, it now understood some details about the world they were in.
It was also for this reason why the Majin King had chosen it to accompany his son to enter the world of Pangea, using the opportunity while the barrier was at its weakest.
The young man was none other than Prince of the Skavari Empire, Zorren Vorn Vel’Skaarn, sent as an advance party to conquer the world of Pangea.
He was the youngest prince of their Empire, only twenty years of age.
However, his age mustn’t be used as basis for his competence. He was considered a genius, possessing the strength of the Champion Rank this early.
Not to mention, he could become even stronger if he assumed his true form, which was a Skavari.
A Rat-like Demon who ruled one of the regions of Gomorra.
But Prince Zorren didn’t really like to stay in his monster form, preferring his human form better.
“Ah, there we go.” Prince Zorren smiled after a projection appeared from his communicator.
Nask and the handmaiden serving the prince, who goes by the name Sazrin, looked at the projection with genuine curiosity.
They didn’t have this kind of technology in Gomorra, so they were very curious about how they were able to see people inside the projection.
“As you can see, the members of the Hero Party are clearing the dens near the City of Liveria,” the reporter said. “So far, they are able to dominate the battlefield with ease.”
The camera then focused on the Heroes fighting at the front lines.
The prince arched an eyebrow when he saw Roland and Derek fighting side by side.
“They seem to be the same age as me,” Prince Zorren commented. “But they’re just fighting small fries. It seems the people of this world are impressed by this low-level warfare they are waging.”
“Indeed, Your Highness.” Nask nodded. “That lady reporting this battle had simply never seen us—our great empire wouldn’t even consider this level a true battle.”
At that moment, the three Majins noticed that fireballs were raining down on the sky.
As if waiting for that moment, the camera moved to focus its attention at Erica, who was hurling fireballs above the battlefield.
Her long dark-blue hair fluttered in the breeze, and the devilish smile plastered on her face captivated those who were watching her.
“I have decided,” Prince Zorren said. “That lady shall be my consort. Nask, try to find out where this City of Liveria is located.”
“Your Highness, please don’t be reckless and try to abduct that girl,” Nask replied. “We have just arrived, yet to understand the strength of our enemies. However, I will do as you say and investigate. Since this world will soon belong to you, you can take all the consorts that catch your fancy.”
Prince Zorren nodded in satisfaction, liking what he was hearing.
The camera also zoomed in on Mildred, Diana, and Shana during the battle.
While they were all beautiful young ladies, not losing out to the Sorceress, Erica’s confidence and devilish smile simply captivated Prince Zorren.
He liked bold, confident, and courageous ladies, so he preferred Erica more than the other young ladies.
Also, judging by the way the young sorceress fought, Prince Zorren could tell she was yet to fight seriously, which greatly piqued his interest.
“The members of this hero party are not bad,” Prince Zoren said. “I’ll make Erica my consort, and those three other girls can be my concubines. Nask, make sure to tell our people that they shouldn’t be harmed if we ever come across them on the battlefield.
“Also, once you interrogate those Wanderers, make sure to let our people find time to watch this thing that Ossan referred to as a TV. They should watch the news and learn more about this world.
“The more we know about our enemy, the easier it would be for us to subjugate them. We will make our move once our reinforcements arrive from Gomorra. Until then, I will leave the management of this city to you.”
“Yes, Your Highness,” Nask bowed respectfully.
The Prince once again shifted his attention to the battlefield.
The more he looked at Erica, the more he became smitten with her.
He could almost envision pinning her delicate and seductive body under him on his bed, going at it until she gave birth to six of his children.
‘I’m glad my father had chosen me to come here,’ Prince Zorren thought. ‘It would be a shame if some other filthy mongrel were to corrupt and defile her body before I get the chance to make her my woman.’
The smile on the Prince’s face widened as he listened to Erica’s interview, wanting to know more about the young lady who had caught his fancy.
