SUPREME ARCH-MAGUS

Chapter 520 Forbidden Spirit?!

Kent stood before the long, polished mirror, his eyes not on his own reflection but on the naked figure of Queen Soya, sprawled across the bed in a trance-like state.

The soft silk sheets clung to her skin as she lay there, basking in the afterglow of whatever pleasures had enveloped her. Her chest rose and fell rhythmically, her eyes closed, as though she were floating in a world far from reality.

“So, did you find out who discovered the Titan crystal in Dead Island City?” Kent’s voice broke the silence, his tone cold and commanding as he adjusted his robes. His gaze remained fixed on her reflection in the mirror.

Soya’s lips curled into a lazy smile as her fingers tightly held the edge of the bed. Slowly, she opened her eyes, her body still humming from the pleasure she had experienced. “Mmm… yes. He’s a close relative of the Doom family. Went to oversee the construction of the teleportation gate at Dead Island City.”

Kent’s expression darkened as he absorbed the information. He had suspected it. “And?” he pressed.

Soya stretched blissfully, enjoying the attention before continuing. “I tortured him, long enough to break his spirit. He didn’t reveal the secret to anyone else. After the deaths of King Doom and his daughter, he went into hiding, but my personal wizards tracked him down.” She turned her body slightly, her fingers trailing the sheets as she stared at Kent.

“He’s dead now, and everyone involved in the construction of that gate has been imprisoned. The secret is safe. No one else will ever know about the Titan crystal.”

Kent remained silent, his reflection showing no emotion as he turned from the mirror and stepped forward. “Good. But I need more from you. As a favor for saving your life, I want a large teleportation gate built at Dead Island City. Not just any gate, but one that can support the transport of millions of people at once. It must be efficient and grand.”

Queen Soya’s eyes widened slightly at the audacity of his request. Yet, after a brief pause, she nodded, like a dutiful servant taking orders.

“Of course. Consider it done. Anything for you.” She reached out toward him, her hand gliding through the air as if to touch him, but Kent stepped away, pulling back from her grasp.

As he turned to leave, her voice called out, stronger this time, echoing with a hint of desperation.

“Kent!” He paused but didn’t turn to face her.

“I heard you’re visiting the royal treasury tomorrow. If you don’t mind, I’d like to accompany you. Perhaps you could use a guide?”

A smirk crept onto Kent’s face, though he didn’t allow her to see it. “I’d be glad if there was no one but you.” His tone was laced with a quiet threat. “I want time to inspect the treasury thoroughly. Prepare accordingly.”

Without another word, Kent walked out of the room, leaving Soya watching his back as he disappeared from sight.

As Kent stepped into the hallway, the lavish surroundings of the royal palace enveloped him. His mind was still focused on his plans for Dead Island City, the Titan crystal, and his next move. He took a turn at the corner, but before he could continue, his path was blocked.

A figure stood directly opposite him. Tall, muscular, and menacing, the man had an air of arrogance that hung around him like a dark cloud. His eyes were sharp, and from the corners of his mouth, two fangs protruded slightly, giving him a demonic appearance. His skin, pale and tinged with an eerie hue, hinted at a connection to the Rakshasa race.

Kent stopped, his gaze locking with the man’s, neither of them moving an inch. It was a silent standoff, both waiting for the other to make the first move.

The demon-like man’s lips curled into a sneer. “Idiot, what are you staring at? Move aside,” he growled, his voice filled with irritation.

“Dumb fools… don’t even know which side to walk on. Now, learn some manners and move to the right side.” Kent replied in a stern tone.

The opposite person’s face turned dark. “How dare you talk like that to me?” The man’s sneer deepened, his arrogance flaring. “You dare teach me manners? A commoner like you—polluting the royal palace with your presence? Instead of acting humble, you talk back to me?” His voice rose in anger. “Do you even know who I am? I’m Phillip… Phillip Lionheart, prince of the royal family, and you’re going to lose your life for disrespecting me!”

With that, Phillip raised his palm, intending to strike Kent with what he assumed was overwhelming force. But in his arrogance, he underestimated Kent. To Phillip, Kent appeared like an average Supreme Magus, someone beneath his notice.

But Kent didn’t flinch. He simply raised a single finger and intercepted Phillip’s strike. The moment Kent’s finger made contact with Phillip’s palm, an invisible force rippled through the air.

Phillip’s body stiffened, his eyes wide with shock. It wasn’t Kent’s strength that shook him—it was something else, something deeper.

Inside Phillip’s soul, a battle raged. The presence of the Forbidden Goddess Spirit, which resided within him, clashed against another power—the spirit of the Lust Goddess that hid within Kent. For a moment, Phillip felt as though he was being torn apart from the inside, his body convulsing as an unseen force electrocuted him.

The Forbidden Goddess Spirit’s voice shrieked inside Phillip’s mind. “Leave now! Do not look at him! You didn’t perform the ritual today—I am not strong enough to confront the divine spirit inside his body! Let’s Go! Now!”

Phillip staggered backward, his body trembling as he struggled to regain control. His arrogance crumbled, replaced by fear and confusion. Without another word, he turned and hurriedly walked away, not daring to look back at Kent.

Kent stood still, watching him retreat with a mix of amusement and surprise. He hadn’t expected such a reaction, but the confrontation revealed something interesting—Phillip was no ordinary prince.
