Chapter 1329: Aftermath Of The War [Part 2]

Chapter 1329: Aftermath Of The War [Part 2]

Unlike the Demigods among the Infernals, a Demigod in Solterra was a big deal.

Why?

Because the strength of Demigods in their home world was on par with Pseudo-Gods. A giant part of it was thanks to the power of faith they had accumulated as deities in that world.

The world of Solterra might not have advanced technology like Pangea and Artem, but it wasn’t that relevant since the sheer energy of the world made its inhabitants significantly more powerful than regular people.

Simply put, a Demigod from Solterra fighting in Solterra could easily defeat three Infernal Demigods even if the latter ganged up.

The vice versa could be said for the Infernals.

If they were fighting in the Abyssal Void, they would also be stronger than other Demigods because of their home court advantage.

With Cranky still recovering from his injuries, Thirteen couldn’t rely on him for the time being.

The Paragon’s injury had worsened during the battle in Artem, when he forced himself to fight despite his injuries.

It would take Cranky several months to a year to fully recover.

Until then, Thirteen had asked him to rest. As Thirteen’s strongest ally in the upcoming battles, his recovery must be prioritized.

With Laplace Demon’s help, Cranky returned to the Valbarra Archipelago, where he was worshiped as a God.

The power of faith helped with recovery speed, making Valbarra Archipelago the best place for him to rejuvenate.

———

In a hot spring resort that belonged to the Leventis Family…

“We only have less than three weeks before the Winter Solstice comes,” Erica said softly.

“Indeed,” Thirteen replied before kissing her cheek. “Did you enjoy the vacation?”

“I did.” Erica snuggled close to her lover. “These past few months have been the happiest in my life.”

Thirteen’s other lovers had returned to their rooms after spending some private time with Thirteen in the hot spring.

Erica was the last one to go, so she planned to take her sweet time with her lover.

“Zion,” Erica said softly as she rested her head on his shoulder, “when you go to Solterra… how long will you be gone?”

“That depends on the situation,” Thirteen replied. “But I’ll return as quickly as I can. I promise.”

Erica lightly poked his cheek. “Your promises are too heavy, you know? Every time you say them, I feel like I’m stealing something precious from you.”

“You’re not stealing anything.” Thirteen smiled faintly. “If anything, you’re giving me more reasons to come back.”

The young lady wrapped her arms around his waist, as if trying to memorize the warmth she felt from him.

For a moment, neither of them spoke. All they could hear was the soothing sound of the flowing hot spring water and the gentle wind brushing past the pines at the edge of the resort.

“Zion,” Erica said at last. “Have you ever thought about what you want to do once the problem in Solterra is over?”

“I’ll come home,” Thirteen answered simply. “Marry all of you and spend our honeymoon somewhere wonderful. At that time, we will seriously make babies, so you’d better prepare yourself.”

The teenage boy playfully rubbed Erica’s lower abdomen, as if telling him to prepare her womb for his baby.

Erica’s lips curved into a soft smile. “Then I’ll wait. No matter how long it takes.”

They stayed in the hot spring for a few more minutes before Erica finally decided to take the initiative to kiss her beloved.

One thing led to another, and before they knew it, they were gasping for breath as they made love to each other.

A few minutes later, Thirteen carried an exhausted Erica in a princess carry.

He made sure to properly clean her so that any evidence of their lovemaking wouldn’t be discovered by his other lovers.

Although he didn’t want to admit it, without his Pseudo-God powers, he was at the complete mercy of the five ladies who loved him very much.

After laying ‌the sleeping beauty on her bed, Thirteen went out to take a stroll around the resort.

There, he found Sherry sitting on a bench, overlooking the magnificent lake in the distance.

“So here you are,” Thirteen said before sitting beside her.

Sherry smiled and kissed Thirteen’s cheek, which he returned lovingly.

“This place is beautiful, Zion,” Sherry said softly. “The air is fresh, the land is clean, and there are many beautiful sceneries. I’m glad you brought us here.”

Thirteen smiled faintly as he held her hand.

Just like him, his lovers would also be teleported to Solterra, except for Princess Xynalia and Princess Aracelle.

After some negotiations, Laplace Demon and The One agreed to let Sherry, Erica, Shana, and the rest of the Hero Party be teleported on the same mission together.

Their mission would take them far from the heart of the problem, but they would still play an important role. They were already set to be sent onto the territory of the Fiend who was the most “human-friendly” among them.

This fiend could also travel great distances and had the ability to change his face, so no one would recognize him during his travels.

Their mission was to assist this being in his efforts to keep the delicate balance between the Fiends and Celestials for as long as possible.

“Zion, sometimes, I wake up thinking that everything I experienced after I met you is just a dream,” Sherry said in a solemn tone. “My brother, who has been missing for a long time, finally returned home. Just like that, my family is complete again.

“You’re also a wonderful lover, always treating me like a priceless treasure. You make me the happiest girl in the world, Zion. However, I sometimes wake up thinking that everything that happened is just a dream. It scares me.”

Thirteen reached out to hug the young lady in his arms and whispered words of love in her ears.

Sherry leaned against him, enjoying his warmth and love.

“I don’t want this dream to end.” Sherry held Thirteen’s hand, intertwining her fingers with his own. “Since the first time we’ve met, you’ve always faced enemies far stronger than you. Some of those battles left you nearly crippled, and it scares me very much.

“So, promise me. Promise me that you will return safely. Promise me that you’ll marry me. Promise me that you will love me until we get old together.”

Sherry knew that Zion always kept his promise.

So, despite her fears, a single confirmation from her would put her heart at ease.

“I promise,” Thirteen replied and kissed her lips gently.

He kissed her three more times before pulling him closer to his embrace.

“I also promise to give you a dozen kids, then they can fight Erica’s kids in a football match,” Thirteen said, which made Sherry giggle.

“A dozen might be too much…” Sherry’s face reddened. “I’m not as bold as Erica.”

“Half then.”

“How about three?”

“Okay.” Thirteen smiled. “Three it is. If they are all boys, we’ll name them William, Lux, and Ethan.”

“What if they are all girls?” Sherry inquired.

“Then we’ll name them, Urd, Verdandi, and Skuld.”

“… Those names kind of sound familiar.”

“That’s just your imagination.”

Sherry blinked once, then twice, before snuggling closer to Thirteen’s embrace.

’I really hope that this dream will never end,’ Sherry thought as she closed her eyes.

Thirteen didn’t know that his lover was truly worried about him, but even if he knew, his determination would remain the same.

Regardless of whom he would face…

Regardless of what was waiting for him in Solterra…

He would return to his loved ones without fail, and beat the System God, and the Goddess of Fate…

In their own b*tchy game.
