Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Upon hearing this question, Nathan couldn’t help but smile. That was right. It had been a few months since he came to this world.

Originally, the only thing he could think of was how to survive. He couldn’t even endure such little pain, so how could he endure the pain when fighting against the aliens?

“Do you want me to have an ambition to conquer the world? Do you want me to grow my strength and destroy the world?

“Well, I might end up having that ambition… Things I’d do for my family…” Nathan let out a long sigh. “I have given you my answer. All I want is to have a family. If my family is being threatened, I will crush all those threats, even if I have to be feared as a tyrant.

“If this world can’t host the family because of the aliens, I will get rid of those problems.” Nathan closed his eyes for a moment before saying, “I’m nothing but an ordinary man from an ordinary background. I have a simple goal, but this goal might be harder to achieve than the ambitions of most people…”

The Pope was speechless. Sera felt like her heart was being squeezed by an invisible hand. This was the first time she heard of his goal.

It was also a declaration for her. The family he wished to have been one where they would all smile.

In other words, Nathan would do everything possible to fulfill her ambition so that she could smile. As Nathan said, the goal might look simple, but the way to achieve it was much harder than anything they could think of.

She wanted to end world hunger. Other people also had their own ambitions, like Noelle, who wanted to have the sharpest sword in this world, or Alavenya, who wanted to surpass her father.

Nathan asked again, “Is it wrong to have such a goal? Is my goal lower than other people’s ambition?”

The Pope finally sighed. “I have to apologize for underestimating you. I thought I had understood you, but it turns out I have understood nothing. Family, huh? Indeed, it might look simple, but for someone like you, it might not be as simple as everyone can imagine.”

In the Pope’s eyes, Nathan, with his great ability, couldn’t make an ordinary family.

Nathan lowered his head and said, “I like Seraphina. I love her. I promise I will make her happy, so please allow me to marry Sera.”
