Chapter 441 - 440: Azure Heaven Sect, House of Draven (part 2)
Chapter 441: Chapter 440: Azure Heaven Sect, House of Draven (part 2)
"A Tier 7 dungeon."
One elder nodded.
"Yes, Patriarch."
Caelum’s fingers slowly tapped against the wooden table.
Their clan also possessed a dungeon.
A low-grade one.
It produced Tier 5 monsters and resources that were useful for strengthening younger clan members.
But over the years, the dungeon’s limitations had become increasingly obvious.
The clan had grown.
Its population had increased.
Its cultivation resources had not.
Even with careful management... The dungeon could no longer satisfy their needs.
Now, a new dungeon had appeared.
And according to the report. It was far more valuable than their own.
Caelum’s eyes narrowed.
"How many people know about this?"
"At present, the three great powers have likely received the information."
The old patriarch’s expression finally changed.
"Then we have no time."
One elder immediately stepped forward.
"Should we mobilize the clan?"
Caelum raised his hand.
"No."
The elder froze.
"We don’t know enough."
----
Alix’s Working Chamber
While the three great powers were carefully analyzing the information they had received, completely unaware of what the future held, Alix was sitting peacefully inside his working chamber.
The room was considerably more spacious than an ordinary office.
A large table occupied the center, covered with maps, reports, documents, and various records concerning the development of the former Alnera Kingdom.
Several shelves lined the walls.
Some contained military reports.
Others contained information regarding the surrounding kingdoms and their major forces.
A large map of the region occupied the wall behind Alix.
Numerous markers had already been placed across it.
Some represented cities.
Others represented monster settlements.
And several marked the territories of the surrounding powers.
Alix was quietly reading a report when the doors suddenly opened.
"Big brother!"
A cheerful voice immediately echoed through the chamber.
Alix raised his head.
Ruva came rushing inside with an enormous smile on her face.
Behind her walked Sorin and Karnessa.
The contrast between the three was rather amusing.
Ruva looked incredibly excited, her eyes practically glowing with pride.
Sorin remained composed as usual, her long hair flowing behind her as she walked with her usual graceful movements.
Karnessa, meanwhile, wore her usual confident expression, her posture relaxed despite the enormous blood-red aura naturally surrounding her.
"What’s wrong?"
Ruva placed both hands on her hips and proudly lifted her chin.
"I did it!"
Alix blinked.
"Did what?"
"I killed a peak Tier 5 demon in the dungeon!"
Her voice was filled with so much excitement that it almost seemed as though she had conquered an entire kingdom.
Alix stared at her for several seconds.
Then a smile appeared on his face.
"Oh?"
"So you’ve already become that strong?"
Ruva nodded enthusiastically.
"Yes!"
She clenched her tiny fists.
"It’s all thanks to my two big sisters!"
She pointed toward Sorin and Karnessa.
"Hehe!"
Sorin couldn’t help but smile.
"Princess Ruva is simply a prodigy."
Ruva’s cheeks immediately reddened slightly.
"Big sister Sorin..."
Sorin walked closer and gently placed a hand on Ruva’s head.
"You shouldn’t be modest."
"You’ve improved incredibly quickly."
"Your comprehension is exceptional, and your control over your power has improved significantly since we began training."
Karnessa crossed her arms and nodded.
"She’s right."
She looked toward Ruva with a faint grin.
"At this rate, you’ll become a Tier 6 in no time."
Ruva’s eyes immediately widened.
"Really?"
Karnessa laughed softly.
"Of course."
"You’ve already reached the point where peak Tier 5 opponents can no longer suppress you."
"With enough training and actual combat experience, breaking through to Tier 6 is only a matter of time."
Ruva looked incredibly happy.
She turned toward Alix.
"Did you hear that, big brother?"
Alix chuckled.
"I heard."
He stood from his chair and walked toward her.
"Good work."
Those two simple words immediately made Ruva smile even more.
For Ruva, receiving praise from Alix was far more valuable than any treasure.
She had been training relentlessly with Sorin and Karnessa.
Her progress was already astonishing.
Although she was still younger and less experienced than the two generals, her natural talent was becoming increasingly apparent.
Alix placed a hand on her head.
"Keep training."
"I will!"
Ruva immediately nodded.
"And I’ll definitely become Tier 6 soon!"
Sorin smiled at her determination.
Karnessa gave a quiet laugh.
"At least your confidence hasn’t decreased."
Ruva puffed out her cheeks.
"It’s not confidence if I can actually do it!"
The three women continued talking for a while.
Eventually, Sorin and Karnessa decided it was time to leave.
Ruva reluctantly followed them toward the door.
Before leaving, she turned around.
"Big brother!"
"What?"
"I’ll come back after I become a Tier 6!"
Alix smiled.
"I’ll be waiting."
Ruva happily left with Sorin and Karnessa.
The doors closed behind them.
The room became quiet once again.
Alix returned to his desk.
He had barely picked up another report when footsteps sounded outside.
The door opened, and Gander stepped inside.
The cursed mage walked calmly into the chamber, his robes moving slightly with every step. He stopped several meters before Alix’s desk and lowered his head respectfully.
"My Lord."
Alix looked up from the report in his hands.
"Gander."
"How is the transfer progressing?"
Gander immediately understood what Alix was referring to.
"The transfer is proceeding smoothly, My Lord."
He paused for a moment before continuing.
"At present, almost two million soldiers have successfully transferred from the Ereborn Continent to this continent."
Alix’s eyes briefly widened.
"Two million already?"
"Yes, My Lord."
Gander’s voice remained calm and respectful.
"The transportation formations have been operating continuously. The process is considerably faster than our initial estimates, and the majority of the soldiers have already arrived safely."
Alix leaned back in his chair.
For several moments, he remained silent.
Two million soldiers.
That was an enormous number even by his standards.
Transferring such a massive army from one continent to another was no small undertaking. It required enormous amounts of energy, countless transportation formations, and an organization capable of coordinating millions of individuals without allowing the process to descend into chaos.
Fortunately, Gander had handled it.
Alix slowly nodded.
"That’s good."
He placed the report back onto his desk.
"Continue the transfer."
Gander bowed slightly.
"Understood."
Alix’s gaze shifted toward the large map hanging behind him.
There were already numerous markings across it, representing cities, settlements, military positions, resource sites, and the territories surrounding the former Alnera Kingdom.
With almost two million additional soldiers arriving, his situation had changed considerably.
Previously, his greatest weakness had been manpower.
His personal strength had never been the problem.
He could finally respond to several threats at the same time.
Alix tapped his finger against the desk.
"This is good timing."
Gander remained silently waiting for further instructions.
After several seconds, Alix looked toward him.
"Once the soldiers have completely transferred, organize them properly."
Gander nodded again.
"As you wish, My Lord."
He understood exactly what Alix wanted.
Gander bowed once more before turning around and leaving the chamber.
The heavy doors slowly closed behind him, leaving Alix alone once again.
Alix remained seated behind his desk for several moments, his fingers lightly tapping against the wooden surface as he considered everything that had happened during the past month.
The transfer from the Ereborn Continent was progressing smoothly, the territory of the former Alnera Kingdom had stabilized, and the dungeon was already producing an astonishing amount of wealth.
