Strongest Hammer God

Kyle took a deep breath as he thought about his new Personal Law.

Surprisingly, comprehending this Law didn’t come with a granting of new knowledge.

After all, it was his Law. It was his thing. He made this. How could the world know more about his Law than him?

Nevertheless, after Kyle had established his Personal Law, he still learned a couple of things.

‘All Laws are just ways to manipulate Energy,’ he thought. ‘Everything is made of Energy, and Laws are just certain usages of said Energy, which create different effects.’

‘By moving my Energy in a certain way, I managed to transform the Energy into something destructive that doesn’t already exist in this world.’

‘Of course, the difference between just increasing my power by a bit and having a Personal Law is quality. If my Law couldn’t reach a certain level of power, the Energy in the surroundings wouldn’t support it.’

‘The Law system already exists, and my own Law has to show that it can keep up with them.’

‘I can see why nobody talked too much about it. Long Transformation said that creating a Personal Law, I think that’s the name, is something you need to do as a Spirit Lord to advance. As a Spirit Lord, it’s probably much easier to create something that can rival actual Laws.’

‘A Spirit Lord is refining their Soul, and the Soul determines someone’s power over their surroundings. Creating and using a Personal Law means imposing your Law onto the real world.’

‘You probably don’t even need to use any physical power to achieve that. There are probably also ways to create Personal Laws for ethereal or mental attacks.’

Kyle looked at his empty right hand. ‘Now that I think about it, it also makes some sense that it would be more related to physical fighters. I mean, maybe saying it’s more related is wrong. It’s more about the fact that physical fighters are lacking something.’

‘As a physical fighter, you fight with your body, but there’s only one kind of Law dealing with that aspect, the Laws of Body. Meanwhile, almost all the Elemental Laws are essentially made for ethereal attacks.’

‘It’s more accurate to say that physical fighters benefit the most from creating a Personal Law. It finally gives us a way to actually use our Center, which is the very thing humans are the best at.’

‘Beasts have far less Energy than humans in the same Realm, but their physical bodies are much more powerful.’

The next moment, Kyle’s hammer appeared in his hands. It felt nice to actually hold his actual hammer again.

Kyle closed his eyes, and half of his Energy entered the hammer.

As he felt his Energy enter, he felt his hammer becoming much lighter.

It felt almost weightless.

‘I can conjure an illusory hammer, but I can also infuse my actual hammer with my Personal Law. The Energy is not attacking my hammer in any way. Instead, it is augmenting my hammer.’

‘The physical weight of my hammer didn’t decrease, but it feels like it did.’

‘My Personal Law has two aspects to it, increased Energy Weight and speed. The reason why my hammer feels lighter is that my Personal Law is supporting it with its speed aspect.’

The next moment, Kyle exchanged his hammer.

As he held his new hammer, he felt that the weight was just perfect.

This was the most powerful hammer Kyle could create, and if he didn’t use his Personal Law, it would be extremely hard to swing it.

But with his Personal Law, it was perfect.

Kyle swung his hammer once, and even though it was technically too heavy for him, his swing was incredibly fast.

‘The speed and power of my swings reached a completely new level,’ he thought. ‘I believe I might actually have a chance to win against an Advanced Crusher.’

‘I might actually need to upgrade my hammer sooner than expected. Yes, right now, it’s still fine, and it will still be fine when I become a Crusher, but that’s when I use my old definition of what having a good hammer means.’

‘In the past, it was about its hardness since I didn’t want it to break, but now, it’s more about its potential. I can lift a much heavier hammer, and not taking advantage of that fact would be stupid.’

After Kyle thought a bit more about his Personal Law, he got an idea.

‘This is also related to the Soul, right? Souls are about manipulating one’s surroundings. So, technically…’

Kyle put his hammer away and looked down the long corridor inside the Natural Trial.

The next moment, an illusory hammer appeared in the corridor and swung.

It was important to note that Kyle’s body didn’t even move when this happened.

‘I have a ranged attack,’ he thought with raised brows. ‘That’s so useful!’

‘Sadly, it has limited power. The attack has zero physical weight and doesn’t include my physical power. It’s only using my Center to strike, which means it’s also not benefiting from my Complex Law.’

‘However, that attack still isn’t a joke. This is still strong enough to kill a new or maybe even Minor Crusher, assuming they don’t defend.’

Kyle experimented a bit more. Sadly, there wasn’t a lot of space in the Natural Trial.

‘Anyway, I should actually see if I can unlock this mysterious thirteenth Cluster.’

The next moment, Kyle sat down and closed his eyes as he focused on his body.

In his mind appeared the image of his Personal Law.

His Law of Hammer.

Half of his Energy left his Center, but it remained inside his body.

Kyle moved the Energy representing his Law of Hammer through all his Minor Clusters before moving it towards his first Major Cluster, the one in his heart.

As soon as he did that, he felt something peculiar.

The Energy was absorbed by his heart.

He thought that he needed to move it through all of his Clusters, but that wasn’t the case, apparently.

In a way, that made sense. The first Major Cluster directly related to the body.

After some seconds, all the Energy entered Kyle’s heart, and when it completely vanished, his heart made a tremendous beat.

As he heard the beat, Kyle felt like something ancient was being woken up inside of him.

It was like his body was resonating with itself.

Kyle’s body became hot, and he started to sweat.

Another powerful beat followed, and this time, Kyle noticed something.

His Minor Clusters had moved!

All of them moved a tiny bit towards Kyle’s heart.

More beats followed, and with every beat, Kyle saw his Minor Clusters getting closer.

Several minutes later, all of his Minor Clusters reached his heart, and the beating intensified.

A moment later, all of his Minor Clusters started to shrink, and the Major Cluster inside Kyle’s heart grew.

Eventually, all Minor Clusters were gone.

BANG!

Kyle’s heart beat again, and this time, it was even louder.

It was like all of Kyle’s existence was dominated by this war drum that was his heart.

Then, the Major Clusters started to move.
